I absolutely love 5 bean coffee! I usually get the caramel cream frozen and add oreo ! I also enjoy the 5 bean frozen which originally got me hooked! I prefer them over Starbucks any day! Yes I said it 🥰😂

I love this coffee shop. The baristas are amazing, know the menu well and are there too answer any questions you may have. The décor is cute and the shop is set up to be very intimate. I ended up getting the Salted Caramel Latte w/ Oat Milk($6.50) and it was delicious! They also had tasty looking pastries and bagel options. I have a feeling this is going to be my new favorite coffee place. They also have a drive-thru if you don’t have time to run in.

This is one of two very solid local coffee shops I've discovered in Pickerington. Most of the drinks come hot, iced, or frozen, and they have all the essentials. The frozen mocha (with almond milk) was quite tasty, sweet, but not overwhelming -- it was like a well-reserved milkshake with a hint of coffee. A hot (oat milk) basic latte is a more typical order for me, and it was a good 7/10 -- quality was good, and I'd drink it again. They have a drive thru. It's not super spacious inside, but there's a few tables, Wi-Fi, and outlets if you want to get some work done. They also serve bagel sandwiches, muffins, and some other little snacks, but I've yet to try any food. Overall, there has always been great service, and I'm happy to keep coming back!

Review Date: May 28th, 2023 5 second coffee stop. Once again, Doug and I were up early at our hotel and decided to get coffee while everyone slowly woke up from their drinking stupor. As we drove up the road to 5 Bean, we actually drove past it since we didn’t see it on the left side of the road. We then backtracked and missed it again as we didn’t see it. We decided to drive around to the back side of the building to see if GPS was being goofy and the only thing back there was… the back of the stores. As we were pulling up to the main road, we looked across the street and finally saw 5 Bean. Either GPS was way wrong or they moved locations recently and it wasn’t corrected yet. We rolled up and the second we stepped inside, Doug got a call for everyone’s drink order. I snagged myself my as-of-late usual Americano and Doug got himself a Frozen Hot Chocolate. Yep, you read that right. The baristas were friendly and fast. Despite it being the morning rush of people getting their bean juice, our 6 person drink order took no time at all. (We had 7 people in our group but one was dead to the world until 5pm that night.) Once the drinks were loaded up in a drink carrier, we dipped out. The place was nice, if not your typical coffeehouse. If our group would’ve showed up and decided to sit down, we would’ve taken up most of the seating area. So, keep that in mind if you and some peeps want to come for a relaxing time. As for my drink? It was good. Americanos are a very varied drink based on how they do their espresso. This one was a bit more on the bitter side, which didn’t pair well with my slight hangover but was good nonetheless. It was half gone before we got back to the hotel, if that tells you anything. Lastly, they had these nice little stickers for sale and I wanted all of them but feared losing or damaging them in transit back home. :/

Delicious coffee! Boyfriend says the iced white mocha is better than Starbucks! Strawberries and cream freeze is amazing! Frozen Carmel latte is delish! And I love their sign out front that they change often with cute sayings :)

I went there today and I ordered the red velvet Oreo latte. When i ordered it, I asked for a small red velvet Oreo iced latte. The barista asked if I wanted whipped cream and I said no thank you. I got the drink, and it was a Frappuccino with whipped cream. I questioned if I ordered the wrong thing but I reread the board and it said it was a latte. I went back up to the counter to ask if the drink only came as a Frappuccino or if it was just made incorrectly. When I walked to the counter the barista making the drinks looked at me and said “is there a problem” and I asked if the drink could only come as a Frappuccino and she gave me a weird look so I said the board said the drink was a latte and I ordered this as a latte but I received a Frappuccino. She gave me an annoyed look and told me that the Frappuccino WAS a latte. She had such an attitude and it genuinely ruined my day. I am a barista myself and I know what a latte is and what a Frappuccino is. I don’t know if this girl knows the difference or was just trying to gaslight me into thinking I’m wrong but it was not okay. I wouldn’t have cared if the drink only came as a Frappuccino, I’m only upset because that barista was so unbelievably rude and apparently unknowledgeable about the different types of coffee drinks

Huge menu, reasonable prices, fast and friendly service with a drivethrough. What more could you want from a coffee place? Absolutely nothing to improve. We will be back. I recommend the 5 Bean Coffee iced.

