One of my favorite spot for coffee in Columbus. I don’t go there enough, but anytime I go I love it even more. I like the atmosphere, the vibes and, obviously, the coffee. I would just like for the baristas to be a little bit more friendly, positive and smiley… but it’s ok, all the rest is perfect!

This is my favorite coffee shop in Columbus. The coffee, tea, and bagels are all top tier. If it’s warm out, try the ‘frozen’ (not your average coffee drink). If it’s cold, try the jasmine pearls green tea or chai latte! The employees are all friendly, cool, and incredible people - not to mention the owner, Kenny who is a community staple. They’ve been handling the safety of the pandemic incredibly well from the beginning so you can rest assured you’ll be safe here. Not to mention their proceeds benefit three causes: clean water, anti-human trafficking, and hunger.

Fantastic establishment on every front! Greeted by the super awesome founder, Kenny - he is funny, friendly and super-duper knowledgeable. The coffee was delicious, the vibe is laid-back, and the music was eclectic and chill (just ask them to throw on some vinyl for ya!). Roosevelt is extremely invested in the community, and engages heavily in philanthropy through clean water initiatives, fighting hunger (locally and abroad), and fighting human trafficking. Definitely a place where your money fills your gut with primo blends of coffee - and your soul with joy knowing you are helping others. Going to be signing up for Frank's monthly subscription!!

This Cafe was a breath of fresh air. Great soft environment with music playing from a record player. Delicious Cappuccino and positive vibes. Thanks Columbus. I wish everyone could experience the beauty and diversity of the USA as I do out here contracted/loading an Amazon trailer down the street. Im in 48 states at various times throughout the year. True freedom man. Get out and meet/greet your neighboring cities and states. Peace.

Coffee trail review - this was okay, more of a campus study area than your typical coffeehouse. I didn't see any menus for specialty coffees which was a bit disappointing when you see some lovely pictures of drinks in the reviews. Hubs and I just got an iced latte with a muffin. Latte was okay nothing special, didn't like how mine was not mixed properly as there were chunks of cream towards the bottom of my drink. Love the concept of this place but I'll leave this for the students to enjoy this space and to continue to contribute to the Roosevelt Foundation.

A much better choice for coffee and comfort than Starbucks! Plus, they are a nonprofit coffeeshop, supporting trafficking victims. The vegan blueberry pop tart was next level good too! Look at all that filling!

One of my favorite places ever. The coffee is delicious and the space has great light/plenty of space to work. But what really makes this place incredible is the people who work there. They are always there for you to help you pick a drink off the menu, answer any questions you may have, talk through things when you're having a bad day, etc. They genuinely care. And added bonus right now, they're requiring face masks. Thanks for doing the right thing, always.

I came here as part of the Columbus Coffee Trail and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere is chic, yet cozy, with plenty of natural light illuminating this plant filled coffee shop. The espresso was superb, and the baristas were super friendly. This is an excellent spot for a first date or to spend the day studying. As an added bonus, they are a philanthropic coffeehouse, supporting various local organizations and charities.

The atmosphere is so good and the food is nice. I had the ice matcha latte and it's one of the best around, easily. One barista in particular was somewhat dismissive in his interactions and it was hard to get his attention when I wanted to clarify something about my order, but I think this might have been due to understaffing (he was handling all the orders alone).

The esthetics and prices are great, but the coffee and customer service is not so good. I rated them a 2 verses a 1 because the shop itself is great for getting some work done. The ambiance is nice.

This coffeehouse is truly special. I love the aesthetic of the place, and there are different varieties of drinks to anyone's liking. It is also a wonderful place to study.

So good! The menu is short and sweet - they know what they’re doing and don’t overcomplicate it. We got the Vietnamese coffee (which comes iced) and the s’mores cortado. This is a great stop if you’re going through the area.

Roosevelt Coffeehouse is a really cool coffee spot with a minimalistic industrial feel. They have really great high quality coffee drinks. I was looking forward to their s’mores cortado I’ve seen pictures of, but they only offer that in the fall. The place is massive with plenty of different areas to sit at and they also have a stage setup in their back room. Their pop tart pasty was really delicious especially since I haven’t had one since I was a kid and it was basic pop tarts from the box. They play music from their huge selection of records and they were nice enough to play my request. The location looks like it’s a nice modern up and coming area of downtown. One thing I really love about them is they are a non profit that donates to great causes. If you’re looking to get your caffeine fix I highly recommend this place and also contribute to a great cause!

Got a chai latte on a windy early fall day and it was exactly what I needed! Absolutely delicious, super reasonable pricing, delivered in a zen and welcoming space. Loved visiting here and I will come again!

My mom and I come here for a writing meetup on Friday mornings! The staff is always friendly. Place is bright and the music isn't distracting. There are only a handful of free parking spots in front of the building, but there are parking meters on all sides.

Overall this is a good coffee shop. It must be good, because it is always a packed house. Individuals come here to work all day, so if you are not there early you will not get a seat. Wish individuals were more self aware, and there was more seating overall.

Lovely cafe with good coffee. I have had their vanilla latte and Vietnamese coffee. It's a great atmosphere. There is a record player and a collection of records you can choose from to have the staff play. They've got a Snarky Puppy album! Every time I've gone it's been packed (for good reason). There are a lot of seats, but also a lot of patrons. Lots of outlets to use to charge your laptop or whatever with. They have a great cause they fight for, so you can feel good about spending your money there. Safe food and water for third world countries, as well as fighting about human trafficking. All in all a great cafe!

