This place is indeed a hidden gem. I am not sure if this a good thing or bad but the food here tastes authentic, true to the tradition and flavor and freshness. Service is superb and prices are great. I tried beef Bihari kebab, Cholay, Lamb chops and sesame naans. I must say the Bihari kebabs were so well made and succulent they were melting in mouth. Flavor was not too spicy. Just perfect. Lamb Chops were juicy and moist and soft. Sesame Naan must be an award winner. Crispy from outside but soft inside - they are just amazing. Quantities are also very reasonable. Overall this was a dining experience that took me back home to an authentic small specialty restaurant. Truly can’t wait to go back.

Hands down, the best Pakistani restaurant in New York. Great service and food!!

I was in search for a true Pakistan restaurant since years. There's one I found in NJ, but that is too far from my home. Spice and curry is close to my home. Mere 10 minutes of drive. This restaurant has restored my faith in desi food to the fullest. Almost anything I have tried from their menu turned out to be mouthwatering entree. FOOD 5/5: Their channa masala is on the top of the list. The aroma presented in channa is very hard to find elsewhere. Furthermore, for the brakfast, the omelet consists of thin layer, requiring intense attention in preparation. Lamb chops are out of this world. Ginger chicken is a must have, so is the Karahi chicken. Last, if you are not really a dessert person, BE NOW.... cause you CANNOT miss their kheer (rice pudding). ATMOSPHERE 4/5: Reasonable, relaxed, definitely welcoming. Bathroom could be bit cleaner. Don't let the grocery section deceive you. To me personally, food matters the most. Been to so many posh restaurants, spending hundreds, and walking out disappointed. PATRONS 5/5: Humble staff. Smiling faces. Patience on the phone. Not rushing to take orders. Would assist customers with consistent hospitality till the last minute before closing. PRICES 5/5: Unbelievable. I had to check my bill in first few visits to be assured that they included everything that I ordered. Compared to the quality of the meals, the prices are superb. I wouldn't mind paying extra if have to. Thus, this leave bigger room for the gratuity though. WOULD RETURN?: Absolutely. Most likely each time with newer friends to introduce. CHILDREN SEAT: Available. TAKE OUT: Available. DELIVERY: Available.

Great quick food option, fresh food and reasonable prices. Good for takeaways and catering. They also have a small grocery section which is convenient if you are in the area and do not want to trek to Hicksville.

Excellent take out ala carte. Wish they had a few lunch combo choices, but I'll be very glad that I have leftovers to enjoy a second meal!

Must try this place. It’s very affordable food place. It’s very small place, they actually don’t have much parking but the food is very testy. I loved their lamb chops, it very delicious. 100% recommend.

I ordered butter chicken makhani and goat korma full to go. Both tasted pretty authentic and full of spice. The portion sizes are quite small for the prices ($12 and $15, respectively). It probably cost a lot more to run a restaurant so the price about doubled compared to a couple years ago. Check out the latest menu I uploaded under "view menu". This is mostly a take-out place. There is a surcharge if you pay with credit card.

Halal food! I was hesitant to go to Spice & Curry Kabab and Grill restaurant because I was hungry and didn’t want to eat something that will upset my stomach. This is my first time at the restaurant and definitely will not be the last time. The Food was amazingly delicious! The price was great! The staff were welcoming! If you like spicy Pakistani food, this is a must visit restaurant.

Decent food; their kebab rolls are v good; their seating area is clean as well; they’re quite quick. There is a Pakistani grocery attached to their restaurant as well; if you need to grab something from there it’s very convenient. Price of food is significantly cheap - they offer almost all Pakistani food. Definitely try their achari chicken with butter naan!! They have a decent amount of parking outside as well. All in all good restaurant. I’ve eaten from here multiple times. They offer delivery service from doordash as well (possibly Uber eats as well) not sure. But definitely doordash.

For meat lovers in Nassau county there could be no better place than Spice and Curry at hempstead turnpike. Chicken or goat, it’s second to none when it comes to quality. Full marks to team Umair & Tahir!

I enjoyed my food here today for lunch. I had falafel over rice. I spurt some of there white snauce all over it and ate. It plenty of food for me a good stop for lunch. I would go back. Falafel was best I've had. I now realize their is a good falafel. Good stuff Spice & Curry Kabab Grill!

So I have read some reviews that raved about something called Chargha. We have never had this so decided to give it a try. We called up our trusted peeps at Spice and Curry to order Chargha and garlic naan. It came with some chutneys and salad. It was ready for pick up o. time. I must say, this stuff is pure awesomeness. I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on this my whole life. This is like the next level for fried chicken. Nice and crispy on the outside. Tender, juicy and and flavorful on the inside. Just the right amount of spice. It was a huge hit in my family, even among the more picky eaters. This is going to be a regular order for us. 10/10! Disclaimer: we know the owners socially as part of the ICLI community (though I wouldn’t really call us close friends). We have no vested interest in this establishment.

this is a "hole in the wall" kind of spot, dining area leaves something to be desired however, the food is excellent at a fair price.
