I've been coming here for years and today was the first time I wanted to cancel my appointments and never step into this building again. The valet thinks that it's okay to yell at patients and mock and kick them off of the property in front of everyone outside. While being rude, disrespectful and it must be normal since she did this without batting an eye. I would Never recommend this location. I'm thinking if I'll ever recommend any Ohio state hospital or doctor ever again.

Please when leaving comments and ratings stipulate whether you were at the MM Pavilion or the MM Towers. Because, at the MM Towers I have been treated above and beyond by all staff: from housekeeping all the way up to the best of the best drs. and nurses... Always as if I have been Queen for a Day. Everyone is knowledgeable in their field. Even the Cafe people make me smile when I leave. The lab techs and nurses know me by my face and name. Always a pleasure to see them. For a while I would call MMTowers my home away from home as I have 4 cancers. They have saved my life numerous times and I'm grateful. Blessings to the MM Towers. NOW the MM Pavilion is quite another story in my opinion. The lab is very dirty looking and NO privacy when blood or samples are being collected. What if I was one who passed out when blood was drawn, would that be fair to the patient to have onlookers? Also the lab there is not aloud to access ports for blood. Possibly bec. the building is so dirty and it's NOT housekeeping's fault that it is. I also have been treated rudely there in numerous depts. Maybe many employees don't like their jobs or working in a not so kosher building or even lack of communication from the employee's overseers. I will say the Pulmonary dept. is superb there cleaner and profession. Prayers for the MM Pavilion.

I have terrible anxiety and my doctor told me yesterday I have to take time off of work to come in for a urinalysis and sign paper work for an anti anxiety medication I take. I tried to figure out why I suddenly have to do this when prior I could just request a refill. Dr Weed then began to accuse me of being “desperate”. And changed the tile to our email chain to ‘desperate for’ a specific anti anxiety medication. I think it’s pretty cruel to tell someone who already fears leaving their house something that accusatory. It made me feel like I was the bad guy. I’ve been extremely upset for the past 24 hours. I have a panic disorder so I’m living in hell. I was unable to go in to work due to this doctor making assumptions about me leaving me to anxious to leave or go anywhere. I have lost any trust or faith that my doctor is here to help and support me. I feel scared to talk to a new doctor and be treated the same way. I still don’t understand why I have to jump through hoops to get a medication that had perviously changed my life.

This location gets one star and its not even close to the worst OSU location; Worst- The James Inpatient Hospital Team...The James/Ross Hospital in general 2nd Worst- Care Point East in general, namely the Rheumatology Department. 3rd Worst- Dermatology East...West isn’t far behind. 4th- MoreHouse in General, Namely the Allergy Department I was recently diagnosed with Lyme’s Disease, not at OSU, as the last 5 years I’ve been passed from one specialist to the next, likely seeing a total of 15 doctors in their system. I tested positive for Lyme’s on 3 different spaced out tests in the fall and every OSU doctor I saw I asked to see their Lyme’s Specialist. Every Single One, roughly 10 different doctor’s, Laughed/Scoffed/Disregarded the idea I had it. Finally I moved on and was quickly diagnosed by a non OSU Lyme Specialist. I’ve had it for 7 years and am currently in month 2 of treatment and feel so much better than I did at any point since contracting it. -Fín- OSU- Don’t you dare give me that schlock response message about your inept customer service team. There is a zero percent chance anything will be done about any qualm I have or anyone else’s on this page either. Instead, Figure out if your goal is grooming more bad doctor’s or actually helping people live better lives in any semblence of a timely manner. *These Views Are My Opinion and That Alone*

Half the staff was rude, and lacked empathy especially Stephanie. Not a good first impression. Dr. Lawrence Chan was nice and knowledgeable. Won't be going back for a next appointment. Seeking care elsewhere

I went to Martha Morehouse for an ankle injury. I received X-rays and was told I had an avulsion fracture. I was then referred to a specialist. But First, while at Martha they instructed me I had to wear a walking boot. I informed the assistant who had taken my blood pressure and some general information- that I had been going on this injury for now over 6 months and I left for Florida tomorrow I would not be wearing the boot until speaking with the specialist as this seemed overkill. The assistant however had other plans and opened up the boot and advised me I had to wear the boot walking out. That is the only time I have worn this boot! After seeing the specialist in Sports Medicine he said a boot was not necessary and that I should see PT and take 2 Advil a day. I now have this boot that cost $250.00!!!!! That I wore one time leaving Martha Morehouse. They also didn’t bill my insurance company for the boot. Why? I have no idea as all of my info is on file and was billed properly for the x-rays etc. I have received nothing but a run around when trying to receive help in getting these charges reversed- between the place that sells the boot to Marth Morehouse and the advocacy group for Martha, and insurance. $250.00 is a lot of money! Especially for something that was never needed in the first place. So disappointed in not resolving a solution towards this!

