The hospitality, ambience, foods, staffs - everything was too satisfactory while I was there with my spouse. Had an excellent experience! Would love to visit again with family n friends. Recommended if you want to escape from the robotic city-life and enjoy quality times with your loved ones. One another note: though I didn’t feel the necessity of it but they could have made a swimming pool for all guests since they are charging good; and having a pool is one of the major criteria of a 4/5 star resort/hotel.

Pros: Undoubtedly luxurious, secured, sufficient number of service staff Artistically beautiful spots, amazing places to capture photos Huge rooms, huge washrooms, friendly welcome Magnificent complementary buffet menu and taste Complementary easy bike service to explore inside the resort, sufficient number of complementary water bottles, free & satisfactory sitting arrangements all over the resort specially near the beach. Night view is fabulous. Sitting near the beach during night time is quiet pleasant. Cons: Beach isn’t available for whole day. It gets far away during low tide and mostly unreachable. Safe issues arise if someone wants to go near the beach during low tide. Service response is slow. Had to ask to times to refill complementary stuff. Asked for a standard hand-wash and got no response for two times. Insects were dropping off from ceiling throughout our stay. Insane food pricing.

We had a wonderful stay and most importantly their food was delicious, world class. We couldn't have asked more. The walkway and beach area had touch of elegance and it was clean and environment friendly. The room and the view are amazing. So close to nature and sea. They blended luxury and lavishness with nature. Definitely recommending

It's a good place to visit with family and as a couple. We went their on our honeymoon and it was great. We enjoyed their hospitality and their attention to details on everything. You'll find lots of places to sit around the resort to take pictures or just to relax. The place is located on the marine drive road and unfortunately there's nothing in the surrounding area other than the resort. For this you won't be able to go anywhere other than the resort unless you want to spend 800 BDT on auto fare every time. The food here is very expensive and average. The fish items are good, pizza is average, please avoid drinks they are a waste. There's a buffet breakfast which is alright but not the best. We really liked the room which was a suite. The other rooms also look nice and cozy. Great place to stay with your loved ones.

The Hotel is with full of natural ambient and quite. Hospitality is good. But it is not worthy compare to the room tariffs they charged. Food is also too too much expensive than that of any 4 or 5 star hotel in Bangladesh. The management should rethink about it. Local authority also to control the issue based on practicality of price of room and food.

I'm changing my review to a 2 star from 5 star. I had my honeymoon here, and was in love with the place. The place is completely rundown. Service has gone down remarkably. Room service, front desk and restaurant waiters serve you with a frown and irritated face whereas it was all smiles the previous times I visited. Outrageous price hike on food. And the food has very poor value for money. They charge you outrageously high rent for transportation. We contacted local rent a card and got way better and cleaner transport for much less. Mermaid is ruined. Not to mention broken furniture without any maintenance. Toilet flush was broken and kept together with scotch tape! Sub par complimentary cosmetics and dental kit. The breakfast has less items with sub par quality fruits.. honestly I would never buy such fruits, let alone serve to someone. "HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE"

Very very beautiful resort with great service! The buffet breakfast is delicious with lots of options - they even serve proper coffee by using coffee beans from North End! Only caveat would be that the restaurant is very pricey, but taste and quality of the food is top-notch. Highly recommended.

Their service was awesome. Everything they arranged and did was flawless. Could not complain about anything. What they have (I may miss some): 1. A dining place. 2. A dining place with AC. 3. A juice bar. 4. Well conditioned rooms. 5. Their own personal beach which only the guests can access. 6. A helipad.(Yes, people DO COME THERE BY HELICOPTER) 7. Nice sitting spots all over the place. 8. Many places to take photos. 9. Some swings from where you can enjoy the beauty of the sea. 10. A Swimming pool.

√ The resort will be an excellent choice for the newly wedding couples. √ In general, the services are good but do not expect much if you enjoy the offer price. √ They have 37 accommodations in total including beach 5 suites, 12 villas and the rest of them are beach bunglows. √ They have no common swimming pools. We can enjoy the pool facilities if you stay in suites and villas. √ Foods are real fresh and natural served at a morning buffet but do not expect much during the offer price. √ Do not reach the resort before checking in because we observed they do not allocate rooms even If it's empty.

Definitely one of my favorite resorts to visit. I love how private and separated this place is from rest of the crowded areas. Mermaid Beach resort has its own charm and it's worth it if there is a good offer. Food is average and very expensive but everything else is amazing. Customer service is top notch as well. The rooms could use better appliances and more frequent clean up. Would visit again!

