Its an man made lake constructed by BWDB for irrigation purpose. The lake also facilitate recreation. This lake is surrounded by small hills cover with greenery ( reserve forest of Chattogram hill tract) I had visited this place in a gloomy day, also the time was near to sunset. I had enjoyed a boat ride ( whole lake plus a small water fall). Which cost us 1.5K BDT. However, there was also facility for kayaking, paddle boating. In a word this place is awesome, where anyone can enjoy clean and calm lake environment, water, greenery...

The lake is quite big and beautiful. You can go kayaking here; paddle boats and engine boats are also available. But the main problem you're going to face here is the washroom. There's only one washroom, which will cost you some money, but it's not clean. Also, there's a lack of trash cans, which is why trash is roaming all over the place.

Mohamaya Lake is the second largest artificial heart of Bangladesh located in Mirsarai, Chittagong. Its area is about 11 square kilometers. Mahamaya Lake consists of an artificial lake of 11 square kilometers built at the foot of the hill two kilometers east of Thakurdighi Bazar in Durgapur Union No. 8 of Mirsarai Upazila. Mahamaya Lake is a natural lake formed by mountain lake water covering a large area. There are amazing mountain caves, rubber dams and springs. You can take a boat across the lake and touch the cool water of the springs located in the distant hills. The feeling of bathing in the spring water of Mahamaya Lake is amazing. The project is under the control of the Bangladesh Water Development Board, which has taken up this project to ensure the irrigation water of the surrounding areas from the lake water and to make future hydropower projects. You can camp & kayak on the lake. In the off season the price is reasonable. But on the season it takes 2 or 3 times of the regular price. I recommend everyone to go on the off season to enjoy the natural beauty more closely. Do not throw away your dirt on tourist spot.

Mohamaya Eco Park consists of a beautiful lake. The entry ticket costs 30tk and if you get there by car, parking will cost 150 taka. I would highly recommend visiting this place in the early morning or the afternoon time when the heat isn't intense. The boat will cost you around 2000 taka. There's also a small waterfall called "mohamaya jhorna". But I'd say the main attraction is the lake which gives off the Rangamati vibe

Beautiful lake, satisfactory cleaned,need to appoint some cleaner to keep clean out side of lake & hill area, wash room facilities was not satisfactory, boat riding & kicking was wanderfull,not good for nightlife, anybody can enjoy from morning to evening, there are some small island in river, Authority can devlop these for tourist attrection
