Blues Creek Park

Park

👍 Loved this quiet trail, less than 2miles total. Wish some paths are wider. There are several picnic tables, restroom and a snow sledding hill, and small play ground.

A beautiful park that has almost all of the amenities that you would want at a park.

great area for a picnic or a stroll with the dog, neither of which we had in the plans today. the playground was pretty good, but my 6-9yo kids were too big for it. Their letterbox page was poorly written, so we wandered around for a while before reading far enough along to know where to start (other parks began with an obvious sign saying "clue #1") so the whole thing was frustrating. The path was such that you couldn't really see into the woods at all, and was heavily lined with poison ivy so letting dogs do much sniffing wouldn't really be an option. Overall, it seemed great for nature preservation, which obviously is the entire point of the place, but not a great place for humans to interact with nature.

Beautiful park the paths are well maintained, enjoyed the prairie flowers even though they are turning brown the wildlife is getting seeds and nature turning to winter.

Very nice park and good walking trails except no trails are marked. We had to get our phone out to help find our way back to car.
