We visited the Japanese Marketplace, included the Tensuke Market, Belle's Bakery, & J-Avenue on this visit. Always fun, always interesting, always fruitful and delicious. Returned trip May'22, went to the amazing Akai Hana gift a celebratory dinner, then a quick trip to Tensuke Market, picked up some Belle's breads, some sweets. Yummy. Find the time, go, explore the wonderful flavors of Japan!

Belle's Bakery is amazing (fresh daily French style pastries, some with a Japanese twist) and Tensuke Market has a great selection of Japanese foods. If you want prepared ready to eat Japanese foods they have good quality at decent prices but the selection shrinks dramatically by early afternoon. They replenish the sushi, but not other things like rice triangles - once the flavor you want runs out, it's gone for the day! I used to strongly recommend Tensuke for their sushi, but it's gotten expensive, they don't use real Wasabi, and the cuts of tuna they use, while still fresh, are just not as good as they used to be. There's also a Pepperidge Farm outlet store.

The Discover Shop is THE place to buy a wide variety of items that range from some new to VERY gently used. There is art, stemware, clothing, jewelry, books, some furniture, china...many things. Prices vary, but are not overpriced. The money taken in goes to help cancer survivors, a worthy cause. Helpful friendly staff, & items of donation are accepted, if in good, useable condition.

Excellent destination for foodies and thrift/antique shoppers. Magpie mkt, Penzeys, Belles Breads, Tensuke, Pepperidge Farm Outlet...all fantastic! Not sute why 3 or maybe 4 hair=/nail salons are needed in one strip mall though...

Literally the upper Arlington Columbus open air mall of diversity. The customers and types of merchant offerings as diverse as it gets.ALSO noteworthy is the Discovery shop thrift store operated by American cancer society. Don't Miss. Bakeries salons Japanese community center..something for everyone.

Just love Belle Japanese Bakery! The baked goods are so fresh and such a variety! There is something for everyone including sandwiches! Great place to stop for lunch! The Kenny Centre has a variety of shopping and ample parking including handicap. Easy to access from both main roads.

I went to Staples yesterday to fax a document. It cost $2.10 a page to fax the document, locally. I thought it used to cost a dollar a page. Too pricey for me

A wonderful shopping mall with a lot of great stores. You can get all of your Japanese grocery items from Tensuke and fresh sushi.

The place to be if you're looking for a south east Asian business, particularly Japanese although there are a couple of Chinese businesses as well. The mall also has some nice small green spaces tucked in little pockets. It gets crazy busy on the weekends so plan accordingly. There is also a really cool antique/thrift store and some salons.

This place should be considered a hidden gem πŸ’Ž. It has Milk Tea, SubWay, a Japanese store with cool cat things and a lot more, and there is also a nice Japanese Bakery that serves cake and ice cream. Not to mention their is a Ramen Restaurant there and an Japanese Carryout. There are many places there worth visiting.

Walked the plaza after eating a big meal at tensuke express. It was clean and not crowded there. Did checkout the bakery...it was excellent as usual. Had their vanilla and matcha twist, tasted awesome 😍 Will definitely be back.

Nice, non for profit, second hand store that donates their proceedings to the American Cancer Society. And a great Oriental market with an amazing Japanese Bakery!

Lots of fun stuff you can do. Japanese grocery store, noodle restaurant. Sushi restaurant, Japanese bakery and Japanese souvenir store. If you love Japan but can't afford a 1000k flight ticket to travel there, this is a great place to get a slice of Japan.

This was a big surprise for me! I've lived around Columbus for 15 years and never knew that this center existed. It was good to find the Japanese grocery store, restaurant, etc. I recommend going there if you want to find something outside the usual American mainstream.

I've been going here ever since I was young and love it so much. It's really a big part of my life. I love showing people this part of my life because it's such a wonderful place to go. People are normally so respectful and it's usually quiet. I love it.

I love this place. Living in lower Ohio, we take hours to get here, yet I have never doubted coming here. J Avenue has a lot of cool stuff, and Tensuke has some authentic, delicious Japanese food. Good for Asians and non-asians alike. Good experience for all ages.

One of my all time favorite shops/shopping centers. Love the staff at the market, the bakery is wonderful, and I love the little knickknack/stationary store. Plus there's a Boba place. 100/10

The 'Kung Fu tea' shop has all kinds of Boba tea varieties and is pretty enjoyable shop overall with 'beckoning cat' decoration. The amount of boba pearls in the drinks are really plentiful and with every sip you get at least 1 tapioca (boba) pearl. Avg drink cost if $7 I think. The service is pretty quick even in a crowded situation.

The place is not bad. They could explain the virtual wait line better. They will text you right before your number is called so you don't have to stand outside to hear when your number is called. Wish they would have explained that before hand.

I would go here all the time if I lived closer. There is a nice array of Japanese stores and restaurants, including a food market, toy/novelty store, and bakery. It made for a really fun date to wander around and try a few things.
