Nice clean mall that isn’t full of vacant stores. Big food court

This mall is dated. Lacks many things a thriving mall has. No bust at all. Many empty shops. Some closed shops. If you want to go walk and get your steps in, good place. If you want to shop and buy things, probably not.

Not good at all. There is lots of business went out of business. Lots of empty store use to be. It said. I remember back in the 90 this mall use to be booming busy. Today is dead. To many people order thing on line That take away fun in the mall.

    - this mall is kind of slowly dying honestly. Not too many stores that are really worth checking out, nor is the food court worth anything either. - staff at the stores are hit or miss with being friendly. - overall definitely better than river valley mall but this one is also slowly dying out as well.

Indian Mound Mall has followed the pathway of most malls. It's incredibly dated and has seen much better days. I'd been coming here for nearer to thirty years, and it looks much like it did then, renovation wise. The weekend crowds and groups of teenagers that flocked its corridors have long since grown and moved on, left to bare bone crowds doing their mall walks, and mostly home shops rather than big merchandisers. It's a step up from most malls that are lined with vacancies, however. The food court is nearly non-existent, and the pizza place within isn't all that great. Still, surrounded in an area with other great shopping options, places to eat, and some corporate names still choosing to remain, walking into the mall for a brisk window shop, or an off chance they may have what you're looking for, still holds appeal. I've seen better, but I've also seen worse.

Was surprised how nice the place was. The carpet is very old but all of the stores were perfectly clean and it had plenty of people around. Lots of neat collectible stores that you don't typically see in a mall.

Actually, I'm not sure what's going on with the mall these days as I haven't been there in over two years. I drove by and looked in the windows at ten minutes till nine on a Saturday night. I'm afraid that the place may permanently close by the way things are looking. With all of the restrictions of this Covid thing and the damage done to the economy over the unnecessary panic, I'm afraid the mall might be done. But I hope that's not the case. It was a happening place thirty years ago. Retail has changed and I can't see things going back to the way they used to be anytime soon. I wish them well.

I was in the cast of Matilda Jr at Hullabaloo and it was awesome. I also loved the pizza place there too. So many amazing shops and food places there to explore. I totally recommend going there to shop or see a movie. Thank you for an amazing mall in Ohio! ❤️

The fact that the mall closes at 7pm everyday is a little bit ridiculous. Was going to do some browsing while waiting on our 7:30 movie but apparently that’s not a thing anymore 🤦🏻‍♀️

Its a nice mall that is a change up from my local mall. Indian mound mall has the usual shops with Addition to a trampoline park called Altitude and Massey's pizza and wings. A candy shop and it has Hullabaloo performing theatre

My wife and I went to see the movie “Sound of Freedom”. It was very good, sad and disturbing. It’s heartbreaking to think that KIDS are trafficked and abused in such a manner. Also, the theater was clean and the staff we encountered were pleasant and friendly.

I give this 4 stars only because it's stores aren't always open and it looks like it's slowly becoming another mall ready to close. It's too bad because the mall is a great little mall and still is kept clean. There's still potential for this location to prosper if able to get in some more stores....but.....we know how that goes these days.

One of my favorite malls. It may not be big but has everything you need. Great place to get out for a couple hours. It has an indoor gym, pizza place, food court, clothing stores, Claire’s etc.

This mall is awful. As someone who has lived in this area long enough to know what it was like and what it’s like now. No thanks. It’s like a flea market. Bath and Body Works and Ulta are about the only two stores here that I shop and both of them are not top notch. Kinda messy and unorganized. And not opening till 11am? Time to shut it down or get better management.

It would be really nice if security would keep older kids out of the little kids play area! Also need to tell parents/ grandparents that they can’t have older children in the play area watching younger kids/siblings, they were also playing in there even though they were very much older than the age group thats meant for the area. My little kids were in the play area and all of a sudden these tall girls start running around and pushing their way into the tree slide. There’s a 44” height limit for a reason. I tried to call the mall but it rang busy! This is the second time this has happened!

