πŸ‘πŸ‘ I really like the location as it's quiet and quaint. There's a lot of trails around the area that it seems like it'll be fun to use with bikes or walking. The staff seemed kind and answered all my questions. People often mention park, area, walking, Whitehall, parking, trails, golf, trash, YMCA, Beautiful,

This is a great park for fishing and family fun. The only issue is everytime I visit here the trash bins are overflowing, the picnic tables are disgusting. Birthday parties should be required to take their trash with them or be charged for the trash they leave behind. I would say visit with caution because it has become nasty. 8-18-22 The park was being cleaned up on my visit today. Trash cans were emptied, and bathrooms were in good shape.

The fall colors are lovely !!! (10/21) they have meadow and riparian forest trails, disc golf and a paved gratitude mile loop with messages on signs. The paved area is in the sun along side meadow and forest. Also lots of open space for games and a shelter.

The Whitehall Community Park YMCA just opened, and it is beautiful! This new Y has an indoor soccer field, brand new state-of-the-art exercise equipment, child care, after-school programming and a demo kitchen. Classes include zumba, barre, body pump, vinyasa yoga, stretching, interval training, strength training, silver sneakers, meditation and hip hop line dancing. The spin classes are located by a window wall overlooking trees and grass. There are lockers, showers, lounges and musical instruments, and free coffee till 2 p.m. I was very impressed!

Large park..Lower section has over 1.5 miles of trails with no trash cans to dispose of trash, pet waste..Have plenty of signs about park..But not one sign about littering. How can we take care of park? If we cant throw trash in a can..Come on Whitehall, put some trash cans on the trails.See photos,No trash cans in sight.

Nice! I remember going here 50 years ago for family reunions. My children frequently spent time exploring the creek behind the park too. We would fish, sled, watched a couple weddings, cook out etc but now the picnic areas are gone πŸ₯²

The Whitehall Community Park is undergoing a major remodeling with new added access to the lower area, new playground equipment and a future planned YMCA. Other amenities may include canoe access to the creek, walking trails and more. The park has plenty of parking and is easily accessed off Hamilton Road. Another future plan is to expand the current disc golf course to an 18 hole course with emphasis to cater to all skill levels.

Park seems to have had a lot of new structure and roads. Looks really nice. I did not get pad the parking lot, just did a drive by. Gazebos near the water, Lots of wildlife... Nice way to kill time waiting for a flight.

The construction does not make the disc golf experience that fun.

As far as parking lots go, this one is excellent. It has an entrance, parking spots, and an exit. Sometimes, if you are there at the right time, the Columbus Cars and Coffee event is going on and really cool cars (like mine) are parked there. Highly recommended!

The park is under construction. Nobody is there except one policeman. They have the main gate chained shut. Pay a fortune in taxes This is what you get. This is why all these people weigh 500 pounds. They don't have to close the whole park so they can work on part of it.

A small but lovely public green space that spreads over several acres. The park is divided into two parts, one of which is not visible from the road. There is a small parking lot adjacent to the Whitehall YMCA. From there, visitors can proceed down the staircase or the paved asphalt slope to the lower portion of the park. At the bottom of the hill is another small parking lot. The park is a quiet oasis with paved walking trails that loop and crisscross through the park. A couple of trail offshoots lead to peeks of the Big Walnut Creek. Probably the best feature is the wildflower gardens in the center of the green space that stand over 5 feet high in mid-summer. On a breezy day you get a beautiful flowery fragrance as you walk. The park is surrounded by thick woods that shade much of the walking trail.

Well kept. Tee signs could be better marked as you're using the front 9 tees for the back 9 as well. Different color basket rims for each 9. Fairly busy.

This is the best park in Whitehall. You get to see trains and planes going by. There's a creek, trails, and playgrounds. It's perfect for the little ones.

This place has been doing a major upgrade. The Parks and Recreational people are great, from my experience. Cool place to walk, play Frisby golf, or hang out with the kids. There is plenty of parking as well. Whitehall is upping it's game with this park.

One of my favorite parks in the area. There are bicycle trails that run along the river as well as hiking trails as well. The beautiful wild flowers are adjacent to the walking trail. There are also basins along the river where you can gain access. This spit is pretty sweet..I plan on frequently visiting because the wonderful scenery makes for a great area of exploration.

It has been a nice park as long as I can remember. Whitehall had done a great job maintaining the area. They have a new YMCA there that I wasn't aware of. Large playground (closed due to covid-19) and a lot of shade around. It's a nice place to come and enjoy a workout and or relax.

A beautiful well maintained park. Plenty of parking. Beautiful YMCA, playground and walking path on top. Stunning wildflower area, parking and natural area that goes along Big Walnut creek. Great spot to unwind from a hectic day.

I love this park! Frisbee golf area, beautiful flower field, a rest area, a play gym for kids and to top it off they are opening a YMCA at the park. It might not be for everyone but I'm a big fan. One thing is I would avoid at dark, seriously!

It is very beautiful and simplistic. There are 2 playground with a decent amount of playground equipment. Some examples are slides, sea-saw, swings, a climbing tower, and a merry-go-round. The park also has a few shelters. The only thing missing are benches. After an hour my knees get tired so my son and I have to leave. If there was somewhere I could sit we could stay longer.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ the BEST disc golf course around here. Proudly my home course, has been for years. Always will be my favorite. Nice size course. Watch out for the pond hole, it'll snatch your discs and you'll never see them again. Lol. Best kept secret. Awesome views. Such a fun course. Great for hiking and discing...
