Definetly felt a little accosted at first when we went in over the occupancy number and were yelled at to go outside. Then we ordered some a brunch box and the coffee for the crew (large/expensive items for the hospice wing of OSU) We were then smugly told that we could have ordered it online and it could have been ready. I mean I get that but you advertise it all over the inside and outside of the store and I know you're busy, but no need to be rude. The gentleman at the register though was very nice and kept us updated and our spirits up and saved the trip. The food was very good and we had a number of items, however we didn't get any napkins or anything, may have just missed them as a covid precaution. Recommended upgrade : Your POS system should start at the prep tables and transfer to the register. I had a large order for family and had to read and remember the entire order at the register so I could pay. This will lead to quicker times, less fraud, and faster service overall.

I would like to be able to say that I had eaten a sandwich yesterday [1-26-2023] at the Bruegger's Bagels at 1630 Neil Ave. [several blocks east of the OSU Wexner Medical Center] but what had actually happened is that I had had to eat my sandwich somewhere else because Bruegger's Bagels is currently "takeout only." Google Maps reports that that location of Bruegger's Bagels offers "dine-in" in addition to "takeout" but that is not true at that location at this time. There are metal tables and chairs immediately outside of the front door but I had been unwilling to sit outside in 35° weather so I took my sandwich to a nearby heated building to eat it. My food choice for yesterday had been a Farmhouse Breakfast Sandwich: "Farm-inspired and stacked with layers of flavor, the new Farmhouse Egg Sandwich, made with two fresh-cracked eggs, slices of savory peppered bacon, ham, cheddar cheese, and country pepper cream cheese on a toasted Cheesy Hash Brown Bagel provides a hearty start to the day." I had been given the choice of "one egg or two"; I chose one egg. I had been planning to attend a meeting at the Younkin Success Center [two doors to the north] within the next half hour so I took my Farmhouse Breakfast Sandwich to the meeting room [well before anyone else had arrived] and ate it there. My Farmhouse Breakfast Sandwich had been delicious but had been quite difficult to eat neatly because the top and the bottom layers of that sandwich had been sliding in different directions [certainly because that sandwich contains cream cheese]; in addition, small and medium-sized pieces of my sandwich would fall onto my table each time I would take a bite. Thankfully I had been able to clean up my table and wash my hands before anyone else had arrived for my meeting. If you are looking for a delicious sandwich and you are willing to eat it somewhere else, I recommend the Bruegger's Bagels at 1630 Neil Ave.

A great breakfast bagel place near Thompson library. Really love the berry cream and freshly baked bagels. Their bagels tasted phenomenal even only with vegetables and creams without proteins.

Couldn’t wait I had to eat it in the car. Staff changes a lot but ALWAYS helpful, kind and working hard. They supply tons of medical professionals and students with great coffee and bagels. I’m always pleased. Will return :)

rude staff. filled several orders before mine. when i asked about my order, the girl yelled “i’m starting yours now.” why didn’t you start it before? this has happened twice. the staff needs customer service & sensitivity training

I ordered for pickup. I ordered a plain bagel with cheese and eggs and a side hash brown, and my husband ordered his own bagel (was correct). They gave me a sausage egg and cheese on an herb and cheese bagel with no hash brown. Won’t be returning

Slow, terrible workers. Arrived in the store at 11:19 for two delivery orders that were supposed to be ready at 11:26. I was the first delivery person there(4 other delivery people came in during my wait and left before I did. ) but the last to receive my orders. It took me over 20 minutes to receive my orders and I feel like they were going slow on purpose. They didn't make my orders until they made everyone elses. Slowest and worst pickup experience I've had. The workers laugh and giggle and talk trash while going slow.

Used to be able to stop outside and call inside the store and they would bring it out to you . No parking since all the street parking is always taken .

I tried to come in at 12:05pm but they were closed. It wasn't even a holiday. Their website and their front door say they're open to 1pm.

I ordered an Herby Turkey sandwich and Egg, Sausage & Cheese sandwich and they gave me an herby Turkey WITH sausage instead of turkey (ew) and NO egg sausage and cheese sandwich. Like what?? I feel like you have to try really hard to make that mistake. The sausage was cold, by the way. Not that I was going to eat it anyway.

The coffee CAN be good if you get lucky. Most of the time, it's being made by someone who just got hired within the past few weeks or was trained very poorly. This establishment is clearly operating in the greediest way and it shows. Putting very little resources into training and maintaining a loyal staff, putting forward the bare minimum in terms of quality. The coffee would be good if they actually cared, but for now I would go to an establishment that is slightly less corporatized.

I got the western sandwich the quality of the beagle was good, but the sandwich was put together with next to care. The majority of the toppings were off the sandwich by the time I got it. The cold brewed coffee was surprisingly good, and prices were fair.

Sandwiches were cold in the middle. Not food safe. Service also sucked. I ordered an asiago cheese bagel and they told me they were out. I asked if I could wait for the next batch and they said they were out. A new batch came out before my sandwich was done. They straight up lied to me. Staff was pushy. Will not be going back.

Showed up 10 minutes before they closed, there were about 3 people in line total. Was told I was too late. Don’t advertise staying open until 1 when you close 10 minutes earlier. Given the crowd I EASILY would have been out of the store by closing time. It’s just a bagel, all u gotta do is toast and put some cream cheese on it, it’s not rocket science and doesn’t take that long

I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and I ended up getting sausage and egg no cheese at all and the sandwich is very greasy

9/10 times have had nothing but good experiences and good food. I just wish they were open longer, because customer demand is clearly there around lunch time. If you get there 10-15 minutes before they close, you'll probably be turned away due to the long line.

The service is very inconsistent. I arrived 1hr after opening and allot of flavors of bagels are not available. The bagel quality is also off sometimes. Bagels are squished and dry - it’s like the dough is old. Very disappointed here. You should have all of the varieties of bagels available at least for the first two of business. It’s very annoying to travel and park to find more than half of the bins empty

4.29.2022 10:30 AM. I Ordered a small dark roast, charged $2.69 for a medium, it was not hot, polite server exchanged it for house blend, again only warm. One sip and I left it on the counter and left. If you are going to charge these prices for a cup of coffee, please monitor your coffee temperature. This is our second bad experience here, the last time, the manager practically threw us out after he then informed us they had closed. My wife and I spent all morning at the eye clinic and were starved, we thought we were fortunate to find this place for a bagel and coffee. We were served, then the manager informed us that they were closed not realizing that they closed at one P.M.

Now I know why I never tried Bruegger's Bagels in my hometown. The Begal was dry, the egg was not cooked, took too much time for the food to arrive. Customer service horrible. McDonald's bagels taste better than this place. Never again.

Good bagel with prime rib (whatever) and my favorite hazelnut coffee. Like other reviewer, just got in the car and ate it then. 😁

Is there a way to get a hold of this store? We ordered and payed for catering online that was not available when we went to pick up and cannot get a hold of anyone on the phone.

Had a bacon egg and cheese on plain bagel. The bagel was tough and I really didn't like the "pepper bacon " they use. I ate the sandwich but won't return.

I have never had a bad experience here and the employees are always extremely friendly. I've also never had to wait long for any of my bagels to be ready. Make sure to tip service workers everyone!
