Nice modernly decorated and stylish cafe. Their cinnamon rolls are memorable! Nice and friendly service from all the staff! Their coffee is an eye opener. Their variety of pastries are deliciously hypnotizing!

I visited Columbus for the weekend and stumbled upon this cafe by complete chance. I was blown away! Their drinks were delicious but their pastries? Out of this world. Omg so good. I’m obsessed with the tomato pastry in particular. That thing is to die for. I’m absolutely coming back the next time I’m in Columbus!

I use to love coming here, but I don’t think I will be back any time soon. I love the pastries, but the lady at the register was rude. I went there today with my 4 year old and he had to use the bathroom. I politely asked her if he could use it while I waited on my food. She responded very rudely and said no.... That’s fine that the bathrooms are off limits, but she could’ve been more polite about it. People around were looking at her like “wow”. The way she talked to me was very degrading. I canceled my sandwich and asked for my money and tip to be refunded. Customer service is everything. The other people that were working were very nice though.

Fox in the Snow never disappoints! Had a warm breakfast and coffee and got pasties to go. You know it’s good when the line is started outside before 8am.

This cafe is so cute! All of the lattes are hand crafted and you can tell they put a lot of time into perfecting them. They have just about ever morning pastry you can think of (along with others you didn't even know existed). The staff is super helpful in navigating the menu and giving recommendations. My only critique is that there isn't a lot of room for a queuing line, but the cashier took orders fast.

This place is incredible! Such a cute, bright atmosphere. The coffee and chais are great, and their baked goods are out of this world! I highly recommend the breakfast sandwich as well. If you come on the weekend, be prepared to stand in a line. But don’t worry- it moves fast and it is well worth it!

Definitely late to the game here but I basically gotta echo what all the other reviewers are saying. Really nice cafe with that modern/chill vibe serving coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. My bro and enjoyed the egg sandwich with bacon - crispy bread complimented by that soft gloriously prepared egg. If it weren’t for the late afternoon I would have probably snagged a coffee and pastry as well. I’m also interested in their fox in the snow apparel, maybe will consider it next time. Overall 5/5. Good prospective date spot too.

Amazing pastries, and a great atmosphere. Blueberry galette and ham baguette are my go to. At the beginning of quarantine they released a few of their recipes for people to try at home which was a solid 10/10 move. My wife made the biscuits and cinnamon rolls, and they were fantastic, and definitely worth giving a try yourself.

Don’t miss the opportunity to go to this AMAZING cafe! Hands down one of the best pastry and coffee cafes I have ever been to👍🏻👍🏻 The coffee is piping hot and perfectly percolated ☕️ And the pastries…oh the pastries!!! We tried the coffee cake, blueberry galette and the raspberry filled biscuit. The cream on top the flaky, sugared, galette crust was beautifully textured and perfectly creamy, not too sweet…the fresh blueberries pull it all together. Take your time savoring every bite of this beautiful creation! I love a perfectly balanced crème pastry and this is it!!! Now onto the raspberry biscuit…I must preface this review by saying that living in the south, I got to know biscuits very well, hell, I even took a biscuit 101 class at the famed A Southern Season, where were taught different “biscuitology”🤣🤣 The Fox 🦊 gets my vote of “most delicious cafe item to have with coffee” of ALL TIME! No joke, folks! This biscuit has perfect, hearty texture with, (my goodness!), layers you can peel apart. If that’s not enough to get you going, this beautiful, buttery creation has thee most lovely, tart raspberry preserve, perfectly placed in the middle, and my favorite part, salted top (when you see this biscuit behind the glass you may be fooled thinking it is topped with sugar 😉😉)!!! This biscuit is perfectly baked with a delicately, crisp top and bottom! I marveled at how high the biscuits were piled on display, but now I know it’s because that pile most be easily gone by mid-morning! If you have a meeting, or special occasion breakfast gathering, be the hit of the group by bringing a dozen of these babies!!! 🙌🏻 Lastly, the coffee cake…honestly speaking, the coffee cake was my least favorite, but it is a lovely compliment to the robust coffee, not too sweet and dense, moist texture . I prefer a good New York style coffee cake, thus my 5 star rating…I do think it’s just a matter of preference😊 To say I loved my experience at The Fox is an understatement…the vibe and decor is lively and modern. And the staff was very friendly…when we mentioned we were from out of town, one staff members went so far to suggest great local restaurants for dinner! Come to think of it. If it wasn’t for that particular staff member who recommended the biscuit I would’ve never had it!! So, kudos, lovely person😍 We will return here every time we are in Columbus🙌🏻🙌🏻🦊🦊

