I love this part. I played in this park when I was a kid and now I am bringing my children to the park. It’s clean and a lot of fun.

This park is absolutely stunning. It was sunny with areas of shade and places to sit and watch your kids play. Our granddaughter had the best time.

Nice shelter house with electrical power and a fireplace. Large , clean picnic tables. Sand volleyball, baseball field, basketball hoops, and a very nice playground for kids with a wide range of activities. Even fishing nearby (careful of the small dam!) Only PortaPotties when we were there, but restrooms open later in the season.

One of our favorite parks! There is something for kids of all ages to play with here. From the sandbox to the toddler train and back to the basketball courts, there is so much to see and do.

Great place for kids. Cars were broken into during our two play time with cousins. Damaged locks on four cars. All Honda Models.

Such a cute park. Found a picnic table under a tree, away from anyone else, for a nice take-out brunch on a beautiful day

    Had a great childhood here

  • 4/5 Bevin K. 1 year ago on Google
Great playground for older toddlers. Covered by a decent amount of shade and far away from the road. Public restrooms are well kept. I wish there were more activities for a 2 year old. The playground is for older kids, so the only area for little ones is the train

Great because they have shade for parents. Just remember to bring the bug spray!!

Missed some of the now obsolete park and playground items we used to bring my kids and the nieces and nephews to play on but the new stuff is pretty great too. Being that the kids have always referred to this as the choo choo train park I'm glad they kept the train anyway. Kind of a landmark I suppose.

This park has one of the best playgrounds in the area with something for a wide age range of kids. There are slides of various sizes, a large jungle gym area, sandbox and interactive game area. The park also has a train and separate play space for younger kids. In the summer you can find shows in the amphitheater, baseball fields and volleyball courts. There are also restroom facilities. The only downside is that the parking is quite a walk from the playground. Overall it's a great park, connected to the Westerville bike paths and shaded by mature trees.

Caters to all ages, very fun park for kids and adults. Restrooms are available, so is a picnic area. There's a basketball section, volleyball section, a decent amount of land to kick a ball, a sandpit and a nice trail for biking or walking.

  • 4/5 Nick L. 1 year ago on Google
Pretty nice place. Quite a few things to do. Good balance exercises for smaller kids (5-8 years old). Decent walking paths that are paved. They seem to use the rubber post consumer materials for their playground "mulch" - I've seen reports that some forms of this can be toxic or otherwise harmful if one has enough exposure to them (especially in warmer months when the sun breaks down the rubbers and such).

Playgrounds really fun and adventurous for the kids. There’s also a sandbox in the back that I didn’t see when we originally passed by. Each tree had a little plate in front of it as a memory dedicated to people and a cute train for the kids to play on

Fun for all ages. Tons of shade to help keep the kiddos cool on hot days!

  • 5/5 Carol S. 11 months ago on Google
Big playground spanning very young children needs to youth needs. Swings, slides, climbing structures, sand pit, volleyball, basketball, sports fields, and even an amphitheater. The light game is fun and promotes active, competitive play with mini contests. There is a pavilion that I believe can be reserved. It’s close to a path for biking, running, and walking, and a creek suitable for fishing; I’ve even seen some kayaking.

Great play place for kids 10 and under. There are also restrooms with running water, which is a welcome amenity. There are some large trees, but it still gets pretty sunny/warm on summer afternoons. We bring our own folding chairs so we can sit in the shade and watch our kids play/climb.

  • 5/5 Ross G. 7 months ago on Google
Our kids love it, plenty of things to climb, woods to explore and an amphitheater to perform in. I have many good memories here as a kid, too (especially the giant metal slide that's no longer there).

Huge park with a great playground. Also has a great sand area to play in, just bring your own sand toys.

Took the grandkids here and they loved it. I use to take my kids here and they loved it also. Very impressed with how it has improved over the years. Nothing bad to say about it.

Quaint little park with a good size playground for little ones to play. Convenient and plenty of space for all sorts of activities.

  • 5/5 Colin B. 3 years ago on Google
This is a beautiful park with lots of open space if you want to play a game or toss a frisbee, it also has a great playground that would be fun for kids of many ages. Very clean every time I've been here also.

Great park for a walk. Love the maps by the playgrounds. Would be great if a map showing connections to nearby parks is available. Loved it.

Not very good park for younger children of the age 1-4. There is a small area that's appropriate for younger children. 3 Baby swings and 4 adult swings. Train set play area for younger kids aged 1-4 years old. Big spider web attraction climb on jungle gym for bigger kids.

Great park. Plenty of green space. It is right beside a small dam that my kids loved. The park has a nice sand area for kids in the shade, so bring sand toys. The playground is large with a variety of spaces that are good for toddlers, preschoolers, elementary age kids. They have a spiderweb rope area to climb, train structures for toddlers, and swings for all. A shelter house is nearby as well.
