I've been coming to this church off and on for 35 years. Always good people around and the building is always kept in great condition.

There is a traditional service at 9:45 am and a contemporary service at 11am in Sunday mornings. Open choir, bell choir, and contemporary band. Missions to help the community like foid/clothing and visits to elderly. Come join us!

Maize Manor UMC is a wonderful place to worship. Of course, I'm bias as now, after being a member for 40 years, I've joined the staff. I started looking for a church in 1982 and Maize was my first stop. I never left. The people are so open and friendly and made me feel comfortable and "at home" immediately. I feel like I'm with family when I'm there. Most importantly God's love is there!

I briefly visited Maize Manor United Methodist Church [at 3901 Maize Rd. in the "North Linden" neighborhood of Columbus] on 5-21-2023 while visiting Circle of Hope Church, a recently-formed United Methodist Church that currently meets in the Maize Manor United Methodist Church building. Maize Manor meets at 9:30 a.m. at the north end of the building; Circle of Hope meets at 10:30 a.m. at the south end of the building. The former Summit on 16th United Methodist Church [near The Ohio State University campus] [with which I had been "friends" during its entire history] and the former Maynard Ave. United Methodist Church [their building had been located about half a mile north of the Summit building] merged during Summer 2022 to create Circle of Hope; the merged church meets in a different part of town. I arrived early at Maize Manor United Methodist Church so that I would be able to explore the building for a while and then joined Circle of Hope for their Sunday-morning worship [that had been followed by a delicious catered meal]. One great feature of the Maize Manor United Methodist Church building is that the sanctuary is all of the way to the north end of the building and that a large room that certainly is that church's former sanctuary is all of the way to the south end of the building. Therefore, it is possible for both congregations to gather on Sunday mornings at nearly the same time without interfering with each other. One drawback to the way in which the Maize Manor building had been constructed is that it is impossible to travel between the two ends of the building without having to go up and down [or down and up] two half-flight flights of steps or by using a single-level sidewalk that is outside of the building.

I have been a member of Maize Manor for several years having transferred with my Mom from Powell UMC. I have found the church to be very welcoming and accepting of all people. When my Mom passed away, the outpouring of love and care from the Maize Manor congregation was so comforting. You won't find a more giving group of people who care about each other and giving back to the community. Throughout this pandemic we have been able to continue worshiping through the online platforms which has enabled us to remain strong in our faith and in contact with others. I love that Maize is so involved in the community from the Fresh produce Market and Clothes Closet to the Friday Night Live events which reach out to the Children.

Maize Manor UMC is a great place to worship ! It’s a small, family-friendly church with lots of activities/events for kids, community events: (such as Friday Night Live, Maize Manor Market/Clothing closet, Trunk or Treat), and great sermons that are down to earth, but highly rooted in scripture/theology (Scripture/Tradition/Reason). There’s a welcoming spirit at Maize, and there’s a place for everyone!

It a pretty place. But don't expect pastor Ryan to return your calls or anyone involved with the church.

I've attended Maize for most of my life. Maize is an open church where all are welcome. At Maize Manor UMC we are asked to "live like Jesus." I've seen Maize's mission at work through the youth programs, community events, Sunday services, and music. If you are looking for a welcoming church family I encourage you to check Maize out!

When I retired from active ministry 4 years ago, my wife and I had the chance to choose our own church for the first time in 35 years. As our son is the pastor at Maize Manor, we decided to give it a try. What we found when we arrived was that Maize Manor United Methodist is an active, friendly, mission-minded congregation. They really work hard to connect to the community, which is one thing we were looking for in a church. They are also open, caring, and receptive to all folks. I highly recommend Maize Manor UMC to anyone in need of a church home.