Absolutely incredible pastries and a delicious egg sandwich! It may just be the best breakfast sandwich I have had in Columbus so far. The fast and super friendly service topped it off. This is a fantastic spot and I cannot wait to come back regularly!

The service here was excellent. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. The pastries are delicious and fresh. The espresso was pulled well and the milk was poured expertly. This is a great spot to hangout on a cold day.

The best part about fox in the snow is there egg sandwiches. The egg is fluffy and big. The breading is great tasting. I would recommend it to anybody in the area. I've also had their cinnamon roll, which is also good but pretty standard. They did put a ton of cream cheese on there. The carrot cake is good too, it's not the sweetest carrot cake I've had, so it's good if you aren't into sweet carrot cake. Their coffees are good as well. I'd recommend fox in the snow Cafe to anyone that needs a morning pick me up. I'll definitely be going back.

We visited this location twice during our stay in Columbus. This locations gets fairly busy on the weekend, but the surrounding neighborhoods have plenty of street parking. We both ordered the cold brews, which were strong, but delicious. The second time we ordered a double espresso and an egg sandwich. The fluffy egg on the sandwich was absolutely delicious.

We love Fox in the Snow! Even if they’re busy there’s still such quick, friendly service. Not to mention the coffee and food are all incredible! The egg sandwich is popular for a reason, 100% recommend!

Amazing pastries, great coffee (though I wish they would have more flavors for lattes, they have a house made vanilla that's very good), and an awesome atmosphere. Highly recommend. And I love that they leave water out on the tables for you to self serve. Had the carrot cake (oh my gawd good), egg sandwich (fantastic horse radish sauce and arugula, which I don't usually like), and a vanilla latte in the picture.

The egg sandwich is their signature dish, and it was amazing. How do they get those eggs so fluffy!? The espresso was great too, but the pour over was even better. Very complex flavor. Pastries here are always great!

A Columbus gem! Make sure to arrive with plenty of time to spare. Fox in the Snow is very busy throughout all times of the day. Pastries are delicious and there are plenty of options to choose from. Coffee is pretty straight forward with simple yet tasty coffee blends.

Amazing coffee shop with outstanding quality pastries!! This place has such a cool vibe and you know how good a place is when the line is constantly out the door. The interior is nice and clean and their coffee is on point with the latte art, that’s how you can tell the baristas are serious about their coffee by the art! This has now become one of our must go to places when we visit Columbus. Highly recommended if you love fancy coffee and amazing pastries!

First let me start with the good: The service was delightful and the food was delicious and I will go back for it but like many places that focus on Coffee the Tea could use some work. The bad: I ordered their Assam tea and the general rule is one teaspoon per 8oz of water (unless it's a rolled tea like gunpowder) at about 195-205 degrees for about 5 minutes. What I was given was a sachet of tea big enough to make a 40z pot in water that was probably at 210 degrees that in the 5 minutes it took me to walk to the park and sit down was too bitter too drink. I would just like a bit more attention to the tea or I will just avoid it in the future.

Food is good but customer experience lacks. They think they are too good for online ordering or phone orders. Went there at about 10am on a weekday and had to wait in line for 45 minutes just to order and get my food in a 6 person line

Place is great. Good service and a great atmosphere. The egg sandwich was awesome. This place is not as busy as the other store they have off of 4th street. Finding seating wasn't a problem. Coffee is good too and reasonably priced. A little on the expensive side but it's not too bad. Overall good experience with this place.

This place is super cute but for some reason the staff told my group of 5 they were out of sandwiches, then that the "oven was broken." We were totally fine to have other pastries they were pushing. I was disappointed that they proceeded to sell sandwiches to the people behind us. I will try other locations but so far Thurman is not the one. I was excited to try their items but the atmosphere didn't live up to expectations. I got a tasty blueberry Danish and drank my coffee to people watch before finding breakfast elsewhere.

