Super nice park. Many beautiful old trees. Has ball diamond, basketball court, multiple tennis courts with night lights. 6 tennis practice stalls with murals on the outside. There are two sets of playgrounds and many swings. Two outside shelterhouses and another one that is very large and enclosed. There is a beautiful grove of older trees and a pond.

Went for the Hilltop Bean Dinner Festival and the park was absolutely great! Love the fact there are trees providing shade throughout the day!

Three play areas, racket ball courts, and swings. Really beautiful area with murals. The park is on the site of camp chase, so you get a little history lesson as well.

The park is very spacious and has lots of picnic tables. The park has squirrels, geese and other birds at any given time. It's nice to be able to teach the children what other types of birds and animals are by showing them the live version instead of in a book or on the computer screen.

Grew up coming to this park and although it has gone down over the years the city has put some money back into it and it is still enjoyable. Tons of open space, beautiful mature shade trees, playgrounds are meh...but kids tend to have fun regardless. Very diverse ethnicity wise which is great. Great place to work out, hang out or even take some family photos around the park.

I'm so happy they put in an All Seasons area in this dog park instead of completely closing all winter! It's small and my dogs don't love running on gravel but it's better than nothing for cooped up pups!

I LOVE this park. It is a great place to bring your dogs. There are always just enough dogs so that your dogs can play and run around but not too much to where it's over crowded. The people there are so nice. There are 2 different entrances and a big park that is split in half. People bring toys and there are so many tennis balls laying around to play with. It can get kinda muddy because of all the tread on the grass. Secured area with a fence all around and trash bags to pick up your dogs poop. There is a little water faucet to get dogs water. This park has everything you need. The only problem would be there is no small dog side and big dog side they all go together.

It is a large beautiful park with quite a few things to do. 1. Children's Playground with rubberized ground 2. Basketball Court 3. Handball Courts 4. Picnic Benches 5. Rec Center 6. Covered Picnic Areas 7. Pond for Fishing 8. Tennis Courts The neighbors take great pride in this park. Sadly you'll occasionally find guess littering. It is a great park for walking your dog. Caution: Stay away from the park after dark. Sadly this park has become dangerous recently. 2 Murders. :( One of the murders was later at night and another was around 5-6 pm. I hope the police and park work with the neighborhood watch to improve the safety in the beautiful park.

I love this park. I scored it low do to all the violence. Parents bring the kids here because it's a very Nice environment. Now and day you have to worry about these older kids & Gun play. It's sad but True.

I was there for a birthday party. The lodge was nice. The park was nice as well. The one thing that was a downfall is people don't need to bring their dogs to the park while there's many kids there.

Although it's not in the best area, we enjoy coming to the rec center. My daughter has tennis lessons here once a week and she absolutely loves it. The instructor is super sweet and does a great job with the kids. My daughter leaves disappointed every time, because it's over. The facility itself is clean and always has visible staff for anything you might need.

We walk our dogs here in the mornings. From our house it's about a 30 min walk door to door, and about 4000 steps. We run across others walking/running with dogs, and they say hi as we do too. 11/23/23 The park is currently having some work done construction staff are doing a good job of keeping as little muddy as possible. There are buildings I have not been inside, nor do I know what they are. Also, they have port-a-pottys in random places. Be aware of your surroundings at all times. Mainly, at late evenings / nights, there have been crimes committed here.

This park is very spacious. Lots of room to run around with kids and pets. There are plenty of trees for shade in the summer. There is also a basketball court,walking/ running loop, pond and shelter house.

Not 5 only because many of the parking spaces have faded so if its dark it can be hard to see. The portapotty is disgusting as well but thats more of a people are nasty issue. But its bad enough i have to cover my face and stand far away. Id rather go in my pants then sit on that seat though.

It has the potential to be a great community park. Everything is there already. But I have to be totally honest. You have to be careful. Just be aware of your surroundings. It is a great place though to teach little kids how to fish. Also a good place to walk your dog just keep it on a leash. I live in this area. I go to this park frequently.

Nice sized park with 2 walking paths, two playgrounds (one is for toddlers), a basketball court, a tennis court, 4 paddle ball courts, a fishing pond and an outdoor shelter. There's also an enclosed shelter available for renting for events and parties. Fields for sports and 3 parking lots. There's also a recreational center at this park. It's in a nice neighborhood also.

Sides rotate to ensure the fields have time to recover and stay grassy. They have a spicket for water. It is not always on be sure to bring your own water just incase. The biggest down fall is that the park is seasonal. Most of the owners are responsible.

  • 5/5 Sara J. 3 years ago on Google
Great social experience for your canine. Lovely fenced in area for your four legged friend to romp and play. Nice watering hole for them to refresh and a place for you to allow the freedom your dog needs to be themselves.

  • 5/5 mgcolman77 6 years ago on Google
Great dog park! They have two sides that they swap between regularly. Always a good mix of dogs there and have found other owners to be very responsible and easy going. There are water stations for the dogs (though you need to bring a bowl), a couple benches for the humans, and poop bags are available if you forget yours. There's usually plenty of street parking around the park.

They care way too much about their grass. It's a dog park... Grass is nice but if it's being used then the grass will be dug up and it will become mostly dirt. I'd rather use a dirt or gravel dog park than one that isn't open most of the year because it's regrowing patches of grass .

  • 4/5 Charles W. 4 years ago on Google
Nice dog park with potable water, grass, and shade. Be on the lookout for dog owners that think your dog is a punching bag for their dog and that there's a no blood, no foul waiver when you walk thru the gates.

My favorite dog park in Columbus! This park is medium sized and very open with some trees here and there for shading. In my many experiences here, the dogs and the owners all are so sweet and trained/knowledgeable.

    Good dog park...sometimes pretty crowded

  • 5/5 Kyle R. 5 years ago on Google
Definitely the best (fenced in) dog park in the area. Theres water available to everyone and they alternate both sides of the park so they can maintain nice grass. Sometimes it can get crowded (around 5pm) and the dogs get a little rowdy, but for the most part it's a chill park with nice puppies and people.

  • 4/5 David W. 5 years ago on Google

Very clean. They have a nice open shelter that can be rented, or 1st come 1st serve otherwise. Most of the time all rentals for the week are posted on Sunday. There is also a nice size building that can be rented, looks great for receptions and such. There is a beautiful pond that you can fish in, and a lot of activities in the community center. COVID Vaccine clinic every Friday through September 10, 2021 that gives you a $100 gift card when you get your vaccine. A couple nice playgrounds, basketball court and handball/ tennis practice courts.

Decent park. I like to walk for exercise here. I feel safe and the neighborhood makes for nice scenery during the walk. Quiet neighborhood. Several areas for the kids to play and lots of open space for gatherings, sports and flying kites. There's even a little area to fish, tennis courts, and racquetball courts. There's a community center at this park as well that has a workout room, great gymnastics room, lots of class offerings and a game room with air hockey.

Could use more patrols. If we can focus on Westgate and Big Run Parks we could cripple the crime in the area. All we need is community support and the cities support in condemning placing like Wedgewood apartments. Insane amounts of possibilities here....

The park is great. Swings and s different playgrounds to play on for the kids. I enjoy the fishing at the pond. Very large catfish and they have cleaned the park and pond up so it is a great place to fish and play. There is a track that runs all around the park for your walking adventures. Seems like a good place to relax and let the kids enjoy themselves. There are portapotys there in case you need them. People walk their dogs there all the time. There are several picnic areas and a shelter house for outside cooking. There is also a rentable hall there for special occasions. Hope this is helpful.
