Not a very nice place. I was stranded with a broke down car needing to use the bathroom. This place was closed not 5 min ago but wouldn't let me use their facilities. Shame on them. I am stranded 40 miles from home and I couldn't use their bathroom for 30 seconds. Wow. Just wow

The owner yells at her employees when theres customers in the shop. It’s trashy and no one should talk to their employees that way. Go support a different small business. Absolutely appalling.

Good coffee and pastries. Lovey little local coffee shop no to far from the airport, nice cozy inside sitting area with additional nice rustic patio outside seating. Friendly baristas and good recommendations. They bake their pastries fresh daily, menus selection is small which offers excellent choices versus having everything under the sun and not getting it right. Would definitely revisit next time in the area and try some of the other pastries & drinks on the menu.

The owner of this establishment thinks its appropriate to demean and belittle employees in front of guests. I would think twice about spending my money here and go somewhere else, where employees are treated with kindness and decency. Additionally, I see them posting on Facebook, citing "staffing needs" as the reason. I'll make it clear to the owner: it's not a "them" problem, it's a "YOU" problem. High turnover is frequent here and that's a BAD business practice, let alone a waste of money and resources. Treating people with kindness and investing in them will help you out, not only with your staffing needs but you'll also increase the quality of service you're giving out AND you'll save money on hiring and firing costs ! Just a friendly hint for this not-so-friendly owner

Very nice employees, but the owner is crass and unprofessional. She was making racist jokes and later yelled at one of her employees to the point of tears and with a shop full of customers. The shop itself has decent coffee, but smells mildly of mildew with water visibly dripping from the corner ceiling. Quiche tasted okay, but later caused GI upset. Not going back until there is new ownership. Disappointing as this is a very convenient alternative to Starbucks when I'm in town visiting family. To the owner's response - they have these cool things called planes that allow me to visit from the distant land of Texas. I wish you the best of luck preferably in a different endeavor.

Met a friend here for coffee and chat and it was a great experience. I got a black Sumatra (2 actually) and the chocolate chip coffee cake. My kid wants to stop by one day soon. My only complaint (and it's totally on me).......is that I have been living in the area since 2018 and just found it about it! 🤣 (Love that it is women-owned and LGBTQ+-owned!)

Great coffee and coffee cake from a small business owner. they are willing to explain and show what they offer with very friendly service. When I was there, they knew some of their customers by name. This is a great small business coffee shop.

Are you actually going to be open anytime this week? We would love to visit your coffee shop when we visit the Bexley Natural Market. But every time we make a plan to drive to Bexley, your coffee shop is never open.

Great spot. Lots of options for drinks and several bakery items to choose from, all house made. Worth turning off the main streets to come here! We will be back next time we visit.

I'm from out of town and wanted coffee early on a Friday morning. I usually choose local shops over national chains and Bexley Coffee was the only local place near where I was staying. The interior was not lit very well and the open sign was small so if I had not checked their hours before I drove there, I probably would have passed them by because it appeared as if they were closed. The barista was kind and helpful. He explained their coffee selection. I ordered their light roast Blue Moon something (I don't remember exactly what it was called). The coffee was excellent and I would definitely return there when I'm in the area!

The smoothies are really good, made with fruit, juice, and ice, nothing artificial or flavored. I love getting a "Good day Sunshine " to share with my grandson.

The quiche was cold and seemed like it had been made a while ago. The coffee was decent. The place is shabby. There was a lot of mail on the coffee table and a weird exposed storage area with a microwave in the 'lobby', which was closed for any seating. Maybe the microwave was for customers to heat their own food?

First time visiting the Bexley Coffee Shop, the location is Okay but the service was terrible. I ordered a Macchiato and I was asked if I wanted a “real Macchiato or a Starbucks Macchiato “, I asked what was the difference she rudely responded Starburst Macchiato’s aren’t real and they just give a fancy name to upcharge you because it’s actually a latte. Well in addition to the inside of the place looking unclean and dark the macchiato and latte my friend and I I ordered was terrible, we asked if we could switch for something different and got no response, so we left both drinks there and went to Panera (very friendly people) The rude lady training at the Bexley Coffee Shoo should not be training anyone because you always want to have great customer service. We have been visiting different coffee shops every weekend for a while and this by far the worst.

Pulled into the parking lot today to get a beverage and scone. Saw not one, not two, but three people walk inside with dogs within a two minute timeframe. I do not and will not patronize any establishment that allows dogs near food or beverages. It is unsanitary and not allowed by health department regulations. They have been contacted.

The coffee and treats were both great. I'm interested to return here to try other options on their menu. Indoor atmosphere is a little strange, though, if you plan to sit inside to enjoy your goods.