I have now gone here a few times and every single time I am impressed! Their barista's are always very friendly and helpful and always greet you with a smile. The coffee is always top notch too. My personal favorite is the five bean latte with whatever flavor I feel that day. A must for any coffee lover!

I was looking for a local coffee shop on Google maps and decided to try this one out based on the ratings and the photographs so we stopped in and I was wonderfully pleasantly surprised. The staff here was super friendly and very efficiently fast as well. All of our drinks were absolutely perfect. I really thoroughly enjoyed my Buckeye and the others I was with got drinks as well and both enjoyed them. Highly recommend this shop, great coffee and really friendly staff.

This shop is conveniently located across the street from my apartment complex and right next to my nail salon. It’s on the way to the freeway which is also convenient. I stop here a few times a week and the staff is always very friendly. I love that they give good recommendations on drinks I should try. The food and drinks are much cheaper than larger National chains. But that doesn’t mean the offerings lack taste. They have the best vanilla latte I’ve ever had and their seasonal menu is unique and delicious! I recommend this coffee shop to all of my friends and family!

Tried 5 Bean today for the first time. Being new to Reynoldsburg, I wanted to find a coffee place other than Starbucks. This place is definitely worth it! Staff was super nice going through the drive thru. The iced white mocha was super good and my son absolutely loved the frozen hot chocolate drink that he thought was "his coffee" lol! We will be back! 5 stars! ♥️

Cute little coffee shop with yummy coffee and bagels! I got a medium cold brew with Hawaiian salted caramel syrup and cream and it was so good! I also got an Asiago bagel with veggie cream cheese to make it a meal, and it was so yummy as well. The portions are good for the price, and it beats Starbucks coffee and snacks any day. We will be back when in the area!

Coffee is very good. White Mocha is always my go-to, whether hot or iced. Service is great, always so nice and welcoming. Drive thru definitely takes forever, waited 30 min to get through, but staff was very nice. Wish they had an order ahead! Only thing truly missing.

My husband and I went here for the first time this morning and really liked it! The coffee drinks we ordered were delicious, and we liked our food. I got their keto bagel (which I believe is also gluten free) and veggie cream cheese, and it was great! The staff were friendly and fast. We’ll definitely be back!

Our drinks were so so yummy, I absolutely loved it and the baristas were nice! Only complaint is it was a bit pricy, same cost as customizing a cold brew at Starbucks.

Usually love it. Not greatest experience today girls were laughing at Drive thru when I took my order, then I get to order and they ask about my drink again. Then proceed to put whip cream on it and as it comes to window one girl goes no no. I’m not sure if she didn’t think I saw anyways they literally switched the cup and wiped the whipped cream away. Do better

My husband and I were in town for a weekend and stopped in one evening and it was delicious. Great service, and, LITERALLY, the best coffee. It was so good we drove 40 mins out of our way on the way out of town to have it again. Next time we’re in Columbus it’s a must!

If I could give this place zero Stars trust me I would. I went to this restaurant I love this restaurant it was like a cheaper Starbucks but then one day I got a peach mango smoothie and it tasted sour but I thought nothing of it because their smoothies are usually sour so I drink the whole thing then I got food poisoning because something was in the smoothie I don't know if it was the yogurt or maybe the fruit was moldy and old I don't know but trust me DO NOT COME HERE😡😡 and don't get me started on the customer service the workers are extremely RUDE. Please don't waste your money here

Bestie brought me a heavenly frozen caramel drink last week, and I about DIED! It was the best I'd ever had. I am totally in love with this place. It will be hard to go anywhere else!

The coffee was okay, I’ve been there a handful of times. The last couple times I went I brought my gf with me and she found hair in her coffee. The second time she was there she found 3 long blonde and red hairs in it. It seemed purposeful. A few times I went the girls had nasty attitude so I chalk it up to them not respecting us as customers and trying to get rid of us. There’s no way you get 3 long full hairs in a medium cup of coffee by mistake. And it wasn’t the first time we found a hair. Just be aware if you aren’t the “typical” customer.

Pretty nice hidden little coffee shop. Love that it's family owned, I would rather give them my money then big cooperate places. Once you find what you like, it's pretty good. The service is always friendly.

