This is a new concept (acquisition?) for IHG and it has potential. But for now it is somewhere around 50% and not ready for guests. - photos I have uploaded with the curtains CLOSED show the rooms have no darkening. On top of morning light at 5:30am, the parking lot spotlights keep the room nice and bright all night. By far the worst aspect of this hotel. - bathroom door is a frosted glass slider with no lock, facing the room. - Breakfast seating is extremely cramped and the food is a small café which requires ordering from a very limited menu... Not worth a breakfast fee. - room doors are extremely noisy when slamming shut - from the hallway you can hear inside all the rooms quite easily (music, TV, conversations) - room is big enough for more functional furniture like a long table under the TV or luggage rack but none provided. - exercise equipment in the room is a clear gimmick that just takes up space. - very sluggish elevators I won't stay at this concept again.

Pros: fairly clean room and free parking? Cons: Usually we have a great experience at IHG properties. We checked in at 11pm and the front desk lady was sitting on the side. She gave us a big sigh and made it feel like a huge favor to check us into the hotel. When we asked to reserve a second room for the night, she gave me a second big sigh and said there was very little availability. Quoted me a price that was 20% higher than the IHG app, 40% higher than Expedia. Instead of honoring the rate, I had to make the reservation on the app and return to the front desk for a second check in. No amenity offered at check in as a platinum member of IHG. No free coffee, tea or breakfast which is normal at this price point with other hotel brands. The rooms look spacious at first glance, but that’s because there’s no closet, no luggage rack, no sofa bed and no microwave that’s typical at other competing brands. Bathroom door is frosted glass, so if you use it at night, the light wakes up your travel companion. No blackout shade, so if you get a room facing the street, the lights are shining into your room. Walls and doors are very thin. You can hear all the conversations.

My daughter and I just returned from a stay at the Even Hotel in Norwalk and we were so happy with our time there. Jose greeted us professionally, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location in relation to places to eat and the interstate was perfect. My daughter’s favorite things were the in room yoga ball and mat, well appointed fitness room, and water bottle refill stations. I found the price to be a great value (there was no free breakfast, but most hotels in the area that I checked didn’t seem to offer one either). There was a breakfast that was offered for $15.99 per person. We will return to another Even Hotel when we get the opportunity! We had a very positive experience!

A very interesting hotel experience. Overall the lobby was clean, and the staff very friendly. But our online booking (through booking.com) never made it to the hotel (we had the email confirmation). Thankfully we got a room, though the hotel was almost fully booked, so we got lucky. The room itself was clean, but let's just say, unusual. It was filled with exercise gear, including yoga mats, exercise balls, and stretch bands. There wasn't much in the way of storage or desk area, but it was serviceable. There were also signs noting fees for missing equipment (one of the yoga pieces were missing in our room, so make sure you let the desk staff know). But the bathroom had a completely ridiculous design decision- it has a frosted glass barn door which offers NO PRIVACY! There is text on the door that is see through, and someone else in the room can see right through. Not to mention, any *sounds* are also wide open, soo.... The TV also had an issue where it was completely frozen in the middle of a workout video. The only way we were able to fix it was completely unplug everything , which we only figured out in the morning. Not a bad stay, but likely wouldn't be my first choice if I was picking again, unless we we had a special deal.

Dog next door started barking early in the morning and continued nonstop until we left around 10. I stopped by real quick a few hours later, and it was still barking. Fortunately, we did not hear anything when we returned around midnight. Otherwise, I would have requested a new room. The shower was nice, and the bed was comfortable, albeit a little too soft. I got a good price booking on Priceline with a mobile discount.

Great experience here. I particularly loved the flavored water in the lobby and the workout equipment room. Why not throw in a hundred crunches while you're getting ready for bed. 😉 Desk clerk was friendly, even in the morning when we left after an all night shift. I did see a dog and realized it was a pet friendly hotel. Tried not to think about that though. They have free pet treats in the lobby. And maybe bikes for use? One thing to note: the mini fridge in the room does have a small freezer in it in case you are wondering!

This hotel has hands down the thinnest walls I've ever had at a place like this. Throughout the night, I kept being woken up by the person in the next room simply because they were moving around and opening their bathroom door. It literally sounded like they were inside my own room. The next morning, I was woken up early by the housekeeping staff who sounded like they were inside my room or right outside my door, when, in fact, they were several rooms away and down the hall. It's clean and nice, but you can hear everything here.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I didn't have time to use the aerobic studio, but it was very nice. Unfortunately, no breakfast was included, despite being advertised. The ice and water dispensers were broken and the hotel had a strong smell in the lobby.

Great experience thus far! This hotel portrays a very healthy lifestyle approach with self-service amenities, full snack, juice bar, self checkout system. Featuring colorful and modern design and fixtures. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Phenomenal gourmet breakfast, not the regular mediocre breakfast choices.

