A cute, cool coffee place. I quickly stopped by to get a drink. They were having summer special lemonade. I got that purple colored ( butterfly pea flower infused) refreshing, lemonade. It was mildly sweet and a bit tangy and perfectly refreshing. I loved it. My husband got a nitro cold brew- I didn’t like that much, but he said it was decent. Overall nice! I would love to go back.

Awesome coffee, staff, service, vibe, and ambience. Great wifi and place to work from cafe. Must try seasonal coffee flavors and light roast coffee. Bean sandwich is highly recommended.

The staff is always friendly. Their skinny vanilla latte is possibly better than Starbucks’. ☕️

My drink was good but fairly heavy with dairy and sweetener, honestly. I struggled to find the undertones and whole flavor of my espresso as a result. I also found the scone to taste sort loveless and bland. I am not proud to admit I eat at Panera once in a while but even they have better scones, same with Starbucks. I think this place has lots of potential and deserves your business but I think and I hope they [should] change and tweak the menu just a tad. Anyhow I’ll try them again and maybe edit this review. It’s a fun place to sit and talk about life.

Another reviewer called it cozy and warm, but I beg to differ. It was a little chilly this morning, and all the chairs are metal except for some leather chairs next to a fake fireplace. I was hoping it was the kind that at least puts off some electric heat, but no ...just decoration. Moving on in my fruitless journey to find a decent coffee shop that's cozy enough to make me want to stay and read in. This isn't it.

It is a cozy ambiance, perfect for a coffee break. Their brews are rich and aromatic, though sometimes the consistency varies. The staff is friendly, but during peak hours, the wait can be a bit long. a decent spot for a coffee fix, but there's room for improvement.

Checked out this place and got their Mayan Mocha. I usually just drink black coffee but like to occasionally try out a different drink at a local place like this. Was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. Place was a little crammed but just shows it was busy because of how good it was.

I order coffee here probably three times a week (for the past few years since I moved to Grandview) and I just can’t say enough about how much I love Crimson Cup. The best flavored lattes around, the frozen option for everything is so fun and yummy. The service is always great and if a drink isn’t perfect they will happily remake it for you without making you feel bad. (Although they rarely miss the mark, usually it’s my fault when I order something wrong!) My favorite coffee shop in Columbus and will continue to be!

nice seating and very cozy and warm but still modern. it was decorated very cute for Christmas when i went. workers were very nice in recommending things to us as we had never been before and made great accommodations (non-dairy milk). loved the atmosphere and will return when i visit columbus again!

mobile ordered a chai latte and GF cinnamon donut and both were so tasty. highly recommend the donuts if you are GF, great soft texture and lots of flavor

Worth the awkward entry and tiny parking for the best lattes around. Relaxed and inviting atmosphere, pleasant staff, and all the coffee fun you can swallow.

I used to spend a lot of time in the Clintonville location. Now I come here sometimes. Recently I came in for an iced chai. I double checked to see what milk they're using, and it was Borden. I was pretty bummed as they used to use Snowville and other higher quality milks. I had already ordered so I just went ahead and got it, but going forward with this knowledge idk if I'd come here again. Additionally, my chai looked and tasted like milk with a tiny tiny bit of spice. It was literally white with almost no flavor. Meh.

The staff is super friendly, I would recommend getting coffee based drinks. I got a matcha latte but the matcha is not whisked well so I keep getting grits of matcha in every sip and I feel like i wasted 5 dollars. I’ve been a few times and have only had one good matcha drink but the coffee based drinks are consistently great.

I stop here a couple times a month. They have good cold brew! Staff are friendly and quick and it’s worth a stop. I tried the seasonal rosemary nutmeg latte and it tastes like a prank. It’s so bad. Maybe it would taste better with dairy milk, but I usually get an alternative milk and I don’t think it’s made me dislike anything else. I disliked it so much that I wanted to warn people against getting it. It’s like a savory, watery coffee broth, beware.

Great place to get locally roasted coffee (most if not all from smallhold farmer relationships) and pastries. Fun atmosphere and pleasant staff. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite places in the Columbus area. Their black bean breakfast sand which was amazing and their coffee has so much flavor. I love this place to study and hang out.

Awesome little coffee shop. Stopped when we were in Columbus dropping our daughter off at CCAD. We will be back to visit her and will go for coffee again when in the area.

Quick service, good cold beverages - if it is back on the menu (was in Mar 2021, but not Apr 2021), I would definitely recommend the malted cold brew, it's very unique, refreshing and a good treat without being crazy sweet.

