This is a great little coffee shop. Each drink has a very strong and smooth flavor. The barista's seem very focused to put out a great drink everytime. I hope to come back here again soon. This is by far the best coffee shop in Columbus! I have visited this great coffee shop consistently for a while and it is still the best coffee shop in Columbus maybe the best in Ohio. When I travel out of Columbus I compare the other coffee shops to Florin.

Hands down, without question, my favorite coffee and cafe in Columbus. I’m a huge fan of some of the other shops and roasters in town, but nothing compares to Florin’s coffee. Their space is awesome and always well stocked in unique beans. They also have the best team in town that are always happy to help you out! 10 out of 5 stars, for sure. 🙌🏻

North Linden finally has its own coffee shop! Very flavorful, unique coffee served here and a selection of snacks and teas at incredibly reasonable prices. The team here has put in the work to make this a welcoming place and it shows.

Great tasting coffee for a surprisingly nice price. I've had some of their beans before to make at home but the other day I stopped in for the first time. A great cup of coffee better than most other coffeeshops in the area. The inside is airy and the smell inside this shop is perfect. It reminds me of walking into Staufs in Grandview for the smell. I've had their "parent" company Hemisphere coffee which I love as well. This coffee is high quality and you will not get a cup of coffee where you just drink it for caffeine.

This is a cute little coffeehouse with nice owners/staff. I really liked the vibe. They have vegan and gluten free baked goods. Some are from Pattycake. There are donuts too but I can’t remember from where. I really liked it and recommend it. Will definitely go back.

The Columbus Coffee Trail brought me here! Was tight on seating when I first walked in, but a spot shook out by the time I got this beauty of a cardamom orange seasonal latte.

Florin is hands down the best coffee shop in Columbus and it’s in North Linden. The coffee is brewed to perfection and expertly crafted by the wonderful staff. Your drink will be made by Zach, Kelly or Lily so feel free to say hello and get to know them - they all rock. And the store is owned by the most wonderful couple who love their community and the impact that their business has on the people it affects. Their coffee bags are 100% carbon-free and recyclable (drop them back off at the store so they can take them to a special recycling place) or you can use them as the most amazing home decor. And if the coffee doesn’t draw you in, the storefront full of plants certainly will!

Humble. The best coffee, best prices, and friendly. Even if your order is Togo they will STILL make the creamer art. That's passion. Love this place!

Greated at the door. The workers had smiling faces and looked you in the eyes when ordering. The service was quick and coffee tasted great. You should definitely try a poptart pastry.

EXCELLENT COFFEE! A great and welcome addition to the North Linden area. I have been in the neighborhood for over three years now and didn’t realize Florin had opened a cafe until this morning. Normally I need to head over to Clintonville or Short North to find a properly crafted latte or carefully roasted beans, not any more, Florin is my new favorite coffee spot...and I can walk there! It is easy to pass by without noticing the cafe. They could use a larger sign, maybe a couple colorful chairs and umbrellas out front, but it’s definitely worth looking for. My only other critique is I hope they do well so they might consider opening an hour earlier at 7 am. By 8, I am usually already out at work. If you love coffee, do yourself a grand favor and search them out. I think their addition to the neighborhood will only help North Linden continue its climb as a great place to call home.

This coffee shop is definitely a hidden gem and a cute little place to get some work done or catch up with a few friends. I was thoroughly impressed with my chai latte and chocolate croissant! I will definitely be advocating for others to visit this place and hope to visit myself soon!

Tried Florin Coffee for the first time yesterday and was VERY impressed with the staff who helped me figure out vegan options (their chocolate sauce used in mochas is vegan, along with the pastries they have available!) My iced almond milk mocha was delicious! Plus bonus points for the incredibly cool paper cup it came in! We will absolutely be back.

I'm moving away from this hood soon but this is a place I'll miss greatly even though I didn't go often enough. Perhaps I should get their coffee delivered eh? The coffee is absolutely amazing and the staff, even at 7am, is rad as hell. I do believe all the pastries are vegan but ya fooled me. Bring your own coffee cup if you're a slow sipper...these cups don't seem to hold up well according to my partner who had one leak/get soggy on him pretty quickly.

Very good quality coffee. First time here, wanted to work. Glad I could charge my laptop, there's socket on the wall. They have a variety of breakfast goodies too! The latte I ordered has so much caffeine (I can tell the beans were well roasted!), I couldn't finish the 16oz cup...

