Something happened to this store over the last year. Everyone that really knows hardware has left. The whacky layout of the store is even bizarre. The checkout lines are not thought out. They have an abundance of new clueless kids running checkout everyday. If you have to ask them for help, they can't even point to the numbers on the isles. Add one star for the member teaser deals and craftsman inventory.

We went to Ace to find a pocket knife. They were low on stock but found one nice enough. So the salesman wrote us a receipt and we were off. I had recently seen a small swimming pool at the Ace on Park Parkrow, and since this location was out, I decided to just go ahead and drive over, scoop a pool for my dogs and be done. Because it has really been hot and getting hotter. Only to find out that the exact same knife just purchased at the Ace off Matlock was $10 less. 🤑 We bought the less expensive one and returned the other one. It took drive and time. But I learned that the stores are usually individually owned. So it was only fair to the store owner at Parkrow to return the knife to the Matlock location.

This is a very clean store with attentive staff. They are always so very helpful. I like to shop their plants. The always seen to have a better variety than the standard box stores down the road.

Their online ordering and pickup was fast and easy. The folks at the front directed me to the appropriate counter and I was on my way in a couple minutes.

Probably the nicest ACE hardware store I’ve been to. Nice location and selection of products. Helpful, knowledgeable staff make this place outstanding.

Was looking for a specific piece for gas line. You guys had this when other big box stores didn't. Purchased it but then had to return for a different size and your employees helped me out great with this.

ACE has has revamped the store to make it more customer friendly. Rather than have a bunch of aisles in front of you when you walk in, the store is now open and inviting. ACE is showcasing the grilling section and outdoor entertainment is front and center in a n open area with great vignettes of patio and deck equipment. Close at hand is a very broad selection of grilling seasonings and sauces as well as every grilling tool that the avid barbecue god could want to see. The pleasant surprise is that the pricing is on par with the big box players plus you get the help of any of ACE's incredible associates. They really care that you get what you came for and are always ready to help or explain new tools or gadgets that you run across. Finally there is a real warmth about ACE that seems to be missing from big box retailers.

Had to get some keys made from Lowes and Home Depot that were not cut right. I went to Ace and a lady named lavonne went out of her way and had those keys fixed for me. Should've came here from the start! Very hard to find employees that go out their way to fix a mistake they didn't even start! Ace is very lucky to have her!
