They don’t allow you to be with your family before or after surgery. I don’t find this acceptable. The nurse called me to update me that my loved one was drinking water now. How is this a replacement for seeing your loved one? We won’t use this hospital again.

EDIT:The phone number provided by Legent to resolve my issue has not been helpful. It is the same number that I and United Healthcare have used previously. I literally just need Legent to file my insurance claim with United Healthcare and to also answer the phone when UHC calls them. ************* The facility is nice, the nurses were great. BILLING...Definitely a concern. I paid thousands of dollars up-front for the surgery and have kept a close eye on my insurance plan because I need to see a few more doctors before the year is out. After watching my UHC app, calling Legent, and calling UHC, it seems that they never filed a claim with UHC. How did you know how much to bill without consulting my insurance company? When I asked the Legent billing member for the claim number he couldn't produce it but said it was files 5 days after my procesure. UHC is currently pursuing answers on my behalf so maybe I will be able to update this post with a more favorable outcome in the future.

Agreed with bad food until today. Today Nov 7th 2018 afternoon.. I see things changing.. Nurse Joyce has taken charge and others, they got our lunch correct( not fast food) They need to hire a hospitality administrator. They are improving as of later today. Food is healthy. All nursing has been wonderful, Let's see how next 24 hours goes. On positive note rooms are nice and big. But ask for few extra pillows as spouse chair to sleep in has huge bumps. Built that way. No bed /couch for your spouse.

Wish I could give a lower review… Had the worst experience of my life back in September 2022. Got out of surgery and the nurse on-call acted like he was in training. Could not do an IV insertion. After an hour and a half another nurse came in and took over. The doctor on-call would not prescribe me any pain meds for the first 24 hours after surgery. NONE! Requested them from the guy many times and his supervisor twice. Was told they had a message in to the doctor on-call and were waiting each time. The guy nurse told me I should’ve brought my own medicine from home. It would’ve at least given me something to take for my pain. The next day I complained to the lead supervisor over all nurses and she was flabbergasted with my experience and said she would put a message in to her manager. I never heard back. I need another surgery for something else, but I will never use that doctor because of his affiliation with this hospital.

Let me stay by saying thank you to the awesome staff at legent. They are kind, welcoming and very efficient with their performance. Dr. Slabisak did a phenomenal surgical procedure and I instantly have relief from years of severe neck pain. You all are amazing and again thank you for allowing me to be your patient. It's actually been a pleasure. See you all again in a couple months for my next surgery

I recently had surgery at this hospital. I wanted to share that I had a really great experience with the care and process. Nancy, Grace, and Amber are fabulous nurses that took great care of me and helped me stay cheerful and calm, which exceeds all expectations. Thank you everyone for your help and care …and smiles! 😊

Amazing hospital and doctors from the surgeon to the nurses , to check in , to anesthesiologist. Made sure I felt safe and reassured me and were very sweet and did a great job on my tonsillectomy cauterization .

Nurse sarah and another nurse with short black hair, I forgot her name, took such great care of me and made me feel so safe and comfortable. As well as Doctor Scalzetti and doctor Germany were so sweet throughout the whole process. I had such an amazing experience at this hospital and loved everyone there :)

Hi, my name is Tanzania Wallace, and I was a patient here on April 13th thru April 14th. From the time I walked in the door and was greeted by Alliyah I felt at ease because of her kindness with helping me finish my paperwork. Miss Nancy then came to get me ready for my procedure. I so appreciate how she was so kind to explain everything that she would need to do to get me prepared. I also greatly appreciate her praying with me before they took me back for my procedure. Once I got to my room I was greeted by Wonderful nurse Grace who took such good care of me during the day. I so appreciate her making sure that my husband and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. Amber was such a joy and so kind also asking if we needed anything and making sure that we had food. In the evening Awesome nurse Shamica was such a sweetheart and I really enjoyed our Mommy-to-Mommy conversations. She came in and made sure that I had everything I needed overnight. I greatly appreciate her noticing that my husband wasn't sleeping right in the chair, so she went to get assistance from Superhero nurse Dani who came and saved the day when we couldn't figure out how to make the chair turn into a bed for my husband to sleep comfortably next to my bed. More importantly a special Thank You to Dr. Hothem for being the best surgeon in the whole wide world anyone could ever have to make them feel better and have no more pain. Overall, I had an Awesome experience in Legent Hospital for Special Surgery, and I would definitely recommend anyone to receive care at this facility. Thank You to All the other staff like John and KiKi the two Great physical therapist who came to work with me and teach me the things I need to do at home to help with my recovery. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to each and every one of you for everything you did to make me feel special and know that I was in good hands. I Pray that GOD will continue to Bless you Always and Forever!!!

04/19/23 - 04/21/23 This hospital deserves 10 gold stars, I give a shout out to Chase, Shanika, Amber, I don’t remember the rest but all y’all deserve 10 gold stars, before we left the hospital 04/21/23 I forgot to ask about my medicines I had took with me, I had remembered when we got back in to town ( Arlington ) our cell phones went working and our home phone was dead, so we couldn’t call to arrange a time for me to go pick it up. Around 3:30pm I had knock on my door, I opened the door, it was the morning Nurse that came in my room to check my vitals and such. She had my medicine in her hand, she said we forgot to give you your medicine back.. I was so surprised to see her standing there with my medicine but very grateful. She drove out of her way to give me my medicine back. She’s most definitely a gold star to me. Thank you. Dr K did a awesome job to. Thank you.