The resort has an open beachfront restaurant, which is open to non-resort guests as well. The restaurant has great food and shakes and the ambiance is off the charts. The place itself is amazing but me and my wife found ourselves at the restaurant every now and then. The food there, specially the seafoods were outstanding. The service there was also amazing and the behavior of the staff was both helpful and friendly. On our last day at the restaurant we were served by waiter called Toyab who also gave us a parting gift ( a small flower bouquet) which Left a very nice impression about the service. It’s these small gestures that make an evening memorable.

Stayed at beach villa for 2 nights. Best sea view resort in Bangladesh. One can enjoy the sea view from the villa. Sea water comes near doorsteps at high tide. Ideal for newly married people, who want some quality time together. Thumbs down for food. Food is expensive, fresh but not tasty to visit the cafe again. not much authentic Bangladeshi foods. Breakfast was included, with limited menus. Visitors donot have much options to go outside to enjoy other foods.

Very nice place go to go, although the food is pricy. the fish is fresh and delicious, as well as the drinks. Their pizza is not worth the money. Their base, flavour and texture of the pizza are comparable to a cheap pizza place. Ofc since this is a resort on a beach their seafood should be amazing. But other foods on the menu are lacking compared yo the seafood and the prices

Our room was clean and spacious. I love that the water pressure is really great so I enjoyed it too much to be honest. It's worth every amount I spent. The place is so peaceful and the night sky just romantic!

Really Enjoyed our stay. Staff was really friendly and the main reason for choosing this resort over any other resorts was that we had access to Private beach which was only few metres away from the room we were staying. Initially planned to stay only one night but extended our stay due to the unique experience that we received from this resort. Definitely will be back in future.

This place used to be so tranquil and beautiful. I guess we came at the wrong time when there were a lot of repairs and constructions happening. The villas are mostly run down and in need of a lot of attention and refurbishing. There are visible garbages in different places which is an eyesore. The beach is not the one that you can expect to dip in and swim as it is full of mud. Maybe other people like it but I don't. The main attraction on the beach are the red crabs 🦀 I guess and the fishermen. Food choice is very limited. Quality is good but not much choices available. They are currently building a pool that all guests can use, finally!

Mermaid is one the best resort in the country where you get felling of going close to the nature & sea. The make the best combination of it. I have enjoyed the time spending there. Their supporting stuffs are very supportive & give the best support in the shortest possible time. You can also walk in the walkway and enjoy the roar of wave or sitting beside the sea. Their foods are out of the mark, so delicious. You can enjoy your best vacation there.

Calm, serene and relaxing. The location is great with the beach right in front of your room. Great ambience at night. Resort is very clean and no unwanted people hustling around. Food is amazing. However, all this comes at a premium cost. Food price is almost 3x and no good restaurants nearby. The city is also far away. Overall it is a great place to relax.

It is a huge and very beautiful place to spend any vacation with friends and family. Just a little far from the city but the marine drive road gave a calming view when we were going to check in. The night view is also very heart warming but i was too tired to capture it in my phone and its captured in my heart. The most splendid part for me was the various colorful flowers as a plant lover 😍😍😍.

Last time, I went to Mermaid Beach for the second time. Fantastic getaway for couples. Some of it's suites are also value for money. The new addition - swimming pool is also very beautiful. Their service is excellent, they will help you on anything if you ask. Security is also very good, there will be some guards available all over night. The only downside is the actual beach is very far. The beach is only near to suites in very specific months. Rest of the time you have to walk almost 3KM to reach the beach.

Visited 2 days back. The place looks like an abandoned junkyard. "natural and rustic" doesn't have to be dirty and unkept. The place needs renovation. The beach was not accessible from the villas, neither was it clean. Every spare place was filled with trash. The rooms were so-so, not justifiable of the price. The service was bad overall. Swimming pool wasn't well equipped. The staff were reluctant to solve issues and rather more eager to give excuses. All in all, nothing of this resort warrants the excessive price. You can get much better service with half the price elsewhere.

All of their food is well Cooked and testy. Price is expensive. People will say, it's a resort. It's for rich people. But i think 15-20% less price will be suitable. Behavior of their waiters was good and professional. Overall it's a nice and expensive place.

In a single word is is great place for relaxing. Only issue with the food. Their food price is too much high. Other than that, their complimentary breakfast is also good. Restaurant food is testy.