Great facility but the lab staff is so slow in blood draw area. They take their time getting to work and will sit talking instead of drawing blood. I had an instance where I came over on my 45 minute lunch break and spent 30 minutes waiting for the lab. When they called me back it was empty they were just eating and talking about how "not busy" things were that day. Every other area of the center runs top notch and is mindful of people's time.

It's sickening to see this level of unprofessional staff that calls themselves doctors here. Worthless.. Scheduling diagnostic testing was done timely but be aware, "doctors" here will not respond to you when you are trying to reach them to get treatment. They simply don't care. Go somewhere else..

Ugh. I wish I had better things to say about this place. Almost every time I’ve been ill and unable to get into my primary care doctor, I’ve had to come here to Afterhours Care because it’s basically the only option with my insurance. First time I came here was a few years ago. I thought I had strep. I initially went to the Giant Eagle Fastcare and they referred me to here to get a swab test. I go there, and I waited quite a few hours in the waiting room that is almost completely empty. Someone finally came out and guided me into my room. I then wait almost an hour more til anyone comes to see me. Then a student Doctor comes in and talks to me and takes notes. Her attending comes in later and looks at the notes her student took and said “I don’t think you have strep”. I look at her puzzled, have a conversation about why I feel like I have it and think that it should at least be ruled out on a test. She was very short with me and insisted that she was not going to do it. No one ever apologized for the long wait, nor their poor bedside manner... But wait... They did send me a bill for almost $150. Less than a week later I finally was able to get into my primary care doctor. And she DID do the test. After the results she asked me “who told you that you didn’t have strep”? I simply answered “the Doctor who flat out refused to test me”. At least then I was able to get on antibiotics and get better. Fast forward to recent times though. I had recently been ill and again trying to get into my primary care doctor. Unfortunately she was booked to the max for a few days. In order to avoid coming back here, I had tried my best to stick to the home remedies as best I could and hoping that I would feel better eventually with them. Unfortunately, I did not though and still was unable to get into my primary doctor. With hesitation, I came back to The Afterhours clinic here, hoping for a better experience than last. Unfortunately, much of the previous experience was a repeat. And when checking in with a Medical Assistant, she was rude and asked in an annoyed manner “Why did you wait till now to come in?” Clearly, she’s not even worth the explanation.

Came here the day after a serious car accident and seeing all the great reviews. We did not have a similar happy experience. We waited for over 90 minutes in the office for our doctor or nurse to return or to acknowledge we were still waiting. The nurse ignored us and hurried away to avoid talking us, probably because he knew we were going to ask what was taking so long. There were two other patients being seen at the same time, but it's unacceptable that this visit took over three hours.

Really rude scheduling person. She cut me off and hang up in my face when I was telling her my cat doesn’t have a social number. She right away with all prejudices just hang up. She doesn’t know how to be passionate or show Any compassion, considering people who Cole have animals with serious diseases. I will never ever recommend this place at all. Very bad office.

The lab is run very poorly. The wait times are ridiculous. They ask us to be there a half hour early but make you sit there 45 mins after your appointment to do a simple blood draw? Are you kidding me? We are sick with cancer and just love sitting around extra hours because they cant staff correctly?

Very Unprofessional phone staff that love to play on the phone during company time"Stephanie..Adrian"... Melody....Mikki with an "I"....(just to name a few).and when you get smart back at them (for which I do cause I don't play about bullying and that's exactly what they do all-day on the phone lines they want to threaten you with security) Surely they not running up Security telling them how they took turns playing on the phones when you l wanting to do is talk to the Director Renee Owens..so basically they're saying she approves of their conduct ...CALL AT YOUR OWN RISK AND RECORD EVERY CONVERSATIONS..EVEN TO SET UP APPOINTMENTS...Even when I sit in the lobby for treatment I hear them being smart and playing on the phone to patients calling in ..maybe the Construction changes are making them turn into bullies..Maybe instead of more outside changes you need to change within ... they're not adapting for better. Visit my other O.S.U staff in other places ..you can tell the difference

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The care team and some... not all of the nurses/staff in the the Bariatric weight management clinic lack empathy when you come in if your not feeling well. This is my third time coming for aftercare from my surgery and unfortunately Every time I have left feeling like I know little to nothing about my health. My last straw with this dept was the other day and I have never ever been to a appt where I have left in tears and on the verge of a panic attack. Just sitting in my patient room listening to them talk about me as a patient because they left the door open.. just listening to them say that they cant help me any longer that I should just go to the ER for my needs further lets me know this place lacks empathy for its patients. Then to come in to tell me the same thing I just heard is unbelievable. I also witnessed 3or4 colleagues in a huddle discuss personal issues and issues they have with the hospital as I was leaving is so beyond unprofessional. This has been the worst care. I have ever been through. Now I have to wait a month and 2 weeks for a procedure which to them could be life saving and instead of calling me to tell me about the procedure which they also said the procedure should be in 2-3 weeks which they lied they sent a message in mychart of the procedure. So unprofessional. I will be calling to make a formal complaint. So over this hospital. :((