I'm only leaving a five star review because that's all the owners seem to give a reply to and to make sure this gets posted. I grew up basically living at this mall and I'm so sad to see the shape it's in. I'm talking I went with my great uncle back in the day when he was ine of the "Mall walkers" they had jackets made for the group and everything. It was great back then, food court was full, stores were full and it was the place to go. Now this place charges so much for rent they can't keep anyone there, I guess their greed won over common sense. Rent more stores for less and you still get make more but the people that own this place don't seem to care about that or continuing to keep this once thriving mall as a a community meeting place. I mean think about all the events they could host and actually used to. Letting the food court become so empty is probably the biggest downfall. Think about it if you have families there they are going to get hungry, if they have to leave to eat they aren't going to come back! That sets up a very inconvenient situation for anyone who may otherwise spend more time there.

This mall doesn't have a bunch of stores, but it does have a few of the staple mall stores such as Bath and Body Works and Spencer's. The floor is carpet, which is a nice concept. Not many food choices though. It has definitely changed since I was kid.

Earlier today I went into the Emporium to buy a few incense and some hairbands with my friend. I continued to be followed around by the cashier basically accused of stealing. She then continued to ask to take my items I was going to purchase from me. Even after I said no I don’t want you to take my purchases up to the register she continued to ask in a really rude way too. I had bags from previous stores as well so I don’t really see why I should have even been on the stealer radar for her to begin with. I personally think it was very unprofessional and feel very disrespected. Really disappointed especially because it was the Emporium. The employees name was Mary by the way.

Was barren for a while even before the pandemic. It has turned into a very nice environment nice to see children and teenagers having a place to lounge. The food is great(Try Oxb's) The mall is still a little empty with stores but some new ones are opening soon that look promising.

Went to the movie theater with my son to see Spider Man. Movie theater was very clean even the bathroom was kept up. Still keeping in mind of COVID, spacing was perfect and the theater was not crowded. I haven't been in a theater for years. I loved the experience and plan to make this my movie house in the future.

I came here with my friend and we got Ox-bs and then did some shopping. It was fun. Seems like they are opening up restaurants again which is really nice. My only issue is that there isnt really anything that caters to a younger generation or draws you in. Like we went there solely for Ox-bs. I often get auntie annes but theres nothing to do really as a teenager

I don't come here as often as I used to. Not as many stores as there used to be, no food to come much on while you shop, and just not as good as it used to be. Going to the mall isn't what it used to be.

Love that the Mall is finally coming back alive again after being hit so had due to COVID-19. So very many events & new stores popping up just in time for the Holidays. Would Love to see an improvement with better kid friendly food court restaurants. I miss Chinese at the food court. Love the children play area. What really brings me in several times a week is the Trampoline Park. Its Fantastic! Drop the kids off & shop in peace at my Favorite stores while they have fun. I Love the new store called "Cricket" Great little shop for New & Gently used items at incredible prices. Owner & Employees are Great people & donate towards a Children's Charity. Also visit the Emporium Crystal Stone Store frequently. So many unique mystical one of a kind items. Can't leave out Spencer's either. Lots of planned events for children of all ages has been a Great draw. The Mall is making a comeback! Welcome Back to Indian Mound Mall!

Nothing wrong with this mall that I can think of. They do have a family bathroom for complete privacy. I'm not much of a shopper but checking out Spencer's and going to the movies is fun.

I love the mall since I was a little kid, but I’m going to say this some of the stores in there are closed or not really interested but the one thing I will say that really made me kind of sad was today my friends and I went to the mall, and of course, as my friend and I decided to be funny and kind of chase each other. Of course, an officer stopped us, and the officer told us that. we were not allowed to run in the mall and that we had to leave and come back tomorrow of course my friends and I find it very wrong that it is where we had to leave. We think it should have been where we were allowed to stay in the mall, but not to run at least of course the officer told us to look at the Rule sign at the front, which my friends was reading it and didn’t see anything about running. There are kids who run all the time but they don’t get stopped so I don’t understand why we would get stopped but the mall needs to be more active again I am possibly have a different time of closing

So many stores are closed, most of the food places have vacated. No customers. Play area is disgustingly dirty and teens often hang out in there for some unknown reason. A lot of the games in the arcade are out of order. Lost money in the kid's rides. Even the handicapped door openers don't work. I'm sure at one time it was the place to be but at this point all they can do is close.