Lovely and charming cafe, locale, flavors… They have some very authentic baked goods and outstanding craft espresso based drinks. A piece of food culture befitting German Village and all the reasons to be invariably proud of our growing Columbus food scene.

When the shop was take-out only, the line was always around the corner. Now that they allow dine-in seating, you can see the display of mouth-watering pastries. It’s hard to make a decision! When my dad visits, we always stop by for a blueberry scone and biscuit with raspberry jam. The breakfast sandwich is one-of-a-kind, too! Go early because they sell out of baked goods fairly quickly. The branded cups and bags are a nice touch!

  • 4/5 Jacob W. 2 years ago on Google
Such a cozy spot! The presentation of their baked goods makes it hard to resist, and you won’t be disappointed. They seem to have high standards in what they do. I went with the banana bread and it was very good. Unfortunately my cortado was too hot and the milk was overstretched this time. But it’s a cafe I’d certainly go back to for breakfast, and the morning light comes in perfectly :)

Really amazing pastries and unique atmosphere/building. But it's a coffeeshop first and the coffee isnt the best in my opinion. I also think things can be a bit pricey for what they are.

  • 5/5 Gregory W. 1 year ago on Google
The is an excellent coffee house. We ordered three pastries that where perfectly baked. Each was not overly sweet and was delicious. The only criticism is that the don't have a warming oven. We had the bacon and egg breakfast sandwich. This is the best one I've had ever from any place in the country. The coffee was best I've had in Columbus, roasted correctly. If you like coffee from the Pacific North West then you will love this place. It's like a little bit of Seattle in the coffee desert of Ohio. The baristas are friendly and fast. Don't miss this place. Excellent, just excellent

I’m convinced there’s nothing bad at Fox in the Snow, so you really can’t go wrong here. Just when I thought the flaky croissant layers of the morning bun were my favorite thing, I would go back to the coffee cake and be convinced that the dense, super moist cinnamon swirls with powdered sugar were my favorite. It’s impossible to choose. This spot is just a couple minute walk from Schiller Park, has its own indoor seating area and the staff is super friendly. Go here and treat yourself to something decadent.

Fox in the Snow is a Columbus classic for a reason. The food is delicious and they do a good job of moving people through while not feeling rushed. Even though it has always been busy when we have went, we've never waited too long for a table to open up. Must try treats include the Egg Breakfast sandwich, the Morning Bun and blueberry danish.

  • 5/5 Joseph C. 11 months ago on Google
Fox in the Snow is one of my fav places to go for sandwiches or baked goods! The perfect place to hang with friends or grab something to take home. Be warned though that it can get really busy but it's worth the wait if you're willing. The baked goods are truly amazing and the egg sandwich with bacon is a staple. It's not your normal egg sandwich, the eggs are light and fluffy in between a soft chiabata bread with sweet savory bacon! It's big enough to share but you won't want to!

Visited as a recommendation from.a friend and SO glad we did! Had a group of 7 on a Monday morning (Labor Day) around 10:15 AM. Waited in line around 10 minutes and were able to find a table fairly quickly. Ordered the egg breakfast sandwich with bacon, cinnamon roll, Pecan Sticky Bun, tomato tart, and Oreo pastry. All were delicious, and the crowd favorites were the egg sandwich and Cinnamon Roll - so yummy! Would definitely recommend for a quick breakfast/pastry run.

We ordered New Orleans Iced Coffee and an Egg Sandwich with Bacon and gluten free bread and to go box of cinnamon break, banana bread and scones. The coffee is really good, I don't know what they put on it but it has a hint of a different flavor and its pretty bold and strong. The egg sandwich is great! No wonder people line up early in the morning, we were there around 1030ish and the lines weren't letting up all the way till noon (maybe even after?). The eggs are fluffy and it has a pretty unique taste that's probably a signature of their sandwich when you've tried it. Our sandwich was late for some reason but they refunded it (basically it's free!) So all in all 5/5! Must try before taking a stroll at the nearby park!