Delicious coffee and scone (I tried the Jalapeño cheddar one!). The scone was fluffy, warm, and heavenly. I also loved that this place is so outwardly welcoming to all people, and is a LGBTQIA and women owned local business.

I moved into the apartment building across the street this summer and, although I own a Nespresso, am a frequent customer as of late. The coffee is always super delicious and I love cycling through their seasonal menus. Quiche is absolutely delicious as well, no matter what the ingredients of the day are. I have always had very pleasant exchanges with the baristas and owner.

Nice little coffee shop. I am not a coffee aficionado, so I don't know if the espresso drinks are any better or worse than other, ahem, better known coffee shops; however, they are plenty good enough for my undistinguished tastes. Baked goods are also good. They offer tea and other beverages for the non-coffee drinker. Seating is limited. Nice little outdoor seating area. People are very friendly. Pet friendly.

Older lady that works there came out of the back in a whirlwind while another worker was making my drink. She then put a cup of ice in my coffee before it was finished being made, put a lid on it and handed it to me. So I paid $6.50 to watch an impatient person ruin my coffee, when she wasn’t even the one making it in the first place.

The coffee here is really great, one of my favorite places to sit down for a while. The food is very nice too, especially the coffee cakes. Just one or two things keep this from being a 5 star review for me. The main sign out front is heavily sun damaged and makes the place look a bit more raggedy than it actually is. It's also sort of dimly lit inside, though the decorations and aesthetic are perfect. I also ordered a cup of coffee to drink "for here" and I got it in a paper cup. I wish I'd gotten it in a mug like the first time I visited, but the coffee tasted great regardless. That's just nitpicking though, in the end, I'll be coming back here frequently for a great, relaxing breakfast

We went here for the first time, as our first stop on the Columbus coffee trail and they did not disappoint! Had the Highlander Grogg and Gautemalan drip coffee and both were superb. Great atmosphere, fantastic customer service and lots of seasonal specialty drink options for when we come back!

Cute little place with a cozy area inside (take out only right now because of covid) but plenty of rustic seating on the cute patio that has lots of flowers and birds to enjoy with your coffee. I got the London fog which was quite good and my SO enjoyed their cappuccino.

Talk about a hard working woman! She's open 7 days a week, serves up great coffees, baked goods and quiches. But, she's a one, maybe two woman show, so you have to patient for the goodness and her attention. However someone needs to offer to repaint her sign! (For free). Shilling coffee ain't no money maker even if you're popular. :^)

Stopped in here while in Columbus on business. Really nice little coffee shop. Coffee was good and service was friendly. I also got a piece of raspberry white chocolate coffee cake. I thought it was just a regular slice, but it was a hunk! Very pleased. Would definitely go here again.

Cute small coffee shop. Nice 5$ morning coffee and a cake deal, 12oz or 16 oz, between 6:00-9:00. The coffee medium roast is okay.. Very nice staff.. Not a lot of parking.

This is a great little cafe where you can relax and even read a magazine from a collection kept on hand. the staff is cordial and helpful, so I will return often. Coffee is hot and delicious. Other customers sometimes talk too loudly, but that is a minor inconvenience.

So let me just say this!!!! I LOVE this coffee shop. Amazing coffee and little snacks to go with your coffee. The employees are so friendly and will make your coffee exactly how YOU want it made. My husband and I have been regulars ever since we found out they open at like 6am!! Which is great for us because 1 it's right around the corner from where we live and 2 we work bright and early so it's perfect!!

Stopped here for Cbus coffee trail... The staff were friendly and the coffee we got was very good (iced and latte). Service was very quick and prices were competitive/in line with other shops around town. Thunderkiss coffee looked to be their brand used. Overall very solid.

I stopped in around noon on a Monday. It was a pretty small space but there were only a handful of customers inside and I was able to find a place to sit and work. I had granola with yogurt and a frozen chai and both were excellent. Music was playing at very low volume. It's a good place to go if you need a quiet space to work while you have coffee and/or a snack.

  • 3/5 Michael K. 4 years ago on Google
It was satisfactory. The coffee was good, and the selection was fine. The coffee cake was a little dense, but tasted fine. I almost drove right by it due to unreadable signage, but that's not a big deal. It's just not a 5 star. Better than a Starbucks, that's for sure.

  • 5/5 Theodore P. 2 years ago on Google
Nice spot to enjoy coffee and a baked treat and talk with friends or spouse outside. I especially like that the staff is always informed and eager to educate me on how the different drinks are made and what the ingredients are. I never feel like they just want me to order, pay, and go away.