Naturally seaside beach resort. Ambiance of this resort outstanding. I have not stayed here but i can say that their services & behaviour is very good. No doubt price is high because of their premium level services. Unfortunately i went after lunch so I didn’t eat there & didn’t have time to eat at night.

No doubt the place is amazing. The environment, atmosphere and calmness make it one of the best places to have some quality time in Cox's Bazar. But what is not really appropriated is the price of all the food items of the restaurant. It is just unbelievable. Not even a great five start hotel cost this much. And compare to the price, the quantity and taste is not up to the mark at all. The pineapple juice taste was very average and very low in quantity yet it cost us 350+ Chocolate shake was also very normal and very low in quantity comparing with the price of 350+ So, not a great place for eating but a great place for chilling and great family pictures.

We took three bungalow for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed except for two things for which I doubt I will ever recommend Marmaid…. The rooms are infested with worms and insects, they could easily do regular pest control to ease the discomfort of the guests. Second the food is horrible and absurdly expensive. I don’t mind paying a hefty amount for horrible food. Breakfast Spread is just plain too with tasteless food. I hope they make some amends soon to ensure better future stay… By the way the staffs are just wonderful….😊

Really good ambiance. Perfect for couple. But their food just so bad, some of the dishes are uneatable. I tried tuna steak. Couldn't eat half of it. If you want the ambiance, go for it. But do the lunch & dinner in some other places.

If you are looking for an unique beach experience then this resort is just for you. Best luxurious resort I have visited in Bangladesh. Best part is their service. I am amazed to share that there isn’t one single moment I looked for a person from resort for help and I had difficulty to find one also they always greeted me with smile whenever I encounter any resort staff. Moreover they are very professional towards their service. I have stayed in Blue radio (Room with private Jacuzzi) and Room with common pool suite. It was my best beach experience. Also the resort area is very secured. There is a watch tower to guard their private beach area and also all time some one was walking to ensure safety of us whenever the hour was. The resort is very much organised and very much beautiful that I need to appreciate at last.

It gets 5 starts only for its welcoming and well trained staffs. I may not have been to a lot of places but there service hits a different level. I tried some food which was okay because I was expecting more from the chef. I can't talk about the rooms as I just went there for dinner. Hats off to the management...

The whole experience is like wow experience. I went there with my family on vacation. We had one of the pool side rooms. There are only 5 poolside rooms. The natural beauty of the resort is breathtaking. You can enjoy the vastness of the open sea from the pool side and beach side rooms. The service was also excellent. The room was cozy and neat. The use of organic soap, shampoo and olive oil in bathroom was interesting. Another thing that is worth mentioning is their food. Though they belong to a bit pricey side the taste and variety may compensate that.

Beautiful seaside resort with excellent food and service. Fresh homemade pasta and seafood are both superb. Nothing like enjoying a lovely smoothie while watching the tide come in and feeling the sea breeze on your face. Great ambiance on the whole.

Stayed for a week on last December with my wife and it was great. Include breakfast buffet and if you want candle light dinner then order food 1 hour earlier. Only thing is Beach villa slightly far from the sea but felt like water come closer at night. Overall wonderful experience.

Visited the restaurant in the resort. Quite expensive is the first impression but the food, the open air natural ambience, closeness of the ocean gradually sinks in and one realizes the value of the place. Ordered four different dishes and all were excellent. The paella tasted good but it wasn't the authentic stuff. One needs special rice and spice to create the real taste. The Cox special kalabhuna was exceptional. It was great experience.

Offers a good view of the sea but you have to walk a few minutes to reach the true beach. The villas are very well decorated and spacious but needs renovation in some places. Service is excellent. Food is hugely overpriced and tasted average. Should have swimming pool amenities as they charge quite a lot.

This place is great. The food, service and hospitality is top notch. I had planned for a candle light dinner with my wife two nights back which initially got canceled due to rain. They had done all the arrangements but it got disrupted. However, when me and my wife walked into their restaurant to have a regular dinner instead, they saw that we were upset and immediately the manager (most likely) made the arrangements again for the candle light dinner. We were deeply touched and ended up having one of our best times. It surely enhanced our experience of the resort. I look forward to visiting again.

Really great place to unwind and relax. A proper resort with all the amenities. HOWEVER, food is extremely sub-par for the price that you'll have to shell out. Bear in mind that this is quite secluded. Hence food options are next to zero, around the place
