Definitely not your “typical” Lifetime fitness, but still a nice gym. Very nice staff and trainers, and a very clean and organized facility. The weight room is significantly smaller than most Lifetime facilities, and the free weight area gets very busy during peak morning hours. The stretching/open area is limited to a very small space as well, but the cardio room is a nice size with plenty of available cardio machines. Overall a nice gym, but very surprised to see that this is considered a Diamond level facility.

I have a been a member for several years now. This is not the gym it used to be. Management and staff are in dire need of retraining on how to operate a luxury/premier gym. The facilities, especially the men's locker room, need proper maintenance and cleaning. The mens locker room is always dirty, showers needs a deep cleaning, shower supplies and clean towels should always be available, and I don’t why there are temporary AC units. This is a nuisance. AC issues need to be fixed. If membership dues keep rising then so should customer expectations. Management and staff need to be mindful of all issues/concerns of proper upkeep of facilities. Also, for future members, avoid going during peak hours (i.e. after work), you will encounter some of the rudest people who care nothing about personal boundries.

This is luxury!? The locker room smells like mildew, there are temporary ac unites constant blowing air into the building just to keep it cool. The lockers don't work half the time. The blow dryers never work. The water smells terrible. And the building is falling apart around you. It's a crime what they charge for this disaster. Save your money.

This is the worst lifetime I’ve ever been to. It’s overcrowded. They charge premier gym prices and you get less amenities than other lifetime gyms. The sauna and womens locker room are filthy. There were used feminine hygiene products stuck behind shampoo bottles in the showers. Hair stuck to the walls, and hair brushes that hadn’t been cleaned or sanitized. Womens locker room also has no steam room while the mens does? Equipment is also all outdated and half the treadmills make a terrible grinding noise if you run on them. I definitely recommend a different gym.

I have been a member of lifetime for several years. I have been to several clubs as well as “premium” clubs such as this one. This club is the least professional, most dirty, and run down lifetime fitness I have ever been to. The staff struggles to call you back when you’re trying to purchase additional services. The Locker rooms are dirty. The equipment is run down some and some of the treadmills are boarder line dangerous to run on unless you weigh less then 150 pounds. I recommend spending just a little bit more and going to Equinox Gym or spending a lot less and go to Anytime Fitness. Both would be significantly nicer, cleaner, and less busy during all times of the day. Very disappointing after being with lifetime for so long.

There is an obvious lack of management and care for cleanliness. I am j sure what has been going on to Lifetime Dallas throughout 2022 but it needs to be addressed immediately. I frequent other locations from Allen, Alliance and Colleyville. Dallas is the filthiest from the bathrooms to the gym floors and to a general lack of not picking up. If you notice bathroom stalls you can tell they haven’t been wiped down in ages. You can come in when the open up and find the upstairs filled with trash, bathroom grout is filthy, you lay on the floor you immediately notice the floor wasn’t swept or mopped before they opened, so much metal in the men’s spa area has been rusted over, it took the 3 months to resolve an a/c problem, now most of the spa area, initials, and showers are closed. This isn’t a lifestyle gym anymore with all the filth and issues. The front desk has always been kind and the reason for the 2 stars. Someone needs to call the alliance to and find out their business model as they are always looking 100% each day and clean as if the t was just built every morning. Good management matters and would focus on the detail. Preventative attention minuses long term concerns and it’s very obvious no one is concerned about the long term for the customers and gym itself.

You gotta love Lifetime, however this location does NOT have indoor or outdoor pools. This needs to be taken out of your discription. Other locations do, but not this 1. So if your coming here to swim your going to be disappointed.

Context: I work out between 6:00AM and 7:30AM during the weekdays. I generally work out in an Alpha Class week days and do my own thing weekends before noon. Not your typical Lifetime Fitness layout as it took over a preexisting high end gym. Super friendly and professional staff, from the front to the locker room to the trainers. Special kudos to all the front desk crew in the AM. They are awesome, greets you by name and very helpful when there's a problem. I get pre-workout and protein shakes at the LifeCafe. Again great staff there too.

