I would give this place zero stars if I could!! No one speaks English and their automatic answering service asks to press * for English but when I do, they completely ignore it and continue in Spanish. When I just pressed 1 the next time and got a live person and requested to speak to someone who knows English, they just hung up on me. This happened multiple times! Highly ridiculous! I called the customer service number given in the response below and still nothing happened! They need to hire some English speaking staff, too!

I’m not one to usually leave a review, a terrible one at that, but this clinic is BEYOND LESS THAN STANDARD. For starters, I definitely understand wanting to provide wonderful service to the Spanish speaking community, but what about the English speaking community? Not to mention, EVERY TIME I call the clinic and ‘press star for English’, I’m on hold for no less than ten to fifteen minutes and someone ALWAYS answers speaking Spanish. They ask/take the standard basic information (name, date of birth, etc.) and say they’ll leave a message for you to get a call back. Unfortunately, that ’call’ NEVER comes. Another issue we have with this clinic is that we were required to pay out of pocket while pending insurance coverage for our child which, after approved, covers ALL of the dates of services rendered. I’ve made SEVERAL attempts to contact the clinic manager (via phone and email), Myra, whom supposedly is the ONLY staff member that is able to contact the billing department. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR MONTHS. I threw my arms up and had no choice but to contact my child’s insurance (on hold for over an hour and an half) only for them to tell me they haven’t received certain dates of service. Still haven’t heard a single word from Myra or the billing department. It’s clear they’d rather keep our hard earned money vs insurance pay the billed charges in full (which is always a few hundred dollars more than the out of pocket rate). I also requested ALL of my child’s medical records only to be told I would have to wait ONE WEEK. They were more than able to provide the immunization records, but not ALL of her records (?). Dr. Oquendo and Dr. Rayma are beyond amazing. I would give them ten out of five stars, but unfortunately that isn’t enough. The staff are the first people you see and speak to in a medical office. 99% of this clinics staff is Spanish speaking who, if they don’t understand you and/or can’t converse, hang up on you without hesitation. Myra, the clinic manager, ALWAYS seems to be ‘out of the office’ when I make an appearance. No call backs, no follow ups, nothing. Inadequate staff at its best.

The doctors are very attentive and concerned with the patient's situation. The only thing that I didn't feel good about is all the time you have to wait to get a medical appointment.

I recently visited Dr. Marcial Oquendo at Guadalupe Medical Center, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we reached out with an urgent appointment for our baby, Dr. Oquendo was incredibly accommodating. He went above and beyond, spending over an hour with us to address every concern and answer all our questions with patience and thoroughness. His approachability and openness made us feel truly cared for and supported. Additionally, the clinic staff were outstandingly friendly, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Oquendo and Guadalupe Medical Center to any parent seeking top-notch pediatric care. They have certainly earned a 5-star rating from our family!

Well we went there the first day nobody was speaking English my fault. So finally appointment time lady in back was very nice who treated my grandson.

Great service, people from front desk are so nice profesional and helpful specially Maria Alejandra. The place is nice and clean!

Outstanding doctor visit. We received the most caring, detailed and thorough exam for our kids. All our concerns were answered and we never felt rushed. Best pediatrician experience we have had.
