What an adorable coffee shop! They have the best pastries and they are very kind and welcoming! They make their own vanilla syrup and its delicous. We got the ham and cheddar pastry, and the blueberry cheese danish and wow. It was awesome. We only stayed in town for 3 days and we visited every single day! Best local coffee shop hands down.

Such a cool place to spend some time over a sunny Sunday morning, I bet it’ll be super busy in the mornings and it’s up-to your luck to get seated inside. It had a huge line and it moved very quickly, staff were so good and helpful with the orders. You can actually have a very good view inside of the kitchen and enjoy all the baking process. Felt like Most of the items were out already,We ordered Coffee, coffee cake and spinach egg sandwich which was so good. Bit disappointed with coffee as it was cold by the time it reached me. Below are some of my captures from this place ……

Saw the reviews and had to check out this spot. Ethiopian coffee on pour over was fantastic and the egg sandwich was amazing. Atmosphere was really great with lots of seating options. Only odd thing was that they do not have wi-fi so if you do not have a hotspot, it might not be the best place to post up and work. Pastries looked incredible as well.

I wanted to surprise my colleagues with the famous fox in the snow cinnamon rolls. We had been talking about them for a few months. So I got up early and ordered six of them for my colleagues. The staff was super friendly and the service was fast. When you walked in the restaurant definitely had a cozy fill to it . I ordered my self the egg and bacon sandwich which is always phenomenal. I always looking forward to going back to fox in the snow. One of my favorite places to eat at in town.

What a lovely caffe! Beautifully designed, lots of options to choose from, but make sure to go a bit earlier than closing time as sweets might be sold out. Loved the atmosphere, the vibe, the service and the whole experience!

Immediately upon walking in, Fox in the Snow Cafe shows how special it is. There is plenty of indoor seating, with a bar facing the windows to where the pastries are made, and then more seating outside with plants, shade, and another bar. Speaking of the pastries: WOW! I devoured the pecan roll too fast to snap a picture. Then I did the same to their egg sandwich before snapping a pic of the second pastry I tried (it was devoured quickly after). Their egg sandwich is perfection, with a creamy and sweet mustard, the perfect amount of gooey and sharp cheese, and a soft and savory egg finished with some micro-greens on the best bread you’ll ever have. Their coffee is fantastic too! Even just their drip coffee is clearly made with the same love they put into everything else. It even comes in the most ergonomic mug I’ve ever held. The mug is thick enough to keep the coffee warm, and it has a handle with a flat top to rest your thumb on, while being large enough and far enough to the side to keep fingers from touching the hot part. Lastly, the people working there were just so pleasant. I’m definitely going back tomorrow!

really beautiful interior and pastry display. This place is really busy but we were still able to get seats outside. The pastries were delicious but it’s best to share because they’re large and rich. Good coffee. Just a great atmosphere, but be prepared to stand in a long line (that moves quickly) if you come on a busy day

Went to Fox in the Snow and enjoyed their famous egg sandwich. Very good- bacon is slightly candied and the egg is soufflaed With some arugula and a light aioli that had a tinge of mustard to it. Overall well rounded. Hot chocolate was good. I grabbed a couple of pastries to go too (not pictured) which were both delicious. A definite go-to. No wifi inside. But tables are bustling with conversation!

Delicious pastries! We got a strawberry and a blueberry pastry. Plus a ham and Swiss roll and a breakfast sandwich. All the breads and pastries were so tasty. An excellent place to stop for breakfast.

One of my absolute favorites of a local coffee shop in Columbus! Their pastries are way better than going to an actual bakery. The Ham & Swiss is my absolute favorite. For the coffee enthusiasts, they did a wonderful job on their pour over!

There is a HUGE need for coffee shops that serve top notch pastries and breakfast items. Most now a days just serve coffee and small dessert items. Fox in the Snow provides open seating - though, be prepared to share space with others as it can get busy. The breakfast sandwich (egg, bacon, arugula) stole the snow, though the vanilla latte was amazing too! Highly recommend to bring your friend for morning meet-up to enjoy coffee, food and laughs. Would encourage to expand as tons of people were waiting for tables. I’ll be back (when I’m back in Columbus).

Before leaving Columbus, we stopped by Fox In the Snow Cafe for an early brunch. This location has a decent sized parking lot. We waited in line for about 20 minutes before we ordered and sat down. The fresh pastries were tempting. We ended up getting a Black Coffee, Iced Chai, and 3 Egg Souffle Sandwich (2 with bacon and 1 without bacon). The Egg Souffle consisted of sliced egg souffle, melted cheese, arugula, and dijon mustard on a fresh buttered ciabatta. It was a healthy and hearty way to start the day!

The breakfast sandwiches as Fox in the Snow Cafe are next level delicious. Coupled with the pastry selection, you’d be hard set to find a better place for coffee and chill in Columbus.