Great hometown business. Owner and employees are awesome they never disappoint. I love my coffee, and I am always happy. Just a wonderful, happy place. They do a great business and when lines are long, it is still worth the wait, and you leave feeling good.

I have always had great experiences at 5bean, have met up with ladies from church and was introduced to a local charity that serves families dealing with childhood cancer. I don’t live nearby but I’ve made the trip on many occasions because it’s always been a pleasant experience when meeting there. Full disclosure: my niece became an employee (before continuing on nursing school) which only gave me another reason to visit! One particular complaint on here stood out to me- for many reasons, mostly because I recognize who this person is, but also because of the incredibly lengthy complaint that was made months ago, and was just recently added to. It’s not even believable- who continues to support a local shop for years if they don’t like the coffee? How miserable must one be to put so much energy/effort into complaining? And to hold onto that negativity for so long that they would come back to add to that review approximately 6 months later. I’m going to take the higher road and not disclose the “connection” this person has, but do hope everyone realizes that some reviews are left by people who are just being spiteful and mean. Sadly, the small business owners could be affected by these behaviors, but thankfully the 4.7 rating shows this small business and their countless satisfied customers were not. Another full disclosure: I am a loyal, daily Starbucks customer- but since said complainer mentioned them, I took the liberty of looking up the Starbucks stores surrounding 5bean and none of them are rated 4.7…ijs ~keep it up 5bean!

I am actually not much of a coffee drinker, but my sister and my niece needed a midday pick-me-up so they searched for local coffee spots in the area we were traveling and we stopped here. My sister had a matcha latte, my niece had the buckeye blitz, and I had the vanilla cream latte. I tasted them all 🤣🤣🤣 and they were all yummy!

Been going to this shop for years, and not because I like their coffee. I would go there because I try to support local business. Waited patiently in line for 21 minutes for 7 cars ahead of me. Order 1 simple latte. Got up to the window and was COMPLETELY IGNORED by the girl at the window. Had to wait at least another minute while she took the order for the car behind me...still without acknowledgement from the attendant that she saw I was waiting. When I asked her why she made me wait she said, "Everyone had to wait for you.". Wow! Then she suggested I never come back! Wow! I did go back to get a refund, and was told by the staff inside never to return as well! Long story short, after a return call from the owner, my suggestion for how to handle customers was responded with, "Am I back in school that you need to tell me how to handle my store?"!!! Well, she lost several long-year customers over this. All I asked for was an acknowledgement at the window and an apology for my wait time. These folks need to realize that some of their customers may have less patience that day because they just found out someone they love has cancer, or maybe they forgot to take their medication that morning, or maybe they just lost a loved one...any number of things. And all they wanted was one cup of coffee to face their day. Customer service is a dying art. Sad. And, as you can see by the owner's response, she has no concern for her customers. I was in no way asking her to change her procedure. I was only asking for an apology from her...which she NEVER gave. She only defended her staff. When I pulled up to the window, the girl at the window never acknowledged me, made me wait even longer in order to wait for the person behind me that was apparently ordering the store. I would have been perfectly fine, but NO acknowledgement from the girl at the window when I pulled up, NO APOLOGY from her, just AWFUL! Then the girl at the window told that if I wasn't happy just don't come back! So I said I wouldn't...except I DID go back to get my money back!!! How awful of me!! Wow. I went to Starbucks the other day. I waited for like two minutes in line for the car in front of me. The girl at the window apologized for my "wait". I told her NO PROBLEM!! THAT is how it works! You can understand now why 5 Bean employees have zero clue on how to handle a customer...their owner is clueless. I tried.

Fast and friendly service. Place was clean and easily accessible. I ordered the 5 bean mocha. It did not disappoint. So smooth and delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Very friendly happy people. Their many options for flavors are awesome. Especially to have sugar free syrup options is terrific. I'm not diabetic or need to watch my sugar but I know many people love the options of sugar free and still enjoy something sweet either if they need sugar free or just want it as an option. Has a drive through too if in a hurry, but inside is nice with homemade candles/cups made by local people to sell.

The best little coffee shop on the east side of C-Bus. Great drink selections, and a staff that makes you feel welcome…I highly recommend 5 Bean Coffee! One of the best small businesses in C-Bus and worth checking out .
