Still the best coffee in town. There is live music on Fridays, Farmer's market on Saturday mornings, exhibition of paintings made by local artists, and great vibes everytime. There are comfortable chairs and tables inside and plenty of room in the patio. Oh, and the fair trade gifts from the neighbor business World Peaces are extraordinary. Everyone that frequents the Global Gallery remarks the importance that this Cafe plays as a space that enhances the sense of community in Clintonville. Definitely mi go-to place in the Clintonville/ North High St. area.

A cool, chic cafe. I ordered a mocha and a bagel Toasted with regular cream-cheese. The bagel was basic, although toasted to perfection. The coffee was excellent. I spent some time inside. However, will go back again.

What really distinguishes this place is the atmosphere and the selection of global goods that are for sale along with the coffee and baked goods. I ordered a mocha and it was your average coffee beverage but the space is great. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, neat art on the walls. The bathroom was well stocked and clean up very tiny (careful not to knock someone out with door when you are done). Definitely a space I would return to get some work done.

The baristas at Global are so kind. Not only do they know what they talking about when it comes to coffee and other drinks, they are just good people. I recommend the Chai with Oat Milk. It just tastes SO good. Apart from the drinks, it is a nice location to study. There is one handicap parking spot by the store. There aren't too many parking spots right by the store, but you should have little trouble finding parking on the street. There are low tables so it is accessible for people who may need wheelchairs. The outdoor seating is nice and spacious. Most of the outdoor seating is on benches, so accessing the seats can be difficult, but sitting on the ends is no issue. The outdoor seating can be distracting due to the cars constantly zipping by. This is a great place to bring pets and service animals are definitely welcome. During the coronavirus, outdoor seating is safer option but do not fret because there is a tent set up in case of rain. Everything is pretty accessible. The bathrooms are relatively small. It would be difficult to use the restroom if you have a wheelchair or need more space to sit and stand. The overall environment is very welcoming. The menu is easy to read, but the baristas will more than love to help you order a drink suited for you. During this time of Covid, only a couple people can enter to order their drinks at this time. The outdoor seating gets sanitized per request, but there is also signage to let people know if the tables have been sanitized or not.

I’ve had the best hazelnut mocha I’ve ever had in my life. Seriously, I’m still in shock. This place is great, and the barista is awesome.

Oh my goodness gracious this coffee shop is so good! I'm glad we decided to try it out. I got a pumpkin chai - I don't love my drinks super sweet and let him know as much. He had a conversation with us to understand our tastes and made our drinks perfectly. I have dietary restrictions and the place offers a lot of options that can accommodate people. Some food items are vegan, some are gluten free, and the person who helped us is so kind and welcoming. They have art around you can look at and a community board where people can post. They sell a lot of different things, too - gloves, pins, etc. The vibe is chill. They have indoor seating, outdoor seating, and even additional outdoor seating in a little heated chamber where you can still see all around you but not have to be in the wind. It's awesome. 10/10 would come again. If you're handicapped in a way where you need a wheelchair this place is accessible, BUT you would need someone to help you open the front door and it may be tough going through some spots if it's busy because of narrow space in some areas inside. If it's not busy then I think it would be very easy so long as you're with someone who can open the door for you. Outdoor seating has plenty of perfectly easy places to sit with a wheelchair.

This is such a cute little coffee shop! Nestled between the Short North and Clintonville, this is a great spot for you to stop and take a break at while you’re exploring the downtown scene of Columbus,OH. They have several different varieties of, hot or cold, Tea and Coffee. And they offer a wide variety of food and snacks too! This gallery displays and sells paintings, jewelry, accessories, and trinkets from local artists all through the shop. Everywhere you look there is something beautiful to see. During the summer months the shop will offer live musical entertainment on their covered patio from local musicians. A lot of local flair here at this shop!

Very nice place to get work done. I've been here a few times and every time could find a free parking spot nearby and a place to sit down and work. And the coffee is really good! They also have lots of outside seating.

This fine establishment has great coffee with other drinks and treats. It also features a monthly rotating art gallery. The art work pictured will be there for the month of May 2021.