Cute little fika place with the BEST European vibes. Chill environment to go for brunch or to work. Yummy pastry and breakfast options. Limited parking that fills up fast, so we had to pay to park. Next time I’m definitely trying the egg sandwich, it looked amazing.

It is said when you visit a city, drive around and find somewhere that has a long line. We were heading to Fox in the Snow anyways but the giant line extended out the door and around the corner let me know that we were in for a special meal. The anticipation as you move slowly into the building, past the glass cases kitchen, starring at the rack of pastries behind the giant display of pastries. If the esthetics don’t start to pull your heart, the scents will. I would of eaten it all if my sister didn’t use logic to convince us to just slightly over eat. The breakfast sandwich was the star with its ciabatta bread, soufflé egg, bacon (which I wish was crispier, but still delicious), greens and a dijonaise. However that’s not to denote any of the pastries. The blueberry galette was beautiful and the coffee cake is just good to pass up. In other words, it’s worth the hype.

Very tasty, this eatery lives up to the hype. I recommend the Breakfast egg & bacon sandwich and the Strawberry Diamond pastry. The cream is more of a tasty custard and feels very light. Recommend coming early or ordering ahead of time for pickup, we got there 5 min before opening on a Saturday and there was already a line. They get you through fast, but something to be aware of.

I'm from Chicago, it's easy to find good food anywhere. This place really stands out to me. Coffee, lemonade, pastries, breakfast sandwich, they are all so good. When I come to Columbus I always stop by for a breakfast sandwich and drink.

The breakfast sandwiches and coffee were really good! The pastry we got was eh, probably because we got there around 11A. The biscuit was stale and flavorless. I would recommend getting there early for the most fresh and yummy bakery items.

Busy Sunday, the line was long but it moved quickly and plenty of space to sit and enjoy a delicious egg and bacon sandwich and oat latte. Also was able to find a parking spot in the free customer parking lot. 😁 Good day. Tasty cinnamon rolls.

Fox in the Snow was our Sunday Coffee ride destination last weekend and it was great! They had a roomy parking lot for all the bicycles in our group (about 12 cyclists) and with COVID-19, there was room for us to stay apart do we can take our masks off to drink our coffee and have their delicious treats from their menu. The sticky buns were decadent, and the breakfast sandwich was amazing! All the items on their menu are worth riding 15 miles on your bike for!

This is a great place to get coffee and something for breakfast. The egg sandwich with bacon was excellent. I ate it like 3 hours ago and am still full. Their portions are huge so don't be too dismayed by the price. They're a little expensive but not too bad. Great atmosphere and style. Just hoping that they'll open up indoor seating soon.

I ordered Latte and cinnamon rolls. The rolls is very tasty with the roasted walnuts. Latte is good enough though I waited for a long time and the Batista didn't call out so the latte was already not hot when I approached her to ask.

Soufflé egg sandwich is so far the best American breakfast I ever had. We hit this place on a Sunday morning and it was very busy. I told them not to put any meat in my sandwich yet, they did like usual. But I complained and the Chef came over to our table to apologise and exchanged it for a fresh one without bacon. That’s the kind of Service you get in high end restaurants. I liked the rustic finish and the look of the place. Patio seating is a highlight. Perfect if you want to take a date / friend for breakfast or brunch!

I want to spend every Sunday morning here. Sipping hipster coffees, inhaling egg sandwiches, and reading some book. It can get crowded, but taste the pastries and you'll see why! Love the open kitchen concept where you can see the chefs in action.

Honestly, some of the best money I've spent. It's q busy place because od how popular it is. The food is delicious, with the money I paid originally considered high price until the food arrived and I realized how wrong I was. The prices are good fir the portions you get, and the quality isn't lost with the quantity. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had, with banana bread to boot. Some coffee on the side is delicious, and overall just a delight to be here. Will be returning!

This cafe must need to visit whenever you're going to Columbus. The place is always packed with people so you might have a hard time dining in but when you are in at the right time you can find a vacant table it's worth it anyway dine in or take out. The pastry is so so delicious many varieties of goodies, and sandwiches, and the coffee is so well crafted to perfection! I can't wait to go back to Columbus and visit this cafe again. I highly recommend this to everyone.

TLDR: Good but not lived up to the hype. I’ve had a lot of people rant about it and maybe that was why I had unrealistic expectations. Don’t get me wrong. Very good pastry options and quite the range of choices. Delicious blueberry cheese filled mini pie. Biscuit was a bit dense for my taste, but the raspberry jam was really good. Oatmeal was velvety and thick. Add ins came on the side and we’re good. Coffee was fine. Cappuccino was on the dark side of espresso. Nothing to write home about, but nothing bad either. I would totally come back, but it wouldn’t be my first Columbus choice.

