I came earlier in the week really wanting a gluten free and vegan treat, and the barista was so friendly and told me to come Wednesday. Lo and behold, they had gluten free and vegan cinnamon chip donut or Oreo donut. The cinnamon chip was the best thing I've had in a long time, and I don't even like donuts! They have other solely vegan options as well. The drip coffee wasn't my favorite, but I loved the environment and friendly staff.

Hands down the best coffee in Columbus. The staff is full of knowledge, kindness and is willing to share everything they know. You can tell they care just the way the owner, Jeff, does. If you haven't tried Cafe Brioso you are doing yourself a disservice. Drop your old favorite coffee shop and give Brioso a try.

One of the best coffee spots in Columbus, if not THE BEST!! Lots of seating and a cozy reading area with cushioned seats by a corner window. The roasting happens right in this location so you feel like you’re a part of the process and not in a franchised looking location. Happy staff, good parking meters nearby and the coffee is fantastic.

The best coffee in town. Hands down. The owner works very hard to ensure that every cup the customer receives is thoughtfully sourced and freshly roasted. We are obtaining our house blend for our shop from Brioso since we know it is high quality. I can't say enough positive things about their coffee.

Really cool coffee and roastery! The coffee here is so fresh since they roast the beans here. The staff is friendly and talented with making a nice latte with latte art. Brioso has a nice coffee shop vibe with plenty of seating. This may have been the best tasting coffee we had during our trip to Columbus. Definitely worth checking out if you’re serious about quality coffee!

This is my favorite coffee in Columbus and is an absolute must visit if you are in town and into great coffee. I’m a huge fan of their fruit dried pour overs but they also have some of the best espresso in town as well. Great knowledgeable people making a great product.

Great space, great staff, and some of the best roasted beans in the Midwest. They also use superior equipment with highly trained baristas.

The coffee was magical-- full of flavor but not overly sweet at all. Please (pretty please) put a sign on the exit door warning people it's a step down going out the door for clumsy people like me :)

If you love good coffee, prepared by people that clearly care, this is the place for you. If you just want a quick cup of Joe, they have that too. It's definitely geared towards the former though.

Best coffee in Columbus. There is a genuine care in the quality of coffee and the sourcing of the beans. If you're looking for Natural processed coffee, this is the best place in Columbus! Great prices and cool little coffee shop with something for everyone from extreme coffee aficionado to a casual dark roast lover.

Delicious coffee and even better atmosphere! The people who work at Brioso are so nice and knowledgeable about coffee and I felt better taken care of than most other places I visited in Columbus. As for quality, I don’t think there’s any better coffee in the city, my latte was literally perfect, one of the best I’ve had in a while. I tried a few other shops in the area and none of them were comparable to Brioso!

Haven't had the opportunity to come to the store in person, but I ordered a 6 month gift subscription for myself (a total steal, by the way) and have been getting the coffee for about 4 months and the beans are absolutely wonderful. I've made drip coffee, cold brew, and espresso with them all and they've all been fantastic. I love having freshly roasted beans delivered in a timely manner every 2 weeks. Nothing bothers me more than over roasted beans, and these have been just perfect. Can't wait to get to visit the store when I'm in the area.

Went out of my way to try Brioso after hearing good reviews from my knowledgeable coffee friends in the area. It was absolutely worth the trip ! The shop is the perfect combination of cute and eclectic, and my latte was even better than my already high expectations for it. The staff made my time there comfortable, and you can tell they care about each of their customers ! Absolutely make this your new coffee spot.

The good: the iced honey vanilla latte is good. I haven’t had it since their downtown location and I was happy to see a location near my new job. The N. High location staff member that I spoke with was very helpful when I ordered online. I specified that I wanted it to go to Long St, but when the order was completed, it said pick up on N. High. I called them and he was able to send it to the correct location. The bad: when I picked up my drink at Long St, I felt immediately unwelcomed as I walked in. It was my first time in, so I looked around for where I should pick up, and the barista asked if she could help me, but it was like I was inconveniencing her. I told her what I was there for an online order. Instead of asking my name or order, she said “oh you’re the one who ordered it at the other place.” While they continued to make my drink, both baristas were deep in conversation with another customer, which was fine, but the way it was like I didn’t even exist to them made me feel like they did not want my business. It left me with such a bad taste in my mouth. So, while I’m happy to have found one of my favorite coffee drinks again, I sadly won’t be back at the most convenient location for me.

I had 2 different pour overs while having a stay with my ill daughter in Grant Hospital. As you might imagine, the delight of having a great cup of on-site roasted beans was a much needed boost. I highly recommend you visit them!

I drive from Pickerington to Brioso just to pick up a couple bags of their Expresso Roast and get a Cappuccino. I now only come for the coffee and miss the Long and High café.

