Let me start be saying, I love going to Waffle House establishments. The employees are engaging and friendly. This location was no different, but the time it took to recieve your order was a wait. Sitting there waiting I could not figure out why because there was not that many customers. When order arrived, it all looked delicious. My wife and I had the All Star but her eggs were fried hard and I ordered over easy. Unfortunately, my eggs turned out to be fried hard. I had the hash browns to be "country" and the gravy did not taste too good. I was about to help my 3 y/o with her scrambled eggs when I noticed a hair in her eggs. Needless to say, she did not eat them. I am pretty disappointed with this location. I did take pics, though.

Disgusting employees with very bad customer service not one professional bone in their body. I go in there around 1:40 am right off the back the woman was like you taking out I said no and she got to talking bout the system was down but I could cash for take out but I was like why can’t I do the same for dining in so that’s when she got this attitude about me asking the question long story short if don’t like your job quit. I went to purchase a waffle and sausage platter. The order was taken promptly, and she even prepared, well started to prepare it. She put the batter in the waffle maker and walked away. She took a few orders then walked around talking to 1 of her friends that entered the restaurant. She wasn't waiting on them, but yapping away with them. I observed the 2 cooks busy trying to fill all orders. 1 cook finally asked her did she forget the waffle. She walked towards the waffle maker and rudely attempted to plate an overcooked waffle, anyone could tell it was overcooked and crunchy. I attempted 3 times to get her attention to tell her that is not what I paid for and will not accept that to eat. She ignored me until the cook stepped up to her and told her that she couldn't serve me that. She slammed it in the trash and walked away so aggressively. The cook who had finally caught a break from orders made my waffle excellent! I was very dissatisfied with the cashier's behavior entirely. Once the waffle was done and she brought it to me, she was talking across the room to her friend and just dropped my food in front of me and walked away. I definitely will not order anything if I return in the future if she has to be the one to wait on me.

I'm torn on this review. The service was awesome. The food was good. The cook followed NO cross contamination safety rules. Touched bacon with gloves. Did not change. Scoops hash with the same gloves. Grab bread to make toast with the same gloves. Took toast out of toaster with the same gloves. So be careful at this Waffle House might get a little extra seasoning.

The food is excellent but the nose rings that the waitresses are wearing now is disgusting. Management, please put a stop to this nasty looking trend in your restuarants..........!

Pam is the best server there i know and she works at the other waffle house on 431. She's awesome and nice and will take care of you with the most beautiful smile. Love that lady she's the best

I can’t believe I called to place an order & a lady answered and said “who is this” .. & pretended like she couldn’t hear & made a noise like the phone was breaking up & hung up. That is so lazy & unprofessional , idk to laugh or call corporate. SMH! I WISH I CAN GIVE 0 star.

Hats off to the chef he knocked it out of the ball park best waffle house experience. I’ve had in a long time I will be back.

Lady gave us our food and left 😭 We waited around for a while to get our drinks refilled. We just got up n left, didn't even finish our mf waffles.

Very clean and we'll kept location. Food was prepared better than expected. Waitress was thorough and attentive. And the jukebox is always a hit.

Great employees work here. They are all so kind and loving people to be around. Walked in I was greeted right away, the food was delicious, I made the right choice coming to this Waffle House. My breakfast craving was very satisfied 😊🙌🏾

Hubby and I went out to eat this morning, never ate inside before. Went at a good time wasn't too busy. We ordered 2 All-Star Breakfast. Waitress had a lot on her plate, she put our order in few moments later our eggs, toast, hash browns came out. Waitress said meat would be out in a minute...few moments after that she brought 2 of the thinnest waffles I have ever seen, still no meats, said she seen out meats on the grill, brought out our bacon sausage had to be cooked again so gave us extra piece of bacon (which was hard on edges and almost not done in the middle) finally sausage comes out, had to send back my husband's biscuit it was burnt and hard. Never did receive syrup for the waffles...but wish I had had 2 more waffles dropped cuz they are so thin. Anyway may or may not be back to this particular one.

I worked waffle house from 1985 to 2012. Reviews for waffle house on hwy 80 yes. Great food Great management team. Joe and Jennifer. These ladies are the bombGreat cooks. Especially Neal brown. My son is a fast and wonderful cook. Check him out on highway 80 waffle house Monday night at 9 pm thru Thursday 7 am. He's great cook . One of the best teams and great cooks there. Best in phenix city Alabama. Drop in and see them your won't regret it. The T-bone is the bomb. Delicious 😋

I am a regular at this waffle house location, i come here 2-3 times a week, and i always get exactly the same thing. I ordered triple hashbrowns with 6 cheese and a side of grits with 3 cheese, like I always do. Hashbrowns were fine. The grits had 6-7 pieces of cheese in it, AND the grits were so cold the cheese wasn't even SLIGHTLY melted. When I mentioned it had twice the cheese I ordered the waitress, Jennesee, gave me attitude and said, "It must be the way they stacked it, because I saw them put the grits in." I clearly saw 3 pieces sticking up out of it, and when I lifted 2 of them to try to mix it in, I saw at least 2 more on the bottom. I get the same order every time I go to waffle house. I know what it's meant to look like mixed up. This is twice the cheese. Not to mention, I had to ask for a plate cause the grits were falling out of the bowl. Normally, i wouldn't be upset with extra cheese, but these grits were cold, so I couldn't mix it in properly, AND they weren't even salted like usual.

I got the blueberry nougat waffles and they were pretty good. The waitress was very sweet and patient.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I called in my order but when I got there everybody looking crazy and nobody put my order in. Worst part is their customer service. They didn't apologize and take accountability for their mess up. All the staff was looking like O well. One server walked off. Yall need to do better. I asked how long would it take them to make it since I was there but they were like Idk but they should have went ahead and started my order since they messed up. The whole purpose of me calling it in. But i changed my mind and left. I wouldn't give them my money! Called my order in and Went to Bradley park waffle house. They have way better Customer service and actually had my call in order ready when I arrived.

First time customer. It took about 20 minutes sitting at the bar before someone asked us if we'd been served; there were 2-3 tables and one other person at the bar (who was the one who asked us if we'd been helped). The waitstaff were really personable and if I hadn't been hungry, I wouldn't have minded the wait.

Sunday around 10. Already had a mad customer when we walked in talking with the manager. We waited 45 min, asked about food, then she forgot to put the order in. Eggs were not scrambled .. they were all burned together, with no cheese.. asked for cheese.. We got bacon instead of sausage,we asked no onions .. got onions on the food. There was no one in there and I see why. Then a group of military guys came in .. waited 20 min .. no one says anything to them .. so they left and I told them I should have warned them. They said yea everyone was standing around and didn’t bother to take any kind of order or say anything …Bad experience.. I’m not the picky person or do reviews .. but this one needed a review.

This is my go to Waffle house. Food well prepared and service exceptional. Never too crowded.

Not the fastest service, but the workers were friendly. I had called ahead hoping to speed up my order but I still had to sit around for about 20 minutes waiting to get my food.

The food was good. I got a build your own omelette, bacon and coffee. The parking lot was full of vehicles but surprisingly the wait was very short. The service was friendly but slow.

This breakfast was delicious, hot, and on time!!

I literally asked for the same thing my wife ordered only I wanted sausage instead of chicken and I literally just got sausage egg hash browns and cheese so undoubtedly my order was unheard correctly any on the positive side at least it's good to consume
