3/5 Sarah 5 years ago on Google
I
have
lived
here
for
over
a
year.
The
following
is
specific
info
(good
and
bad)
that
I
feel
you
should
know/would
want
to
know
about
Wexford
Lakes.
CONS:
*
Very
inefficient
heating
(electric,
not
gas).
Maybe
it’s
because
I
have
an
end
unit,
but
when
it’s
really
cold
outside,
my
heat
will
be
on
for
12
hours
and
will
still
only
get
to
63
or
65
instead
of
the
programmed
69.
I
had
to
go
on
the
AEP
budget
plan
because
my
bill
got
so
expensive.
On
the
upside,
I
barely
had
to
turn
on
my
AC
in
the
summer
if
I
kept
the
blinds
closed.
*
Geese
poop
and
dog
poop
is
everywhere.
People
are
pretty
inconsiderate
about
cleaning
up
after
their
pets.
*
Old
appliances
-
mediocre
dishwasher,
old
stove.
Just
kind
of
old
in
general
-
floorboards
coming
away
from
walls,
etc.
but
not
run-down.
Glass
doors
and
windows
desperately
need
replaced
or
resealed.
*
Bugs
(not
bedbugs)
-
I
want
to
first
say
that
to
their
credit,
Wexford
Lakes
has
addressed
these
concerns
willingly
each
time
I’ve
brought
them
up.
However,
I
think
because
this
is
an
aging,
first
floor
unit
that
is
ten
feet
from
a
pond
and
not
very
well
constructed,
there
has
been
a
truly
abnormal
amount
of
bugs
and
spiders
in
my
apartment.
I
actually
purchased
my
own
spray
in
addition
to
the
sprays
Wexford
Lakes
came
out
to
use,
and
thankfully,
about
six-seven
months
into
living
here,
the
(live)
bugs
finally
died
down
and
pretty
much
everything
I
see
now
seems
to
be
dead.
The
most
recent
exception
is
that
I
did
find
a
live
cricket
just
a
week
ago
in
my
living
room.
***My
issue
is
that
it
shouldn’t
be
so
easy
for
them
to
get
in
in
the
first
place.***
*
They’re
not
great
about
plowing
and
salting
the
neighborhood
roads,
probably
due
to
whatever
contractor
they
use.
Sometimes
it’s
hard
to
even
pull
out
onto
the
main
road
because
the
entrance/exit
is
completely
icy.
*
Random,
but
the
bathroom
fan
vent
doesn’t
seem
to
work,
and
because
the
fire
alarm
is
literally
right
outside
my
bathroom,
I
can’t
completely
open
the
bathroom
door
after
taking
a
shower
because
the
fire
alarm
will
go
off
(and
has).
Just
an
inconvenience.
*
Truck
highway
noise
can
be
pretty
loud.
*
I
saw
a
mouse
on
my
kitchen
counter
a
few
weeks
ago,
which
was
horrifying.
When
I
called
maintenance
about
it,
all
they
did
was
drop
off
a
pack
of
mouse
traps,
EVEN
THOUGH
the
office
worker
I
talked
to
said
they
would
come
in
and
set
the
traps.
If
I'm
paying
for
maintenance,
you
better
come
in
and
look
around/set
those
traps
yourself.
PROS:
*
Parking
-
parking
here
is
stress-free.
The
only
time
I’ve
had
issues
finding
a
spot
right
in
front
of
my
building
is
in
the
week
between
Christmas
and
New
Year’s.
*
Quiet
neighborhood,
at
least
the
part
I
live
in.
Lots
of
families
as
well
as
older
folks
who
have
lived
here
for
years.
Very
pretty
views
if
you
face
a
pond.
*
Nice
location.
If
you
live
in
one
of
the
apartment
complexes
that
are
even
a
few
feet
closer
to
the
Hilliard
Rome
intersection,
it
would
be
impossible
to
turn
left
out
of
your
neighborhood.
Thankfully,
Wexford
Lakes
is
positioned
at
the
perfect
spot
to
still
get
in
and
out
fairly
easily,
and
you
can
make
it
to
the
store
and
back
in
15
minutes.
*
Doesn’t
seem
to
be
a
lot
of
crime
compared
to
other
areas
(you
can
check
the
Columbus
police
crime
maps
to
prove
it)
*
Pretty
big
floor
plan.
*
Great
that
you
only
have
to
separately
pay
for
electric
and
not
water
or
sewage,
etc.
However,
as
mentioned
above,
the
electric
does
tend
to
get
pretty
expensive
if
you
don’t
go
on
the
budget
plan.
*
Maintenance
is
extremely
prompt,
often
addressing
your
work
order
the
same
or
next
day.
*
Decent
pool
with
lots
of
deck
chairs.
Overall,
this
is
an
average
place
to
live,
and
it’s
good
for
the
price
and
location
if
you
are
looking
for
something
that
isn’t
“luxury”
but
is
still
decent.
My
rent
was
under
800
the
entire
first
year
I
lived
here.
I
worked
downtown,
and
this
location
allowed
me
to
get
there
pretty
quickly
by
a
variety
of
routes.