We were very consistent regulars here for a year until we moved out of the area, and I would very seriously go back any day just for the frozen coffee drink (please tell me what powder mix you use, it's the best). Service was always friendly and fast, even when they were slammed. You can order ahead online and they do have outdoor seating in the summer as well. We will miss you, Roosevelt Crew 💚

This place has good tea. But that's none of my business

  • 2/5 michael s. 1 year ago on Google
Unfortunately it was not the best experience for me. The menu was not easy to read, which made deciding on what to order quite difficult. I ended up with a less than ideal coffee. Perhaps some of it was on me that I am not well versed in all the different types of coffees and drinks, but regardless, it was difficult to determine what all their options were. Besides this, the environment was nice and I did enjoy the artwork and general feel of the shop.

It’s a nice place, it looks like old American design. If you pass the down town, it will be great to spend some time here or take a break after walking. They provide specific Coffe and latte with limited type of milk. Expect coconuts milk that not available. They have some food but without providing food heating for pies and muffins. It was very nice experience and new place to discover.

One of my favorite coffee spots in Columbus. The coffee is high quality, and they have a decently extensive selection of bean varieties to choose from to take home. Seasonal offerings are awesome if you want to switch up your standard go-tos. Another asset is their proactivity with anti-human trafficking efforts— we love a coffee shop with a conscience!! The ambience is quiet enough to host folks who need to study, but also bright and inviting enough to meet friends for coffee and converse. One of my favorite features in this exposed-brick gem is their vinyl selection, which invites patrons to set the background music vibe.

  • 5/5 Anna D. 1 year ago on Google
Drinks are fantastic and beautiful and vibes are super chill -- not quite cozy, but cool (and clean). It's one of my favorite places in the city to hang out and do some work. Spinning vinyl all day, huge windows, and lots of tables add to the vibe. Lots of folks seem to agree, so it can be hard to find seating on busy days. Plus they have an awesome mission. Yeah, this place rocks.

  • 5/5 Avery S. 1 year ago on Google
I arrived just before closing, 10 minutes before. Nonetheless, the people were happy to see me, and made me my vanilla latte! The drink was amazing, and I've returned to order that same drink again. They have water to drink, some baked goods, and lots of seating space. All in all, 10/10.

We visited on a Thursday morning and although parking was a little tricky, it wasn’t too busy inside. My group all decided to get the homemade pop tarts along with our delicious coffee and I would highly recommend!! All of the flavors are outstanding. The vibe of this place is amazing and is a great place to get work done, meet up with friends, or enjoy a nice morning reading. I want to come back as soon as possible and highly suggest everyone check this awesome place out!

  • 5/5 Amanda S. 1 year ago on Google
They do somethings to coffee and milk that transcends a latte into this like caramelized-tasting heavingly drink. I should come more often but I don't live super close. Bonus excited because they carry Cherbourg Bakery items and as someone who recently went gluten free, it's difficult to find GF food in cafes. It is a cool venue, though all the hard surfaces and high ceilings mean it can be a bit noisy sometimes. Nothing headphones won't cure. Update: returned in April. Just had the seasonal cold brew lemonade and it's so effing good!

Little place tucked away in the older part of Columbus. Burgeoning art district. Awesome coffee. Lots of light and air space. Great place for doing some office work/ studying. And banging cortados! Cheers!

This is a great place to get espresso and they do a fantastic job with flavor and presentation. Definitely a go to for coffee. They don't have great parking for free but it is easy to find a pay to park.

Really fun seasonal blood orange ginger beer espresso drink. Great frozen drink as well. We really enjoyed the creative dish return bin and were quite impressed with the whole menu.

Always an awesome mocha. Great service. Record player running. It isn’t the quiet bookshop coffee shop, it is a vibrant place on the edge of loud.

  • 5/5 Tiera D. 6 months ago on Google
Amazing coffee and even better place to do some work or chatting with friends. A lot of coffee options and they have a few pastries and bagels but no other food available. Very small parking lot so prepare to use pay app for street parking. They always have a great vinyl playlist going too.

  • 5/5 Kaleena G. 4 months ago on Google
Best coffee shop in Columbus! Staff is always very friendly, helpful, and professional. Baked goods come from other local businesses, which I love supporting while having the convenience of not driving all over town. Love the seasonal drinks offered as well through the year. Chill vibes and casual atmosphere with record player playing in the background. Always uses top quality ingredients for beverages. Not for profit organization that supports great causes and gives back. Great place to hang out, hold meetings, or do work. Been coming here since 2016. ☕️

I love their mission and they happen to serve very good coffee. Their pastry offerings, though not wide, is very tasty. Try their fresh pop tarts or muffins. The seasonal offerings, now that it's Nov, they have pumpkin pop tarts! Come and grab a cup of coffee, espresso, latte, or whatever caffeine beverage and a treat to go with it.

I’ve been frequenting this location for years, it’s been such a fun experience watching it become a Columbus staple. The coffee is hands down my favorite in town, especially now that they’re roasting their own beans. Owner Kenny is an awesome human and makes everyone feel welcome. I come down to work to get out of my home office several times a month. Great coffee, yummy snacks, ample space and taking Covid seriously. Go to orders are cortado or latte with oat milk.

Their Maple Syrup for their coffee is delicious. My favorite is an iced oat milk latte with maple syrup and sometimes vanilla as well. They just have delicious coffee, okay?

  • 2/5 Katelynn E. 4 years ago on Google
The woman who took my order seemed very short and stern, not very pleasant. They also forgot to make my coffee and didn't say anything once I finally got it. The place has a weird vibe and the coffee tasted like dirty water and milk. Also, their plants are wilty and neglected (plant lover here) which just added to the weirdness of the place. The concept and charity of the coffee shop is nice though.