Lovely atmosphere, helpful staff. I find the espresso quite fruity, not bitter. I don't prefer fruity, I would much rather a nutty espresso. So I don't love the espresso flavor. I'm looking forward to trying the coffee.

This is a legit, socially-conscious café! Delicious coffee. Great atmosphere, sweet spot to work on a laptop. 1st hand experience: the maple twist goes well with a cup of Ethiopian. Great musical taste as well. Zach (manager) is awesome, and the store owners are very friendly and helpful as well. Check this place out--it's easy to find, two quick turns off of 71.

Wow! I’ve been a coffee drinker for less than two months. I’m glad I started with a flawless, thoughtful coffee; backed by hard work, detail and most of all care. Florin sits in a quiet safe section of The North Linden area. The shop is spotless and super cool. Sounds nerdy, but their T-shirts are awesome! For the high quality coffee Florin offers - it’s by far the best pricing on 12 ounce and 16 ounce to go cups. That’s just the tip of the iceberg… I bought a bag of Ethiopian beans from them. They are incredible! The list goes on, but there’s not too much in each chapter, just enough. Precision is Florin’s theme. It’s nice to see a coffee shop like this in our neighborhood. I love Clintonville, but this joint has more flavor and more heart. We need that. Given the current situation, not to put a damper on things, they have carry out available and their hours of availability are listed on the website. Still plenty of time to get your fix and encourages buying a couple bags of coffee to make at home.

I've been here probably a dozen times by now. I usually just grab a cup of light roast to go. Service is always fast and friendly. And the drip coffee is as good as any other I've had in town. The couple times I have stuck around I've found the place cozy. It's got that sort of 2020 clean, sparse coffee shop aesthetic but it's much warmer and homier than most coffee shops are these days. My go-to espresso drink for evaluating a coffee shop is a cortado. Florin has consistently delivered an excellent one. Rich, velvety espresso with just the faintest, welcome hint of bitterness. The steamed luscious, creamy steamed milk. Top-notch-coffee.

This morning I got a Cardamom Orange Oatmilk latte and an everything bagel with roasted veggie cream cheese and it was honestly the most "emily" order I've ever had. Like I'm pretty sure they created it just for me. SO FREAKING GOOD. Resisting the temptation to go right back and get it again 2 hours later. Also, the vibes in there are immaculate. So cute and bright and cozy and friendly. 10/10 would recommend 👌

What a cute lil shop. I have wanted to try this coffee shop for a minute, but I've always worked past two. Today I finally got my chance. Ordered a Lavender Cold Brew. It was delightful. And only $4! The cup is compostable, truly, and as a gardener I simply love that. I told the cashier it was my first time and she was so polite and welcoming and helpful when ordering. Lovely plants too. I will be back.

Been here a bunch of times, usually just to get beans but they give you a free espresso, cold brew, or coffee with the bag purchase. Beans are some of the best in Columbus (comparable to Roosevelt). Espresso is consistently the best around and the people are always super friendly every time.

  • 5/5 Katherine M. 8 months ago on Google
First time here with kiddo. We got three doughnuts (2 blackberry and a chocolate doughnut with crushed pretzels on top), a pop tart, a cold brew and a cortado. Kiddo loved her blackberry doughnut and said it was delicious and tasted just like the berry. My pop tart was a berry kind was equally flaky and filling. Hubs really liked the chocolate pretzel doughnut and said it was airy and well balanced for sweet and salty. While our roommate had the other blackberry doughnut and said she would definitely be going to Florin coffee in the future for more. Finally the most important the coffee. The cortado was silky and the cold brew certainly pleased our roommate. Prices are reasonable, location and parking are great, and customer service was great as I watched the staff handle multiple requests at once. Atmosphere was clean, bright and welcoming that makes you want to bring your family for those early Sunday morning breakfasts. We will definitely be back again soon.

Wonderful service. Phenomenal coffee. Exceptional beans (I highly recommend the Columbia Rafael Rojas). All in a part of Columbus that's lacking a local, quality coffee shop and roaster. What's not to love!

  • 2/5 Jennifer H. 1 year ago on Google
Coffee was fine. Pastry was fine. There is no shortage of locally-owned coffee and pastry that's fine. But I'd go somewhere else where the employees' attitude isn't laced with such condescension and myopathy.

  • 5/5 Jason M. 2 years ago on Google
Great service, pastries, and wonderfully low-key location. Most importantly, one of the top roasters in town, with a wonderfully curated selection of coffee. I have been drinking Hans' roasts for four years and they just don't get boring.
