Portal park is NOT the way to the skating drain pipe shown in the picture. The picture is a google maps misunderstanding. It is ,however next to it.Simply park on the right hand side(south side) of Lucky's Market. You will see a row of spaces across from theirs. Then walk straight down(east) and you will see it.There will be a path on your right that is steep. You don't have to take it,just go staight and you will get there. Back in the day, when we went to North High we owned that ravine! No one else would ever venture down there! It's great to see it become a community spot!

This is a wonderful spot in cbus. Great for photos of cosplay, music groups, queer families, and your punk friends. Not great for pets, kids, and nice shoes. It's known as the blood bowl or the pit of hell to locals. If you plan to go be respectful of others and their space. Don't overcrowd and respect the businesses around the space. The tunnel itself fills with water that can get deep after rainfall. Check the recent weather and day of the week for an optimal time to go.

Came here to visit the legendary Gates Of Hell. Graffiti fill but artistic drainage area for local stream.

This place is so cool. You can walk all the way through the tunnel to the other side. I like to go get some pizza slices from luckys markets and come down here to eat. Also love to take pictures down here lol

It’s a mess to go through! Hard to climb and poor lighting it would be nice to have some form or indicator better than what we found there to walk to. No distinct entrance or exit... or handrail to climb through the rocks. Dangerous for those not ready to do the climb or wearing poor foot wear. Poor lighting to see all the amazing graffiti art- wish this could be lit up some how for more people to see.

The drainage pipe is not part of the park. The drainage pipe can be very dangerous and no kids should be taken. Me and my friends almost died at the pipe some years ago after it rained, water is released from another area and very quickly comes without warning (though you will hear clicking sounds 20 seconds or so before the water is released). Do not go here if it's been raining.

Pictures don't quite do it justice because it's an evolving experience. If you intend to journey through the portal be prepared to get at least your feet wet. It's dark but you can change that if you're prepared.

This is a lovely park that is clean and a nice place for anyone to sit and relax. Every Wednesday at noon there is a Food Not Bombs food giveaway for anyone. No questions asked.

This can be such a pretty park. Unfortunately it’s over run too often by the transient population. While my heart breaks for the homeless, I have recently seen quite a bit of drug use going on. Even at one point calling an ambulance for an overdose. My son walks through here daily coming home from school. Luckily, the homeless don’t really bother him like I’ve seen them harass others.

This is a little fun place and I go here since it's a Pokemon Go gym where I meet fellow Pokemon Go players like m.

A old highschool ritual was to go in the tunnel at night. Sometimes there's homeless or druggies but always a good time. Every couple of months the graffiti on the opening changes.

This is not a park.... It's a water shed. It runs under High St to the Olentangy River. There is a small park at the corner of Arcadia and High called portal park but this photo is of what we called the "blood bowl" growing up here.

Well. We wanted to visit the "gates of hell" but we saw a group of shady looking people nearby. Being two females, we felt unsafe. You had to walk down a pathway. If it was closer to the public area, we may have gone closer

Actually called Portal park. A nice little spot to sit and rest. There is a gym for Pokemon go players and Tim Hortons is adjacent.

Not really much of a park other than having a Tim Horton's and Luckys grocery next to it. The only other good thing about it is that it's a Pokemon gym stop. You'll frequently see people standing around with their phones out tapping away doing a pokemon raid.

A Pokemon Go EX raid gym with easy parking keeps me coming back.

Also known as Clintonville park on Columbus.gov Rec & Parks website. This is a mini park that includes some sitting areas. It does not include the ravine. That is more behind parking lots of Tim Horton's/Lucky's Market and is not part of the park.

It's always cool down there and the nature it a great respite from the hustle and bustle. Seems like you're suddenly in a forest. Also a great place to play some Pokemon Go.

Absolutely not a park. These pictures are of the sewage system behind the park which is clearly marked.
