What a Gem! Found this on my bike ride today and am stoked that I did. The Baristas where super friendly, there was good coffee, and the atmosphere was super friendly, perfect for a solo study or hanging with a friend. If you’re on OSU’s campus, definitely stop by.

Listened to one barista say to her coworker ‘maybe we shouldn’t be using styrofoam cups because the espresso is MELTING them and dissolving it into the drinks’ right before being handed a styrofoam cup of coffee. Espresso straight from the machine is way too hot for styrofoam even if it says it’s for hot drinks. Melted or burnt styrofoam is extremely dangerous not only for those drinking it but the fumes are toxic to breathe as well. Baristas should be trained on this and given correct supplies to make coffee safe to drink and not have to breathe styrene fumes. Their 12oz iced coffees are all made and served in styrofoam cups. Also waited over 15 minutes for my drink with only 2 other people in the store.

Quaint cafe right across from tOSU campus. Friendly employees, delicious baked goods and sandwiches and MYRIAD beverage options. Went wild with the syphon coffee...fun process and super tasty. Can't wait to go back and try more things.

Do not come to this coffee shop if you need coffee within one hour, you will not get it within a hour. This is not a coffee shop the one worker placies a higher priority on making sandwiches than getting coffee out the door. They always have one person working, making sandwiches, preparing DoorDash orders, I genuinely feel bad for this single person they have working. Horrible ownership I hope they sell this prime location to a better business.

They leave the bagels out all day so they get stale. Coffee is mediocre, nothing new or exciting about this place. I give it a year before they shut down.

This place is really cute! The inside is so well kept, clean and uniquely styled. I ordered a 16oz iced snickerdoodle latte & a cheese coffee cake. The description for the cake says moist… it was not moist. BUT it wasn’t bad either. I like that it wasn’t overly sweet and the crunchy pecan added a nice touch. The latte was actually pretty good too. I’ll definitely be going back to try something different!

They have dare I say some of the best bagels on high street. Way less expensive than Starbucks and good quality service. IF you can ever find a seat because usually every seat is taken, its great to just sit down and chat with a friend or do homework and study. 10/10 would recommend but make sure you get there way before or way after lunch. Your not gonna find a seat otherwise.

Cold brew is very decent here and they offer syphon coffee which is pretty cool. Atmosphere is nice and the place is quiet. People are friendly.

Hours are incorrect. On their social media “7a-7p everyday” - closed at 10am on sunday? Their coffee is okay but how frustrating is that.

Each morning I wake up and have the same bargaining conversation with myself about getting up and being an adult. As motivation, I treat myself to Cielo’s iced Caramel Macchiatos. Their prices are a kinda high but it’s worth it. The staff is friendly, quick, and doing their best to deal with the students during a pandemic. They also offer a variety of pastries and bagels.

Great turkey bacon & avocado bagel and coffee! Very cute inside. Would study here if there weren’t the current restrictions.

10+ dollars for two of the okayist cups of coffee I’ve ever had. The employees didn’t really seem to know how to make a syphon coffee. Donuts were alright, everything kinda tastes store bought.

Good coffee, decent breakfast sandwiches (comparable to on-campus). Not covid friendly - minimal social distancing and indoor tables with no masks.

Perhaps my favorite coffee shop near OSU. Lots of great drink options, and the breakfast sandwiches and the baked goods are all delicious.

Cute ambiance. Good coffee. Friendly staff. HORRIBLE bagels. You could get an entire sleeve of the same quality bagels from Walmart for cheaper. I get that's it's too small to make them in house, but there has to be a decent bakery you could source them from in Columbus. If the bagels (and bagel sandwichs) were halfway decent, this would probably beat out Stauf's as my go to coffee shop around Campus. As it is now, I'd only pop in to get some work done AFTER eating breakfast or lunch somewhere else.

I used to recommend this as my favorite coffee place in the city. But it seems lately the employees just do not care and the customer is suffering for it. The product quality has gone down and the staff is CONSTANTLY turning off their delivery services. (As someone who has worked in the food industry recently you can just make the delivery times longer, not close the whole restaurant on the app) Bottom line: if i wanted lazy service like this I would just go back to using Tim Hortons.

Customer Service skills was ok and there was no place to set if you wanted to. A little high price wise, but the pastries looked good.

Cute ambience and great bagel options, however I have ordered the honey sesame bagel twice now, and both the times it was stale, dry and not fresh at all. I like this place overall, I would’ve just hoped for the bagels to be fresh. Attaching photos for reference.

I wasn't too familiar with the area, but decided to try this place since it was near my apartment. It has a very nice atmosphere for studying in. All of the workers seem to be super nice and personable, even more so than most cafes. I definitely recommend tOSU students try this place out instead of only going to chains like Starbucks.

Received a disgrace of a cappuccino today from this cafe, they usually have decent coffee. But wow, this is an awful cappuccino.

Just went for the first time this morning and it was a lovely experience! I had a cappuccino and their avocado toast, and everything was great. Great place to grab coffee before class or sit and study. Staff was so friendly, and it was overall a really positive experience.

This place is amazing! They have great coffee, pastries and sandwiches😀😀i been there about 4-5 times all great experiences. They have great, strict guidelines for covid which made me feel at ease. Everyone had their masks on, spaces between tables and sanitizers on each table! Awesome place 🤗

Love the coffee! It’s right by my house so I’ll definitely be ordering often. I agree with other reviewers though that the bagels are super hard, they hurt my teeth. If they ever get new bagels I’d love to get breakfast here! But for now I’m going to stick to just coffee

Wide variety of coffee and absolutely delicious.

My partner and I ordered iced cinnamon rolls and they just threw two stale, non-iced cinnamon rolls into the bag. They also completely ignored all of the requests I made on my sandwich. I used a lot of Uber Eats points on this meal and won't be getting my coupon back. A complete waste.

Recently my daughters and I visited Cielo Cafe for the first time at the recommendation of a few of my coworkers at OSU Wexner Medical center. Being a major coffee lover I was definitely anxious to try it. We absolutely loved it. BOTH of my daughters said it was better than our normal every day coffee shop which was probably one of the best compliments two teen girls could give. I was impressed with how the shop was putting in place covid health and safety measures because unfortunately a lot of people behind counters think that being behind a counter is distance enough. The baristas all had masks and gloves on and there were hand sanitizers on each of the tables which I think was above and beyond. A wonderful coffee shop in the OSU community and we will absolutely be going back soon!

The inside of this cafe is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely the kind of place you want to settle in and study for a few hours. The coffee and pastries are amazing... basically do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Coffee is good, breakfast sandwiches not so much. There are no social distancing measures though, so be comfortable with ~30 people not wearing masks in a small room

I ordered from cielo cafe on doordash. I ordered what they called an "extra large blueberry muffin".... it was tiny. like maybe in Inch and a half across and an Inch and a half tall. The bagels were dry and nearly stale. Bottom line: THIS PLACE SUCKS.

This cafe cannot function properly. My simple order of two bagels was clearly too difficult for them to handle. This was my first time here and I will never come again. I called 7 times in a row to see if they could fix my order and no one answered. Do not waste your time or money here. Thanks for the butter!!!!

I go here about 3 times a week. About one out of five times, the card reader does not work and you need to input your credit card information manually. They also charge extra for using whole milk instead of 2% (most places only charge for using a non dairy substitute). The staff is very nice and the coffee is good, but the quality to cost ratio could be better IMO.