This is my go to for coffee in the area. They have quality beans and excellent seating. I also like that everything is sourced responsibility and the business is nonprofit. The reason this is a 4-star review and not a 5-star review is because I've experienced a lack of consistency recently. I ordered a cappuccino recently, and it was incredibly milky. It tasted more like steamed milk with espresso flavor than a cappuccino. After some troubled deliberation, I asked to have to remade, explaining the issue, and the second cappuccino came out almost identically to the previous one. Last time I went in, I was worried about having a repeat performance and got the drip coffee, which unfortunately tasted very mediocre. I was disappointed because I usually get very good drinks from here. I think I've learned that this place is good for cold brew and espresso drinks (if the barista on shift is good), but not so much for a standard cup of coffee. Seems like it's hit or miss if the barista on shift is friendly or not.

Plain and simple the coffee I had here was outstanding! Really one of the best cups I’ve had in a while, and I just spent half the year throughout Europe and Italy. Awesome gorgeous cup of complex and rich espresso! Also seemingly well made and thoughtful baked goods…

Global Gallery is the best of the 90’s/early 2000’s coffee shop: - little grungy, a little alternative, homey and part of the neighborhood. There’s something for everyone here: indoor seating, outdoor seating, gluten free and vegan baked goods from other local establishments.

Amazing little coffee shop and much more! Love all the local trades that sell goods and the market next door as well! Staff was very friendly and helped make suggestions on my taste in coffee. The cinnamon roll maple latte they made was to die for! Highly recommended to anyone in the area and looking for non-chain style coffee! Love to support local!!

We’ve come to Global Gallery for a long time and have even played music here. (I have a band with my husband) but this time when we stopped we were so delighted with the 6oz cappuccino from Joe. He knew just how to make it in the traditional way that is sometimes unusual for a lot of coffee shops. It’s nice to see a good place continue grow and enjoy the growth of the quality of drinks too. So yummy! We will definitely go again when we’re even remotely nearby. I’ve also always loved the large outdoor seating area and cozy inside dining space full of eclectic art on display and for sale. Such a great local shop!

The atmosphere is wonderfully communal. Sometimes it's hard to find a table because it's so popular, but if it's a nice day, one can sit outside. It has coffee beans that you can buy that you can't find anywhere else, and unique jewelry. A special space that I go to often, I recommend stopping in.

Love this place. Perfect for a meet up with a friend or two. Only one person inside at a time, but the staff is great and their outdoor area is perfect to hang and get some coffee. Also free wifi while you're there. Take a look inside at the local art/crafts too.

Very thrift store chic; this isnt a polished, bougie, type of place. As a matter of fact, its straight up rough and so is every customer and worker that was there at the time. Having said that, the live music was a definite plus as was the little market deal that was going on at the time. The Congo coffee tasted like an overripe blackberry. Would recommend and go back again.

Very friendly staff and delicious coffee drinks. My wife has enjoyed the pastries she's gotten with our drinks. Particularly lean towards cold brew and the nitro cold brew - highly recommend stopping if you're into coffee and in the area!

Five stars because they are a wonderful shop who supports many great local roasters. However, it is very strange that you cannot make an iced americano. It is a very common espresso drink order and ive tried to order one a few times to head scratches.

When we arrived, the person at the counter - exerting the least possible effort and answering our questions in monosyllables - confirmed our understanding that they are still requiring masks and have no indoor seating. There were about 12 outdoor tables, each seating at least four, most with only one person sitting at them. Although we were clearly at a loss of where we might sit, no staff helped us. If they had shown even the smallest amount of interest in having our business, then I would be able to tell you if their coffee was any good. As it was, I left and went someplace else.

Sometimes it can be hard to hunt down the barista, but the great outdoor seating and cold brew is definitely worth it. Recommend the pasta dish!

Really awesome local coffee shop and gallery. Everything is local in some regards, and the drinks are always solid. Tons of art on display and for sale, plus it's located within the Clintonville Farmers Market so it's simple to stop in and grab a cup of coffee as you walk. Been around for YEARS and hopefully it will be around for years more!

Great place to purchase beans from, our personal favorite! You can usually always find seating and the atmosphere is laid back. The pastries aren’t the best in my opinion, they’re overly sweet and don’t feel as delicious or curated as the coffee. That said, we always get a nice cup here and the beans really are stellar! Conveniently located across from a really great yoga studio as well.

This little coffee shop is my favorite in the city. The vibes are immaculate, and the service is unmatched. Their chai latte is the best drink on the menu, and the amaretto Italian soda is a the PERFECT refresher for a sunny day.