  • 2/5 Cassandra C. 2 years ago on Google
The drinks taste great, the environment is welcoming, the service is adequate, BUT I have gotten sick from their drinks multiple times now and so has my husband. I'm not sure what it is, maybe improper refrigeration? But as much as I'd love to go back here I am not spending another Saturday in my bathroom. Sorry guys.

First time there, very busy place, friendly staff, speedy service, ordered latte and strawberry smoothie, both taste great, looking forward to return next time in Columbus.

Staff: always friendly here. Space: there's a huge amount of seating, especially outdoors. This location has some great character inside. Menu: good variety. Could always be better for tea drinkers like me, but it is a coffee place... Huge bonus is that they're a locally owned business making an impact globally.

Quite a cozy coffee shop with a lot to choose from. I had the Nitro Cold brew Cocoa Nib and I was very pleased with it. The baristas were nice and very helpful with describing the variety of options. I enjoyed sitting near the fireplace on a chilly afternoon. The free WiFi however forces you to like a Facebook page and verify that you have done so before it becomes functional - a bit disappointing for something that is used by people passing through town. Likely done to boost social media presence.

This is a nice smaller coffee shop! It can get crowded at times and would love a drive through, more seating, and better parking. The drinks are generally good.

Had to revise this review after coming here for several months, probably 20+ times. I keep trying to love this place but every time I’m disappointed. Parking is a catastrophe, today I ordered a drink, couldn’t park for several minutes and decided to just give up and drive away. I’m truly befuddled why roast dates are not included on their coffee. EVERY roaster that produces quality coffee that I’ve had does this. It’s crucial information for making coffee at home. It feels like they are more interested in being able to keep stock on the shelf for long periods of time than making sure every customer takes home quality coffee. The craft espresso has its good days but the house espresso is rarely dialed in. Cappuccinos are drowned in milk, when I’ve asked them to go east on the milk so I can actually taste the espresso, it isn’t very good. I understand I’m pickier on all this stuff than the average customer. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, the quality is sadly poor.

Love this place! The apple pie chi was amazing-it’s always busy, but they get to you quickly!

  • 2/5 Kyle S. 1 year ago on Google
I asked for an Americano and was served pour overs. Pretty sure one of the beans was not even the one I was asking about. I didn't realize the mistake until I was driving away and since I had 6 more hrs to go, I decided to not go back and correct it. The coffee beans I got (Armando's Blend) grind and brew amazingly. The flavor is exactly what I expected coffee to taste like when I was a kid and enjoying the brew smell. Extremely satisfied with the beans/roast....not the service.

This is the absolute most wonderful little coffee and tea shop. They have amazing coffee beverages that are perfect for the coffee connoisseur or just someone who is looking for a good drink. The associates are friendly and the drinks and food are consistently good. I highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed.

Love Crimson Cup whenever I’m in town visiting my sister! The service is good and fast for how busy they tend to stay (testament to the good coffee and service). I love everything I’ve had there but the Matcha Freeze and Chai Freeze are my favorite. I’ve never had anything like them anywhere else.

I frequent both UA and Clintonville-The coffee portions are not as they used to be. I was in Clintonville this morning. I mentioned this very thing and they took my coffee back through the drive through. As I watched them "remake" it, they took the old whipped cream off and then added more whipped cream then before. Wow!

We usually get bagged coffee from here to last us a few weeks - Armando's blend is the steady - but every time I get a latte it's always just right and clearly very good quality coffee, not like your *ahem* chain joints..

Crimson Cup is decent. They dont really do anything better than the other coffee shops you can find in Columbus, but you're still supporting a local business and it's probably going to be better than Starbucks.

  • 5/5 Paige L. 3 years ago on Google
The best coffee in town, hands down. Their frozen drinks are my favorite. The employees are always friendly and helpful, too.

  • 2/5 Jeremy C. 3 months ago on Google • 1 review New
Nothing ever goes right when I go to this Crimson Cup, which is unfortunate because it’s an easy walk my house. Today, they sent out a code that was meant to take $2 off a hot or seasonal beverage. As always, the employees have no clue about any ongoing promotions or how to use the app at all and acknowledge no responsibility for it. When I was finally able to recall the code that had disappeared with the notification, to retrieve the discount, it was programmed to take off 2% instead of $2. (Ten cents.) They said it must be “a glitch”, but there’s nothing they can do. There’s never any manager or anyone to talk to that knows anything about what’s going on. But the drinks are quite good. Never use the app to order anything, though.