We’ve been on a coffee hop of all the top rated and reviewed shops. This one was on the bottom of the list. Still better than any chain or what you can make at home. They have dairy free options and vegan gluten free donuts.

I have nothing but praise for this coffee shop. It's spacious inside with a decent amount of seating, good WiFi, and outlets everywhere, so you can definitely plug in and work. I Ioved the daily pourover I had on my first visit -- honestly one of the best and most interesting pourovers I've had. Mocha with oat milk was pretty much perfection for me -- mildly sweet and strong. The drink menu keeps it simple for the most part and the pastry case has all vegan options from Happy Little Treats. You can tell the staff loves coffee, loves what they do, and there's plenty beans available to buy!

First visit thoughts. There are several tables to bring your laptop and work. Some are barstool height, and some are shorter. The chairs suck and it's easy to slouch, leaving yourself a sore back afterwards. Workers were nice. Iced latte was average. I wish there was some water available. So many coffee shops offer that nowadays, without having to ask. It's fun to try something new, but I probably wouldn't go back.

I don’t write public reviews often, however, I felt compelled to do so out of sheer respect. I have been ordering beans from Brioso for around 4 years and they have just been so consistently great the entire time. I always have a bag of Brioso beans in my home. I don’t to visit their locations as much as I’d like to, but when I have, I have always had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed what I’ve ordered. Their prices are consistent with local roasters of their caliber and I feel that they have the best value per cup around, at least for my money. They are also quick to ship and locally deliver. Thanks to the entire Brioso team!

So excited to have visited Brioso? It's been a while for me, since they were located on Gay St. I had a great experience. Parking was easy and abundant, staff were super friendly and helpful, coffee and food was delicious. Love the atmosphere too. Will definitely be back.

The coffee was amazing! I got a mocha vanilla latte and it was the best one I’ve ever had honestly. We went to quite a few coffee shops in town while visiting and this was hands down the best one. There wasn’t a ton of seating, and the room was pretty quiet for a shop; but the coffee was super good! Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting and don’t know which one to go to. This is the one! 👍

I don’t even know where to start. I came in for a cup of coffee and sit to read. The barista asked me three times if my order was to go. Each time I said, it’s for here and that I wanna stay and drink my coffee. I am a black woman in my late fifties. I wasn’t rude and I’ve been in the service industry for thirty years. I don’t know if I will be back.

Brioso is my top stop for coffee in Columbus. The spot always delivers consistent, quality coffee and beans and the staff are very knowledgeable in brewing and roasting. The Long Street space is nice for working, meeting, or reading a good book in the window seats.

Love their coffee, their new packing is colorful and expressed their variety in coffee. Love they carry COLOMBIAN beans!!

  • 5/5 Jon B. 1 year ago on Google
Always get my whole beans here, great variety and always new blends to try. Baristas make a mean flat white…which is more than I can say for Starbucks they don’t even know what a flat white is.

Filled me up in no time. Really nothing but enjoyable experiences here, I'll be back. It has a great feel to it. They have so many reviews for a reason.

  • 5/5 Cathryn O. 3 years ago on Google
Best cold brew I've ever had. It was chocolatey, not fruity, which I definitely prefer. Will probably be making a habit of coming here for more.

Really nice space with delicious coffee. You can see where they roast, and they have a ton of beans available for purchase. Had one of the best coartados I have had in along time.friendly baristas as well.

The Chillin' like a Villain is one of the best summer drinks I've ever had. If you want your coffee to taste like graham crackers and cinnamon rolls, it's the best.

  • 5/5 Ian A. 4 years ago on Google
This is has got to be one of my favorite coffee shops in Columbus. I meet a friend here nearly every Friday and the baristas here nearly single-handedly converted me from my former Starbucks dark roast palette to enjoying "natural fruit" and "honey" process light roasts. I highly recommend trying whatever natural unwashed Ethiopian they have on hand. They also rotate different roasts for espresso drinks which can be incredible.

Brioso roasted coffee beans are expensive, but possibly the best I've had. I love coming here and trying a new roast. Drink wise, I've only had their regular cold brew and nitro. Both very good. I wish they were open longer hours on the weekend.

Many can claim the roast their own beans, but few can claim that it's actually good, or this good for that matter. Or this affordable, or this consistent. Well worth a quick trip downtown

The Restaurant is Very Nice, on the weekends the have live Music. I ordered Camarones al Ajillo, the rice was not fully cooked. The server asked me about the food, i told her about my plate but she was indifferent to my complaint. I will never eat at that place again.

The few times I've gone this year, their coffee makes me and my friends nauseous and sick. I would recommend not going to this coffee shop.

  • 5/5 Ryan C. 6 years ago on Google
Not to be dramatic, but the Cubano changed my life. My spouse and I went during their happy hour too, so our drinks were under $5, combined. Like. This place is making dreams come true.
