Really cool place! Me and a friend were on a road trip and stopped in just for coffee originally but when we saw that they had plenty of other good foods available we decided on getting an early lunch and ordered a pizza to eat there and some coffee for the road. It was good and plan on going back if we ever go this way again!

The Ouachita's was a very neat atmosphere in downtown Mena. I was surprised by how late they are open, they even have live music some evenings. We tried the house coffee and an Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte--WOW. The balance between coffee, milk, and flavoring was spot on. It was not overly sweet and you can still taste the coffee. It was delicious. I wish we were able to try some of the food, but we will be back next time we are in town.

We found the wait staff helpful and friendly. We only waited a few minutes for food. The environment is beautifully minimal and clean. Decor is lovely—trendy, rich tones with relaxing music and television. Ask for Bartendress Rachel. She was a lot of fun for chit chat and recommendations on drinks. We had cheesy bread (a must!), Bosco bread (pass) and I’m Not Alfredo Those Ghosts with a broccoli cheese crust (surprisingly delicious, thin crisp crust—did not taste healthy).

Let’s be clear…I love coffee. And I always want to give a nod to those locally roast the golden elixir. But rarely do the confines of small town America provide enough revenue opportunities for both well produced local roast with a legitimately beautiful location…yet somehow The Ouachitas has achieved both. The coffee is great. It was roasting when we got there which always adds to the experience, but they’ve also created a very large space that serves as a high class bar and restaurant later in the evening. So go here. Partake of the goodness…and tip well.

I know this is quite the statement, but The Ouachitas has THE best coffee. My wife and I travel and try lots of coffee shops, but this is the golden standard for us. On top of that, their pizza is to die for. It’s always a great atmosphere coming here.

We shared a Margherita pizza which was good. I prefer the traditional mozzarella, whole tomato and basil without tomato sauce and chicken, but the crust was crisp on the outside chewy on the inside and delicious. I also had their Madd Ox IPA. It had a smoky flavor. I haven't decided if I like the smoky flavor or not. I came back and had a Nicaraguan brewed coffee the next morning which was good.

Went to Mena on a Saturday to visit my daughter and son-in-law also and uncle met us from Kansas City so we had a nice little stop at this bar/restaurant.. I was so excited to see all the beer on tap, which is a big task to keep track of kegs their life and whether or not, they actually still taste any good. So we sat down and ordered two flights one for me, and one for my son-in-law who has been there before, he ordered the fruity beers, and I tried some choice IPAs big Dipa , the Maddox also a stout and Irish red. 1 the English red tasted ok tolerable, the two IPAs were actually bitter slightly vinegar. My aunt tasted those two to see if maybe my taste like was off and she said they were gross. Not hoppy , but bitter just a bad batch I guess. and the imperial stout tasted watery. I was really disappointed! I love IPAs hoppy good , bitter no I’m not hating on this place, the atmosphere was great. Service was good. Keg management definitely needs attention. My advice taste before you buy even taste before you do a flight I like wasted $10 Their brewery made golden beer was good, but that’s all I could say. Pizza was great.

great selection of beers and wine especially considering the area. Food is all pretty good, BUT THE PIE!!!!! I had a lemon blueberry cheesecake and it was to die for. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING CULTURE TO THE AREA! always great to go when we are in town.
