This
Kroger
is
extremely
disappointing.
Were
it
not
for
the
exceptional
quality
of
the
products
produced
in
store
(the
bakery,
deli,
florist,
butcher,
and
seafood
are
excellent),
this
review
would,
instead,
be
a
single
star.
The
prices
of
goods
are
frequently
increased
(and
substantially
so),
with
a
tag
that
says,
"Locked
in
Low
Price."
However,
I
understand
that
is
a
problem
company
wide.
The
specific
problems
I
have
at
this
location
are
as
follows:
1.
They
simply
don't
employ
enough
cashiers.
This
problem
is
consistent
at
all
times
of
day.
2.
The
early-morning
staff
is
always
rude,
and
despite
the
radio
announcement
announcing
every
five
minutes
that
all
vendors
and
staff
must
wear
facial
coverings,
I
counted
at
least
12
staff
and
vendors,on
5
different
occasions
who
were
not,
and
three
of
them
were
coughing.
There
is
a
blatant
disregard
among
many
of
the
morning
staff
and
vendors
for
company
policy
and
customers.
3.
The
layout
of
this
store
simply
does
not
support
the
customer
to
staff
ratio,
and
especially
in
the
afternoon,
when
the
checkout
lines
stretch
up
the
isles
for
two
of
the
available
lanes.
4.
The
store
clearly
pushes
the
customers
toward
self-checkout
lanes
at
either
end
of
the
cashier
isles,
but
the
self-service
systems
frequently
crash,
are
not
designed
for
large
purchases,
and
if
set
to
Spanish,
will
frequently
call
for
employee
assistance
at
times
where
the
same
does
not
happen
when
using
English.
I
cannot
recommend
this
location
if
you
are
able
to
travel
elsewhere.
