full disclosure: I have only lived in Macalester, Oklahoma for a short time and know very little about Oklahoma policies on mental health. If you are in a dark place, do not go here! Was told it would be months before getting back on my medication, had a full blown anxiety attack in the bathroom in front of a social worker and crisis counselor, I told them if I had to wait that long, I would be dead before that day. I received no help, I was just sent home to finish myself off. Before I lost my composure and had my panic attack in the bathroom, I asked the caseworker how many clients attempt suicide before they are worthy of seeing a doctor, my question was not answered. If you want to live, don't go here. I hope there is somewhere else that actually cares and helps those going through the dark.

Not just bad for clients but for employees as well. My wife kept getting pulled into drama by the case managers. She went to her supervisor and the building supervisor to resolve the issue but instead they attacked her and then got her fired when they found out so was filing an hr complaint. Dirty place full of dirty people. My wife was on the phone with a dhs worker the lady actually congratulated her for not being there anymore! Do not recommend if you can afford otherwise.

I mean, it's a mental health clinic and operates with different teams, plus it accepts state insurance for low income folks; So, I'm pretty sure everyone will have a wildly different range of experiences from this place. That said, my experiences have been good, and anything that wasn't so positive appears to have been dealt with in a timely manner.

Havent had a good experience been trying to go to them for the better part of 2 months now and their solutions are pills and jesus. Cant ever get them to answer their phones so i can get the meds they prescribed to me because theres always an issue at my pharmacy regarding their services and the meds im given. If you need help this place probably isnt for you.

This place is a joke! I been coming to group, twice a week. U see a doctor and a therapist for over 2 years. I use to be able to bring my old service dog in. Then people who brought in there animals who were not allowed ruined it for the ones who really need a service dog. It states on there front door service dogs allowed!! But today when I went for group I was told sents she was not fully trained that she's a emotional dog and that is a lie!!! A cording to the FDA LAWS as long as she has her vest that says service dog, I can take her where I go to train her and that it is legal!! Carl Albert medical center is putting people like me back on the streets because they don't want to fallow the STATE LAWS for people who need a service dog!!! And this is twice this has happened to me at this facility!!!!!!

Zero stars.. forcing people to take poison and not giving people what they actually need. I detoxed from all pharmaceuticals and y'all forced me to take something. Mental hospitals are no good especially this one and every other mental hospital. People need love and people that actually care. One of you said "oh we love you" ya right.

They have failed my younger sister her therapist rewards her for bad behaviors. My sister needed to get put someone to get help but they keep backing out and saying she dont qualify for any help and she needs help in a bad way.