  • 5/5 Yen N. 6 months ago on Google
This place was amazing. There was a line and a small wait, but the coffee cake and the sticky bun was great. I got a chai latte, and my partner got the New Orleans Coffee (this is not sweet at all). But the staff was amazing and overall aesthetics was great. It’s in walking distance to the park and other shops in German Village.

  • 5/5 Christina H. 6 months ago on Google
My go-to spot for pastries in the neighborhood. They have a good selection of pastries but my favorite is probably the coffee cake and pecan sticky buns. Coffee is also very good as well. Not a huge selection for breakfast/lunch, but as others have mentioned the bacon egg breakfast sandwich is delicious. Also this lovely cafe is walking distance from Schiller Park if you don’t want to sit inside.

  • 5/5 Jeraldine W. 6 months ago on Google
I love brunch and this place was definitely wonderful for a quick bite. Beautiful pastries displayed. If you’re a fan of chocolate try the morning bun. The house-made chocolate mousse inside was so light and creamy. The strawberry diamond was amazing as well. Will be back to try other pastries for sure. You cannot forget to try the egg sandwich with bacon. Get one you won’t regret it ❤️

Absolutely love this location. Always great coffee, seasonal food selections and atmosphere. This location has more seating available and parking, plus it’s right next to Schiller Park for those who want to enjoy a nice stroll. I gave it 4 stars only because the table we sat at wasn’t clean, but this place is otherwise very well kept.

Oh, man, let me tell you about this incredible joint called Fox in the Snow in Columbus, Ohio. It's like, the breakfast haven of my dreams, buddy! So, picture this – I stroll in, right? The place has got this vibe that's like a cozy cabin mixed with a cool coffeehouse. And the souffled egg sandwich? Forget about it! It's like a taste explosion in my mouth, and I'm talking about fireworks of flavor, my friend. The egg is all fluffy and perfect, nestled between these toasty slices of heaven. It's like a breakfast party in my mouth, and everyone's invited! And don't even get me started on the cappuccino – it's like a warm hug for my taste buds. I take a sip, and I'm transported to this coffee wonderland. The foam is like a cloud, and the espresso is like a wake-up call from a happy, caffeine-fueled angel. Fox in the Snow, you've won me over, and now I'm a regular. I am one happy camper. Five stars, baby! Five stars!

The coffee is good and the pastries are exceptional but the wait suggests their policies need reconsidered. I have never waited for coffee the lengths that I regularly wait here. They often have only one person on the coffee bar despite having many people working. It is usually faster to drive across town to the Goat than to get a latte to go.

I wore a mask inside but my friend with a medical condition did not, and she showed them her medical card. They still wouldnt let her inside at all and it felt a little shaming and discriminating. Technically governors mandate on masks exempts her for having a real medical condition. I get that they want you to wear a mask, but im not sure how I feel about the way they treated the situation.

Pre Covid I spent 2-3 days a week here- either grabbing a coffee to go or often working for a few hours. Today was my first day stopping back in because I was taking my kids to play at Schiller park. My coffee was good- what was incredibly disappointing was when I walked back over from the park because my 3 year old had an emergency need for the restroom and I was told no. Because- ‘our bathrooms are closed’. I get Covid- I also know that keeping your space fully closed for in service dining or restroom use is 100% a decision being made by the business- not because it is mandated. What I don’t get is the lack of flexibility when a child needs a restroom and I am a regular (including today) customer and have always been a raving fan. I was so disappointed today by the tone, lack of empathy, and flat out refusal to let my 3 year old use the restroom that I don’t think i’ll be back. I’m a business owner and I can’t imagine turning away a child whose parent is a paying customer when they pose zero risk to your business. It would have been simple kindness. To say I’m disappointed in your business practices is an understatement.

Stopped in Columbus on a long cross country road trip (because, covid) and stopped here for breakfast on our way out. Best egg sandwich I think I’ve ever eaten. Latte was great, so was yogurt & granola, and the oatmeal —served with butter and brown sugar — which my 3-year-old devoured. Kept very clean and had great social distance practice with waiting area in the parking lot instead of inside.