  • 3/5 Jessica L. 10 months ago on Google
Decent mall. Clean, but most of the stores were closed and they didn't have a huge selection of interesting stores, just your standard mall stores like Bath and Body Works and Spencers. They did have a nice Pop figure place and the lady there was super friendly and nice, but other than that this mall was pretty lackluster.

  • 5/5 Ed R. 1 year ago on Google
There are many new shops that are interesting. New policies towards lease agreements has encouraged businesses to fill in and make the mall more lively. Some do have various open policies but if you like a particular shop, it's not a problem. I know Sundays and Mondays I don't go to Tech4all cuz that's his closed days.

  • 3/5 Evanmb x. 9 months ago on Google
A lot of stores closed at 6. Security guard was closing off sections of the mall really early. He spoke to one group about how to get out. Didn't speak to us.

Thank you for replying Indian Mound Mall. . . what can be done better? . . . well - it would be nicer if more stores filled the empty spaces. . . It would be nice if the stores that ARE there were open the same hours as the mall. We drove down on a monday to go to one particular store . . and they're not open on mondays i guess. I wish there were more vendors in the food court. Its just like, sadly, as many malls these days - most of it is empty.

This place is a shell of its former self, but malls like this usually are. I've seen it decline rapidly over the years. Kinda just a ghost mall and a remnant of days past. Another one bites the dust I guess.

In our dying storefront culture this place is still giving it all. Lost a lot of amenities and ver the years but has some awesome locally owned businesses and great for the holiday season

  • 3/5 Angela W. 3 years ago on Google
Corona or no Corona, the NON- food- food court could be put to use with holiday festivities or free crafting, even giving the public the chance to sell their homemade food items. Let the suggestions begin & then public vote on for their favorite.

Parking is available all around the mall. Services offered in the mall provide everyone something to smile about making a welcome environment. We had a wonderful time enjoying the massage chairs and shopping at the various shops. I gave the mall five stars and plan to return in the near future.

Drove 35 mins to go to their Frozen themed scavenger hunt that they hosted, and it did not disappoint. We got to walk all around the mall looking for prizes and browsing the stores. My kids LOVED it and honestly a genius way to get people into their shops. Biggest downfall is probably lack of restaurants but that's not what we came for. Visit Bambi's Farm Market, they have all the goodies!!

Since the day this establishment opened I've been going into it. As a child with my parents, to a teen with my friends, I used to work in a few of the different stores inside, to now as a parent with my children we have always loved going to the mall. But it has definitely gone downhill in the past 20 years. It still has some great stores inside, and I know they are trying to bring in more people. I absolutely love going in and getting a massage on the fly! And I think the occasional vendors set up inside is a great idea as well! Hopefully we can see an increase in great stores and see this Mall thrive once more!

We were there to go to the calendar place as their sale is always filled with good stuff. We decided to walk around a bit and happened into the popcorn/candy shop. Had a great conversation with the owner and got some delicious popcorn. Then we went to the pretzel place and got an order of hot soft pretzel bites with cheese sauce. It was very good. We then walked around to work off the popcorn and the pretzels. Very fun experience. Everyone was happy and pleasant.

I was in a situation I was at a store and I happened to see McDonald's and the little strip mall in Monaca or Beaver yeah and order a medium vanilla iced coffee. And then one time they charge you one thing and then the next time you go again and they charge you something else are they charging you the right price I don't know it's kind of sketchy if you're going to raise the prices you ought to put it outside saying our prices went up a little bit it's hard trying to dig up the change when you think it's still the same way and it's not. Thank you and God bless

Hello!! I am one of the many mall walkers and I found out this morning 12/29/23 that starting the first of the year (2024) they will NOT be opening the mall up until 10:55 for us. Because we don’t contribute to the businesses within the mall!! If you want business then you NEED to be open when people can come in and shop!! People that work can’t necessarily get in until about the time you are closing. Unless you do it on Saturday and Sunday. Not everyone can make in during your CRAZY business hours. I have been a resident of licking county for my entire life. If you want to survive this day and age you need to be considerate of your customers for tenants and NOT be like you are doing. Also I have heard a lot of complaints about how trashy the facility looks inside and that’s not to mention the outside. There is trash terribly bad out and around the old sears store. LETS TAKE SOME PRIDE INTO WHAT WE HAVE AND MAKE IT LOOK GOOD AGAIN!!
