My
cat
was
a
patient
of
Health
&
Harmony
for
approximately
1.5
years;
the
remaining
6
months
was
as
a
result
of
having
to
remain/uphold
a
relationship
for
a
prescription
food
that
he
was
placed
on.
Backdating
this
review
to
reflect
the
entire
length
of
his
time
at
Health
&
Harmony
to
be
fair
and
truthful
to
his
experience.
As
a
Grandview
Yard
resident,
the
proximity
and
hours
were
convenient
and
the
reviews
drew
me
in.
As
a
first
time
single
pet
owner,
I
wanted
the
absolute
best
for
my
pet.
My
cat
got
off
to
a
rocky
start
after
inability
to
get
in
for
an
immediate
welcome
visit,
despite
coming
down
with
an
emergency
illness.
I
took
him
to
a
24-hour
clinic
prior;
during
his
time
at
the
ER
he
contracted
what
I
would
later
find
out
was
ringworm.
I
was
anticipating
a
first
appointment
with
(Health
and
Harmony)
+
called
to
share
my
concerns,
I
was
immediately
told
not
to
touch
him
and
to
not
bring
him
into
the
waiting
area
as
he'd
be
able
to
pass
off
to
other
pets.
This
was
extremely
upsetting
as,
I
was
seeking
care
and
being
told
to
essentially
neglect
my
pet.
With
no
alternative
options,
I
brought
him
in
for
his
appointment
at
H&H.
The
vet
shared
that
it
looked
like
"ring
worm"
but
wouldn't
be
able
to
confirm
until
they
ran
lab-work
which
would
cost
several
hundred
dollars
and
take
a
few
days.
A
student
who
was
practicing
under
the
vet
who
happened
to
be
in
the
room
pulled
out
a
blacklight
to
show
that
it
was
glowing
and
thus
confirmed
on
the
spot
that
it
was
ringworm
free
of
charge.
I
was
upset
the
vet
had
not
thought
or
tried
this,
but
was
happy
to
be
moving
in
the
direction
of
having
him
cured
so
maintained
my
relationship
with
H&H.
Approximately
6-8
months
later,
my
cat
started
to
urinate
on
whites.
He
had
never
shown
disciplinary
issues
in
the
past;
thus,
this
was
extremely
concerning.
Scheduled
an
emergency
appointment
for
him
to
be
checked.
H&H
gave
me
a
different
vet,
who
brushed
it
off
to
him
acting
out.
When
the
behavior
continued
and
I
started
to
notice
blood
in
his
urination,
only
then
was
it
confirmed
that
he
might
have
blockage
in
his
urination
...
another
check-up
fee,
x-rays,
etc
were
incurred.
Most
upsetting,
all
of
this
time
my
pet
had
to
face
discomfort
despite
me
sharing
and
suggesting
the
potential
of
this
at
of
his
initial
visit.
Walked
away
with
several
hundred
dollars
in
medicine
and
a
new
special
food
to
prevent
further
blocks/stones.
The
food
(Royal
Canine
SO)
was
prescription
so
I
was
told
that
I
needed
to
continue
to
order
through
the
vet.
This
was
inconvenient
as
they
did
not
offer
delivery
to
my
household,
so
I
physically
had
to
drive
and
pick-up
(no
longer
lived
in
Yard)
and
would
have
to
call
to
order
every
single
time.
At
a
later
follow-up
check-up,
they
had
pulled
the
wrong
files
for
the
wrong
pet
and
then
questioned
me
if
I
had
brought
in
the
wrong
pet.
Absolutely
unacceptable.
Around
the
same
time
I
found
out
that
I
was
being
relocated
for
work;
I
stockpiled
on
food
prior
to
leaving.
When
I
started
to
run
low,
I
started
researching
options
to
repurchase.
I
found
out
that
Chewy/Petco
offered
both
at
a
lower
cost
and
conveniently
would
be
able
to
ship
to
my
new
address
(which
was
out-of-state).
After
placing
an
order,
Chewy
and
me
both
reached
out
to
H&H
for
his
prescription.
This
food
encourages
the
pet
to
consume
more
water
and
urinate
more
to
keep
it
clear
and
prevent
blocks,
nothing
groundbreaking.
To
our
dismay,
H&H
would
not
email
or
release
prescription.
After
quite
a
deal
of
back
and
forth,
they
said
I
could
pick
up
an
in-person
printed
copy.
I
lived
500
miles
away,
they
knew
this
option
was
a
challenging
one,
I
was
forced
to
temporarily
take
him
off
the
food.
Less
than
2
months
later,
my
cat
started
showing
similar
symptoms.
I
had
to
take
him
to
an
emergency
clinic.
Only
then
did
H&H
release
his
records
when
I
called
frantic
and
tears
because
they
were
concerned
if
bladder
was
going
to
burst
due
to
blockage
he
could
pass
away.
At
that
time,
they
released.
This
vet
is
run
as
business
and
tries
to
penny
and
dime
your
pet
for
profit.