Your parking is absolutely horrendous. You have patient parking in the farthest reaches of the parking lot and an almost empty valet parking right by the front of the building. Does this not seem completely backwards to you ?? Blatant manipulation to get you to pay for valet parking. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. 👎👎

The Martha Morehouse building is the most disgusting medical building I have ever been in. First of all, the building is old, dirty and it stinks like cigarette smoke. I have to take a shower when I get home because my clothes smell like smoke. Also, the building is falling apart. I hate going there but my doctor does not have another office. I am a cancer patient and I am used to OSU's high standards that they have at The James. Please tell me that this place is ready for the wrecking ball soon!!!

I wish I could give zero. Never have I experienced such rudeness at a hospital. The guy taking my information was very agitated with me. And proceeded to roll his eyes and say “great” when I told him I was a new patient. This rudeness proceeded by him saying “might as well cancel everything this going to take forever.” I actually started to cry, I am college student who already had anxiety about going to a new place far from home and I was just looking to have a quick test done.

Recently I had an MRI at the Martha Morehouse facility. I don’t particularly enjoy MRI’s but the nurses/ technicians did an outstanding job of working with me to make the experience the most positive MRI I have ever had. A special thanks to Mercedes and Eric for not only helping me through the process but showing me that I won’t need to dread future MRI’s if needed.

About half the staff is fairly rude the other half is nice. The building and directions to actually reach outpatient care are confusing. When we didn’t know we had to check in we were rudely received by registration. Not only that but after receiving an X-ray you need to return back to the outpatient care area and stand at the door. You then, must knock for 5 minutes before you are let in again and your care can continue. They don’t have anyone waiting to let you in or checking to see if someone is waiting. It’s frustrating and upsetting. Patient care and comfort should be something you strive for and that doesn’t seem to happen here.

DO NOT GO HERE Such a poor place. I hope I never have to go back here. 1.) I was unable to use a wheelchair that I needed because they are only able to be pushed and staff refused to help me. 2.) The test that I had was done poorly, and was extremely short. 3.) Needing the results for doctors and they refuse to send the offices a fax or otherwise of my results so the specified doctors can continue much needed care. 4.) I have talked with so many people @ Martha MoreHouse, and they have been incredibly rude. Unhelpful, and unprofessional.

Hospital is not only a place for medical care but a place for hospitality and hope. Martha more house is nothing like this. Most of the staff i spoke to at Pavilion, from the front desk to check in staff were very rude and unprofessional. Except the Doctor was so nice. I don’t recommend this place unless they train their rude staff how to give a quality customer service. Or may be how to talk to patients

Facility is not disability friendly because of the layout. I finally asked for a wheelchair but it was the first one I've been in that had no padding but was solid plastic instead. Doctors are friendly and fast. Nurses are knowledgeable and kind. MOST lab techs are great but both times I've had a blood draw there, it's been an issue. The first time I was actually cut by the needle AFTER it was removed to the point that the scrape bled. This time, the tech dug around in my vein after no blood came out into the vial. The other tech with her had to tell her to stop because I was in obvious pain. She easily filled 6 vials from my other arm but failed to get gauze on the site before blood gushed out, which she laughed about when the other tech asked what happened. If you can, get your blood drawn elsewhere.

The doctors are nice but I've had problems with scheduling more than once. First they scheduled me at the wrong location, which I had to reschedule when I got there so i missed an appointment. The second time I was scheduled I made sure and asked them twice that it's on May 3rd at this time at this location, she said yes. So I called today on April 16th to cancel my May 3rd appointment. And she said I dont have one for May 3rd it's for April 19th... so I said whatever cancel that one too I found a different doctor and I wont be returning. Dont know what they are playing at but it was so annoying.

I had a wonderful experience here. Any type of cancer is scary but everyone from the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor was exceptional! I got an appointment very quickly. My nurse Katherine and Dr. Pootrakul at the Mohs surgery center were very informative and caring. I felt like I was in the best hands. Very pleased with the care and attention I was given. The outcome was much better then I expected. Thank you!

Internal General Medicine, Martha Morehouse Pavillions, 2nd Floor I can't say enough about how rude the staff is here. I was shocked at the level of unprofessionalism and childlike behavior displayed by the nursing staff. One nurse, Alicia, was leading the pack with her undercover nastiness. Not sure who is supervising this place but SOMEONE needs to check the staff.