I stopped by this city on my way to NYC and we were craving for a good cold coffee and some dessert and google showed me this coffee shop! I really loved the atmosphere it reminded me of Brooklyn’s coffee shops and staffs were amazing! I ordered iced coffee and coffee cake, the coffee had a lot of acidity which wasn’t something that i usually go for but the coffee cake was so scrumptious LOVED the vibe and the way they decorated and designed the interior!! If i have a chance i’ll definitely get some brunch food

I think this is the best coffee and pastry shop in the city! All pastries are so tasty (dough is really good, like in the best pastries in Europe). And the overall atmosphere… a lot of light. Very stylish! Definitely worth visiting. However, on weekends it’s really crowded there, be prepared to wait. But definitely worth it 🫶🏻 Actually, I’m curious who is the owner? Is he Native American or come from swh

If you have to pick one place to eat breakfast in all of Columbus, this should be it. I had heard great things about the food here and it did not disappoint. We were here on a Friday late morning in August and the place was still mobbed. There were people sitting inside and outside, literally people everywhere. However, despite the crush of people, the staff were friendly and pleasant. And I loved the vibe of the place! If not for the continuing ebb and flow and wanting to free up a table for another party, I could have stayed here for awhile. Other notes: Pitchers of water on every table- amazing! And the bathrooms were ridiculously clean, considering how many people were in and out of the cafe. Now, at last, the food. Oh. My. Goodness. The iced Chai was good as expected. The hubby and I each ordered on pastry and then the same breakfast sandwich (souffled egg). He loved the cinnamon roll, but was not a huge fan of the cream cheese frosting, prefers traditional icing (I loved it and ate some of the frosting by itself). My strawberry diamond was fantastic - recommend trying this for yourself; tender and flaky pastry with strawberry filling. Finally, the sandwiches! The picture doesn't even do it justice. This is a must-order item! Improbably, it all works: A square of light and fluffy souffled egg, Swiss cheese, candied bacon, arugula, and Dijon mustard all on a ciabatta roll. I love breakfast sandwiches and this one, unexpectedly, was one of the best I have had. If you are in Columbus, I highly recommend a visit here.

Excellent!!! Even if there is a line, worth the wait! It was recommended by a friend, and I recommend Fox in the Snow as well! Try the souffle egg sandwich, delightful!!! Met some nice people there as well. Can't wait to go back to Columbus to eat there again.

We ran by Fox in the Snow for coffee on our way out of Columbus. A friend said we had to try it while in town and recommended the breakfast sandwich, but we had brunch plans somewhere else, so we grabbed a few pastries to take with us instead. I have to say, the lattes we got were the best lattes we have ever had! They don't do basic-white-girl flavors so don't expect pumpkin spice or lavender syrup options, this place means business, and we were glad for it because it was fantastic coffee, they did it justice. The pastries, thought hey looked beautiful, were unfortunately just okay flavor/texture-wise (I'm a pastry chef). I've definitely had better. I really wish we had a chance to try the breakfast sandwich, so we will definitely try that next time we're in Columbus. The atmosphere was top notch, beautiful space. One other con was it got VERY crowded right after we arrived, so be prepared for a line (though it's worth the wait).

I love their fox logo and concept! First time visiting and I will be happy to come back. The staff is friendly and they are ready to give you good suggestions. My coffee was awesome (black, pour-over). I had an egg sandwich, the bread was great, the cheese not so much but they compensate it with the rest of the ingredients. The place is pretty nice and you can seat inside (it gets busy during the morning) our outside in a small patio area.

  • 3/5 Robert A. 3 years ago on Google
Overhyped, it's just OK. Kind of a rip off ($16 for a small pastry, breakfast sandwich and drip coffee!). The pretentious hipster attitude is so exhausting. The food wasn't bad but for what I was charged I expected a bit more both in quantity and quality. If you're into paying for "experience" this might be your type of place, but it's simply not worth it otherwise.

  • 2/5 Spencer G. 3 years ago on Google
Honestly this place was a very big let down. I had heard a lot of great things about this establishment and i was thouroly disappointed with just about everything I ordered. The sandwiches were soggy with un cooked bacon. The mocha we ordered just tasted like black coffee with nothing added. They even found a way to mess up hot chocolate with it tasting like water. In short I will not be coming back and would not recommend to anyone.

Lovely Cafe in the middle of Columbus. It's hidden and not easily visible from the main road. Parking is limited outside, ample seating inside but the turnover is pretty high. Staff is very friendly, services is fast and food tastes delicious. I would recommend hitting the treadmill before and after your visit as the food is irresistible.

Fox in the snow cafe was our first stop on the Columbus coffee trail! It had a long line but that just made it obvious it was a fan favorite. The line moved very quickly and the staff were so respectful and kind. It was very clean and COVID friendly there with the staff all wearing masks. It may have been our first stop but I'm wondering if it is going to be the best one! Try that egg sandwich it's amazing! Thank you again!
