The food at Costa Vida is excellent! I could eat there every day. The enchilada-style burritos are delicious! The restaurant is counter-serve---you go up to the counter and order a custom-made meal. It will definitely fill you up. This is a good place to go if you are worried about your cholesterol level. The food is not greasy. Also, they offer gluten-free items on the menu.

I haven't been here in years and decided to give it a try again today. I did online order with curbside pickup. That went smooth. The guy was nice who brought the order out. My order total was over $22. I get home to find the attached picture. Taste wise, it's like I remember, decent. Price wise, not worth what I paid for two tacos, rice and beans. The tacos don't have hardly any meat on them, hardly any lettuce and includes only 2. 3 would be reasonable especially if they aren't going to have much meat on them. For almost $10. The steak bowl is so small for almost $12. Very odd. At least the dish for steak bowl could be as big as the dish they give for the taco entree. Not really impressed. Hopefully it’s just a fluke because I wouldn’t mind going back.

Tia was AMAZING! I had just been released from the hospital and she went above and beyond for me. I have some sensitivity to spicy food and she helped me order to keep from causing any further issues. She deserves a raise and a to know how appreciated she is.

I have not been to Costa Vida Colleyville since prior to Covid and it is evident it has changed since then. I assume due to paying employees more (a good thing), prices have gone up and quality has gone down (a bad thing). We ordered the smothered burritos, which should be re-named "the all rice burrito." If I wanted additional meat it would be extra, price wise. So what was the normal portion of meat a couple years back is now extra? I know it is hard on restaurants now but how they adapt speaks volumes. I gave two stars since the queso was decent.

Costa Vida is in line with Chipotle, Freebirds, and other imitation Mexican fast food restaurants that thinks if wrap something in tortillas and pour sauce over the top, you can call it an enchilada. In their defense, I'm sure a burrito would have been better. That is their specialty. But still, the food has very ... generic. Don't worry about it being too spicy for you. Plus, it is pleasantly over priced.

The food was decent but not as hot as I would prefer. The dining room was a bit dirty. We wiped our own table to sit and there was a spilled drinks in a few spots in the dining room. The staff was friendly I will give them that.

Great experience today! Even though it was Easter Sunday everybody was in the great mood! My cashier was Ava and she was so helpful, sweet, and efficient! Definitely will go back for both the food and staff! Ava was amazing!

Amazing food. Great staff. Wonderful experience. We ate outside. I got the smothered pork burrito with double rice and medium green chili sauce. Then I ordered ranch to dip it in. Amazing. I hope they get more locations I'm TX so I can eat there more often.

1000/1000 when I walk in I saw all the awards they had on the wall and once I tasted my food I was able to see why, excelente service, clean, fresh food, great costumer service!!!! Their pink fresh Limonade is the best!!!! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a tasty Mexican food place 💕

This was my first time to try Costa Vida and I was very impressed with the size and taste of my sweet pork burrito! The pork was tender and tasted great, and the tortilla was really delicious too. My husband got quesadillas and they tasted good too, although his meal was not a good size for the amount he paid for it.

3.5/5 I got the chicken quesadilla and my boyfriend got the sweet pork quesadilla. The portions of the meat were very very skimpy. They barely put any chicken or pork on our quesadilla. I also noticed that they don’t use grilled chicken anymore. They use chicken that has been sitting in sauce. With that being said, it was still really good. The rice and beans, not so great. My boyfriend got the brown beans and I got the black beans. Both were bland and had no taste other than just beans. The rice was also super bland. We tried the mango habanero salsa. You’d think it would be spicy, right? Nope it was sweet and had absolutely no kick to it. I’ve been coming here for years and the quality has gone down significantly. Very expensive for what you get. We both felt very rushed as well. We took the food to go.

This is a Mexican Hawaiian Bros. Pros: Food is quality and always ready, decor is trendy, atmosphere is upbeat. Good for lunch. Cons: Too expensive, not many options, food isn’t any better than Hawaiian bros, yet is more expensive with drink.

Called ahead to set up order for pickup at 6pm the next day. Did not fix it until I got there. Tacos tortillas were not very good, little meat, hardly any cheese on tacos. I mentioned I could not eat beans or rice on my meal and they suggested chips and queso which I accept. After I paid, I saw they charged me for it. When I ask, they said that "we always charge for queso". Further I bought a pint of queso and they wanted to charge for chips, which is ridiculous since most places give chips away. Not really a pleasant experience. I may try again, in person but not really expecting much.

Everything here is an extra cost. Want a little more rice? Extra. Want more than a pinch of cheese? Extra. Rarely have a good experience with customer service at this location. Only thing bringing me back is their food and sadly there aren’t many other locations in the area.

Cynthia is God sent! She is so accommodating to my families needs and always takes on my requests with an excited and welcoming attitude! Not only do I look forward to coming into the establishment but knowing that someone is prioritizing you and your needs keeps me coming back!

Good food perfectly located for people watching on San Antonio's beautiful River Walk. Laura says the fish tacos were amazing.

We have been a huge fan of Costa Vida & still eat here 1-2 times a week. Everything is great but the cleanliness keeps gradually sliding lower. On our last visit, we hard a hard time finding a clean table in the dining room. Most were not wiped off. Then, when they did come to wipe the tables, it was obvious the poor guy had no clue. He wiped "at" the table, maybe hitting 25% of it, instead of cleaning it. And he just pushed everything onto the chairs, which were covered with crumbs. Post-Covid, you would think we learned a lot about cleaning things... My grandma needs to come show you how to wipe a table. I hope this gets back to normal, because everything else is pretty good.

I've been to Costa vida's in 5 states, this location ranks top 3 out of all of them. The food is always great and so are the employees. The other locations in north Texas can't hold a candle to this one. It's twice as far of a drive as the others, but we still head straight to this location for our fix of shredded beef nachos!

Came here for dinner tonight with my youngest. Always a good experience. The counter service moves quickly. Everything is made fresh to order. They have various proteins, including pork, chicken, beef. All can be made into various burritos, enchiladas, or tacos. My favorite is the sweet pork! It is outstanding, very moist and flavorful. Pro tip: do yourself a favor and get the sugar/cinnamon tortilla for dessert. Thank me later, but don’t look at the calorie count!

Super good food. It has Baja Cali vibes and I love that. Its different for Texas. I appreciate that the ingredients taste and look fresh. I've already eaten there multiple times in a short period of time.