Super clean super modern! Very nice hotel. This hotel was I. A great location here. The hotel was super clean and had a lot of great amenities. The rooms were ultra clean and full of great amenities. Our room even had a little work area with equipment. I will definitively be staying at Even hotels in the future.

Modern hotel, convenient location but no service at hall. The room was spacious but not forniture at all to hang out clothes. The bathroom with glass door was very disturbing and the door was a sliding door that keeps opening. It was very embarrassing. For the price we paid we have nothing complementary everything was to pay. We only have a coffee machine in the room with only 3 coffee pod we asked for those. Less than half roll of toilet paper and not extra roll. But exercise equipment in the room. Who use those? Very sad.

Front desk staff is courteous, making check in process quick and easy. Rooms clean & spacious with workout equipment . Beds and bed linen were very clean, as well as the bathrooms. Best amenities are in the shower....mounted on the wall there's scented body wash, shampoo/conditioner options which make your stay feel much more "at home" like. Don't hesitate to book your reservation here, you won't be disappointed.

First time staying at EVEN Hotel. What a great hotel. We had a very nice quiet room that had a Keurig coffee maker, small fridge and large bathroom, all very clean. Best of all it had a unique builtin vertical exercise bar (wish we had one at home) use with resistant bands as well as a large exercise ball. TV had videos with an assortment of workout routines. Plus they had a nice workout room, small food bar and game area. My wife and I will be looking for these hotels on our travels. Highly recommend.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Serving as a overnight on a trip to Maine it was a random pick from the internet when it was hard to keep my eyes open driving. After a short trip through some of the most amazing houses in Greenwich this clean pleasant hotel was a great place to stop and rest. Clean, contemporary and spacious with nice amenities. The check in person Q could not have been more gracious or helpful and his enthusiasm for his job was apparent. The rooms were cleverly quirky and included exercise opportunities in room—they smelled clean and quiet while the bed was comfy

Clean rooms. Very quiet even though it was full. Parking was a good even at 1am. Late check in was good and the morning staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was light but it was good quality. The coffee machine was awesome. Will stay here again if needed.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were well-equipped, with amenities for yoga and exercise, making it convenient for staying active during my stay. Additionally, the room setup was ideal for remote work, with designated spaces to keep laptops and work comfortably. However, one minor inconvenience was the bathroom doors, which were not easy to slide. This was a small issue in an otherwise comfortable and functional room.

I like the vibe and design ethos at Even hotels, this is my second one to try. I like the water at the check in, the coffee machine (free) and the market (uses your room key to buy things easily). The bar was closed on the Monday night which was a bummer and breakfast is order off a list - all very vague and hard to see how this worked, front desk staff not very helpful in the breakfast explanation. We decided not to parti[cipate. Rooms are neat, clean, reasonably spacious. Bed and bedding were very comfortable. Shower had hot water and good water pressure. Parking more than adequate and conveniently located for Norwalk with access to 15/Merritt within a minute.

I wish there was a pool for guests. Also, I couldn't figure out how to use the vertical bar in the room to work out. In general I wish some policies were more explicit/explained (like the market next to check in, or the cushions underneath the stairs).

This was my first stay in a hotel from this brand. I liked the fresh look of the hotel building as well as the rooms. Bathroom amenities could be improved. Rest was all good. The market near the lobby is a nice touch.

Booked two rooms, three-night stay. In the course of those three nights: a fire alarm and no one on staff had the foggiest clue what we were supposed to do. We called the front desk to ask if we should evacuate. The response from staff: We don't know. We erred on the side of caution and evacuated, as did several other very confused guests. We were promised an air mattress for one of the rooms. It deflated 10 seconds after inflation and was never replaced. Second day: Maintenance staff entered my sister's room unannounced three times before 8 a.m. After the third time, she was inexplicably told that she had to move to another room. My room: TV never worked. I had to buy earplugs because there was loud banging noise coming from the pipes in the bathroom. Blinds were torn to shreds and didn't work. Room wasn't cleaned as requested. Common areas are dirty and the elevator feels as if it will break down at any moment. Stay elsewhere.

Great experience. Stayed here last week when power was out at home due to storm. Despite it being a last minute walk-in booking, the staff was courteous, professional and accommodating. The room was very clean as well as the entire hotel. Grab a quick bite the next morning on my way out from their grab and go bar which was full of healthy options. I will definitely recommend to friends staying in town and will stay here again next time my power goes out!

I have been coming here for 10+ years because of price, location and service. This time price was good, comparable to others but I was loyal to Even. Service was better than usual, gym is excellent. The negative is the room was severely run down. Stained carpet, curtain for the window was a shower curtain liner…I kid you not. Same one they use in bathroom! Come on, step it up…

Absolutely love this hotel. It’s clean, modern, pet friendly and the staff is very nice. The patio is beautiful and a very nice feature. The rooms are small but have everything you might need (including exercising gear - which is kind of funny but a nice touch). The most important part is that the room is VERY clean, it smells fresh and the bed if very comfy. 10/10 would recommend and come back !