I adore Global Gallery. I've gotten so many gifts from their fair trade shop, I've gone to fun events they host like the zine swaps, and it's a go-to place for my writers group. It's especially nice in warm weather when the porch is open. Pro tip: Ask for the honey bear latte. It's not always on the menu because it's technically a seasonal drink, but the baristas are so sweet and will make it for you. It's delicious! Thank me later.

A nice little coffee shop with good COVID restrictions in place. The barista was very nice and helpful. We were just stopping by quick, so we didn't look around much, but the coffee and treats were delicious!

  • 5/5 Hannah L. 3 years ago on Google
I have been going to Global Gallery for years. Love their mission first and foremost, but their coffee and treats are equally delightful. They also sell an eclectic mix of jewelry, artwork, dog treats, and other gift items from local and global artists/entrepreneurs that make perfect "just because" gifts. Highly recommend!

  • 5/5 JULIA N. 3 years ago on Google
I have loved coming to this coffee shop since I first began living here! I love the cause it supports and its promotion of culturally diverse fair trade products. The coffee is delicious, the environment is lovely and comfortable! The only area of concern is accessibility aspects in regard to the bathroom and inside the establishment. The inside is not very spacious for someone who may use a wheelchair or other assistive device, but these are also times of a pandemic so large spaces are harder to come by. Overall, I love the outside area when the weather is a little warmer, and I love their purpose.

  • 5/5 Hal 3 years ago on Google
It’s a nice, cozy little shop with fair trade coffee and gifts. I even picked up some dog treats to bring back home to my pup in Houston. The espresso machine was locked when I visited so I can’t attest to the latte I ordered and the chai latte was so sweet I couldn’t get past a few sips. I would probably be more upset with my experience if the employee behind the counter had not been so friendly and kind. If I was a local, I would probably try again– seemed like an off morning.

Global Gallery is awesome! It hits every check mark. Good coffee, good specialty drinks, good seasonal drinks, good selection of good baked goods (and they usually have donuts from Tupelo), the staff are friendly, the atmosphere is nice and cozy, there's a bunch of seating space, and it's nice to sit outdoors when the weather is warmer. Plus, if you're looking for a nice gift for someone, they have plenty of those—from art to scarves and more. My favorite drink has to be the nitro cold brew when it's warmer out or the chai latte when it's colder out.

Global Gallery Coffee Shop is far out of my usual well beaten path. A friend took me here one afternoon, and while I had initial trepidations , in the end I was pleasantly surprised. The shop is a bit of warren with at least 3 different rooms that I saw. Moving about can be interesting if you are a big guy (I am) and you end up setting at the far end of a large and long shared table with benches. Being my first time here I went with a plain cup of black coffee. It's coffee, better than UDF, not as good my usual spot (I'm biased). We shared a few baked goods. I forget what we had. I do remember that I didn't not like them. So they must have been tasty. All in all this a cutesy sort of place with good quality backed goods and coffee. I think they also are a florist too, we were sitting near an employee that was creating arrangements.

Global gallery is my favorite go to place for coffee and enjoying the patio. The inside is gorgeous and their support for local artists is amazing. However, a staff member that i see on occasion always seems sort of down or “not in the mood” and i get that things right now suck but i feel like im inconveniencing her asking for water or ordering in general. I dont want to get anyone in trouble and i dont want to see anyone struggling. But i feel uncomfortable at times coming in and seeing her at the counter. Theres no conversation and she seems incredibly unhappy to be there. I hope shes doing okay. Besides that global gallery is a badass coffee shop and i will forever adore this place and their amazing community they have built!!

The coffee being served is high quality. From light roast to dark; every preference is met at this shop. There is plenty of seating enclosed outside that allows for considerate distancing. Below are recommendations I’m quite confident of: By the cup: Cold brew (Ramble House) is on point. Perfect time of the year to enjoy. Americano (request to be made with One Line espresso blend). Bold, but not overwhelming. The flavor is rich and even has a kind of hint of mint that tingles. Any of the Ramble House on drip brew is awesome! cappuccino, cortado and latte fans... Go at it with once again - One Line espresso blend Bags of beans: Thunderkiss, One Line Coffee and Ramble house are available by the bag for home brew. Hopefully Yeah, me too coffee beans are added as well. *The shop can grind beans if needed* Sweet teeth:))))) Have a sweet tooth?! Take one glance at the scones and other baked goods, then try to deny the urge. Good luck! We’re lucky and fortunate to have a shop like this. They don’t make millions a year, and all roasters and employees spend many hours making and distributing phenomenal products for us to enjoy at very fair prices.
