Loved our stay at this spacious campground! We had a really nice site on the full hook up look - D 48. Our site backed right up onto the lake and to our side was the channel/canal so we had a ton of privacy. The site was HUGE too. Our actual paved part was a bit short and we ended up having to back onto a gravely area to line our hookups right, kind of wish the site had been paved farther back. The campground itself is very nice, showers and laundry facilities located in various spots. We rented bikes one morning and just rode around the campground. You can also rent kayaks or canoes. They had a nice pool which we didn't use plus lots of spaces to dock a boat if you bring one. The lake itself is nice and we saw lots of people renting pontoon boats for the day, if we come back we would definitely do that since you can pull right up to lakeside restaurants with your boat and have some lunch or happy hour. I hated to leave after 2 nights since it was so peaceful!

One of our favorite campgrounds!! You can rent golf carts, canoes, kayaks, bikes or boats! Our favorite spot is in D, bit we've camped in A and don't mind the A area either. There's also playgrounds I do believe in each section, and in section A, atleast, there is a gaga pit.

Campground is clean and has campground loops that are wooded or more open. The pool appeared clean and I was shocked at how quiet it got after dark. The sad thing about this state park is the condition of the lake itself. It is almost solid weeds. I did read that the state is working on trying to clean it up and we saw what looked like harvesters out in the water working while we were there. Despite the condition of the lake I would definitely camp here again.

We had a great time. We went during the week so it was pretty quiet. We were right on the lake with a full hookup rv sight. The kids swam at the beach, rode their bikes, played on the playground, and LOVED the ice cream at the camp store!

Our travel trailer site (D70) was slightly tilted to the point that it was noticeable in the camper: an example- kitchen sink couldn't drain well because the water would pool in the corner of the sink. Once the people across from us packed up and left, the park was quite peaceful (they just had to blare a country station from their camper while sitting around their fireplace. Overall, our stay was quite enjoyable!

This is one of, if not the, nicest state park that I've visited in any state. Camping and commissary prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The park is kept nearly immaculate. It is also very pet friendly.

Was scouting for next years camping. Will be coming here, all sorts of space and things to do all near by. Excellent

This seems to be a hybrid of rv resort meets state campground. Our spacious full hookup site had a cement pad and the usual picnic table, fire ring and a view of the lake. The campground has a pool, camp store, beach and boat rentals. The CG is laid out with numerous cul de sacs so there is less traffic passing by but easy turn around. The free wi fi was an unexpected perk, although the service was spotty. Also surprising were the fixed sewer hoses at the dump station. Although we didn’t need to use them, they would make it easier to drain the tanks and go without having to take out and store our hoses. We would definitely return if we are in the area.