I love OSU, but this hospital is the most unclean hospital I have ever been in. Not to mention having an appointment in a room that faces the sun on the 13th floor and no air conditioning, just made it extra awful! I hope I never have to set foot in this particular hospital again! The P.A. that I had to see there was decent and the staff that I encountered was kind, so no complaints there.

Have you ever had the experience where as a female patient of colour you talk to a white male medical provider about pain and he hears not a word you said? Happened to me at Martha Morehouse Advanced Immediate Care yesterday, where a male nurse practitioner did not address headache and earache I specifically and repeatedly mentioned, and sent me away with a ‘prescription’ of Mucinex D. Also said to me: ‘You’re talking as though you’ve never had a cold before.’ Guess what difference the Mucinex D has made. None.

I was seen here in the Occupational Therapy Dept. on Dec.5th for a driving assessment. Firstly, the therapist talked to my daughter and made eye contact with her for about 90% of the time, when anyone who knows me would testify that I am NOT senile. When I took the actual on road test, she became agitated, seemingly annoyed and aggressive. I was a wreck by the time she abruptly terminated it. I had sensed on my own that I had some sort of depth problem and a minor weakness on my right side, but approached the test with a “can do...at least for a short while longer” confidence . By the time she was through with me I was in tears! I feel strongly that her behavior and attitude only acerbated a painful and perhaps invalid test result.

Went for after-hours urgent care. Poor parking signage, had some unfriendly staff, poorly designed and dated facility. Doctor sent me to the ER for COVID rule out. Upon arrival at ER, staff was frustrated and said Morehouse Doctor should NOT have sent me to ER but to a simple swab station that was nearby to Morehouse. Didn’t get the sense that Morehouse was a well-oiled machine.

PARKING! Beware - a lot of construction around this building full of wonderful physicians and healthcare workers. While there is fortunately plenty of parking relatively close-by for those with handicapped stickers, the lot for parking is a good hike from the building and uncovered so be prepared for the weather. The valet is only $3 but takes CASH ONLY, surprising for 2020.

I like that you only have to go to one place for Xrays and lab work. There also is a Urgent care after hours.

Had a horrible experience yesterday. I am elderly and disabled as is my companion. I needed help with my wheelchair to get to my appointment. The woman who checked us in, not only gave us attitude about helping me, when my companion started to say something to her, she threatened us with security! She went from zero to 100 in less than a minute. This should never have happened. When I complained to a supervisor, she turned it around on me, because I was upset. I never said a word to the original woman, but because I'm upset now, the supervisor could see why the original woman would call security. I don't appreciate the gaslighting and victim blaming. This is a SHAMEFUL way to treat anybody, let alone someone who is coming to you for help. If this woman gets so triggered by being expected to do her job, she needs a new job that doesn't involve people.

Staff and management at Martha Morehouse are a joke. Beware of Physical medicine and rehab. The employees are unprofessional, talk about patients behind their backs with each other and if they don't like someone they will single them out. The manager Allison Smith is the worst one there. She has kicked patients out of the clinic for no reason just because she doesn't like them and she is such a penny pincher when it comes to proper supplies being needed in the clinic. Don't take your loved ones to this clinic, they do not care whatsoever and their level of professionalism when no one is looking is sickening. They use expired or old supplies on patients, and don't care because it saves the clinic money. Stay away from this clinic!!!

WARNING: The so-called advanced immediate care is not urgent care, even though they provide the same service!!! I went there for advanced immediate care. It was totally the same as urgent care. The doctor just asked me a few questions, and I was told that they couldn't do the lab analysis for me. So I left with a prescription only. Today, I received the bill and I was charged several hundred bucks! I couldn't believe it because my urgent care copay should be $50 only. I called the hospital first. The lady answering me acknowledged that I was visiting urgent care and suggested me asking the insurance company. Then my insurance company told me that the information on the claim was office visit, not urgent care, so it was counted towards my deductible instead of urgent care copay. The insurance company said I could contact the hospital to correct the wrong billing information. So I called the hospital again. This time a male representative answered my call. At first he said the immediate care was a new name for urgent care. But after he checked my bill, he took his words back and said they were different. I argued with him and he insisted not correcting the billing information. Now I realize that they use that fancy name "advanced immediate care" just to steal your money! Don't be tricked after you've seen my review!

👍 I got the run-around from my doc so I decided to try this place out. The downside is though their prices work out to less per unit than viagra, the treatment is still not cheap. It's more of an upfront cost, but my insurance wasn't covering cialis anyways so it is what it is I guess. They have highe...

🫤 Only leaving 2 stars because the doctor was exceptional! The nurse on the other hand was a different story! Came in for back pain/swollen glands. The doctor suggested a CT to rule out appendicitis. I was reluctant, but since they weren't busy I agreed, just in case. The nurse comes in to start my IV...