Not sure why this location is considered premium. It’s outdated and small. Why haven’t they renovated? The workers are friendly, so I’ll give two stars.

This gym is on the decline and it’s all due to poor management. I have been a member for years and there are other gyms in DFW that are nicer, cleaner, and have a friendlier staff (I won’t go into the trainers and their egos here). This is just one of many instances where no one is cleaning. This is a luxury gym but management and care for the gym is anything but luxury. Equinox is looking more and more desirable.

I cannot believe this is a signature club It feels like I am working out in a sad dingy basement. It’s a total boys club based around the basketball court. The sauna is the size of a closet and the benches are all uneven.

Love this Life Time! Super clean and all the staff are super accommodating and friendly. The front desk people/manager/staff learn you by your name and always have a smile on their face! I love all their classes and equipment. It doesn't get too crowded to where you feel overwhelmed, but the right amount to where you feel motivated. For those complaining any gym you go to will be crowded during busy hours.. :). It always has a luxurious feel to this location. Convenient location to most Dallas areas. I do not feel the same way as the negative reviews and neither do all my friends that go here and have recently signed up. I cannot see myself working out anywhere else but at a Life Time club. The quality, consistency, and experience is unmatched. Try it out yourself!

Clean and it never feels too crowded. Polite staff. Good food for post workout. But I'm here to talk about Billy in the LifeSpa! He is an AMAZING hairstylist. Gave my wife the best haircut she's ever had! If you need a new stylist, a new look, or just want something new he's your man. Extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what he's doing and why. My wife was very nervous because she's had bad luck lately at "high end" salons, but he put her at ease within a few minutes. His confidence goes right up to the line, but doesn't cross over into becoming arrogant or condescending. Both of my daughters have already made appointments with him and I will be in to see him soon. Trust me on this : That man is the truth. My wife and I were both stunned what he was able to do with what was previously a terrible ($400) hair cut from some supposedly "famous" hairdresser. I encourage everyone to go see this extremely talented young man before Hollywood or New York City finds out about him!

My mother & I visited this gym for a whole week, while visiting my brother in the hospital. In spite of his hospitalization, this gym was a perfect place to maintain my health and sanity. It was spacious and clean, never overcrowded or cluttered. No one knew of my situation but ALL the staff showed genuine friendliness and good manners on top of professionalism. Everyone made me feel welcome and at ease, and that supported my physical, spiritual, and mental health. I've been a member of Lifetime in Sugar Land, TX since it opened and visited several locations throughout Texas. This is my favorite location to work-out, just because the staff and management would give me peace of mind that my workout refuge is in good hands. I wish others could learn from them.

Corbin, the GM is by far one of the best managers in the business. He advocates for his employees and the place is fabulous. I love their kid program one of the best in Dallas, recently visited the Garland location and even though it is a larger facility. Highland Park is the way to go. I have had my membership for 6 years, love this place.

I visited from out of town and this location couldn’t have been a better gym. Corbin and the rest of the staff take pride in the cleanliness and overall vibe of the gym. Clean basketball courts and a friendly environment to boot.

I came in as a guest to take a class with Brendan Rams and was yelled at by the him to leave when coming in a few minutes late as a result of hitting traffic because I was coming from 40 minutes away. I felt so belittled and embarrassed by my experience. I have never received this kind of treatment at any other lifetime I have visited. After the class ended another member approached me with the exact same experience. I am so disappointed that lifetime would allow their employees to treat members this way.

I am impressed with this facility. The hours of the gym and kids club are phenomenal for working parents. The staff is friendly, the areas are clean, the selection of equipment and classes are fantastic. In addition, the amenities on site make it VERY convenient. The staff and management at Life Time are working hard to exceed expectations and they are doing an outstanding job.

Wanted to take a second to share with you a hidden gem here on Mockingbird. Bobby is one of the most superb individuals I have ever met - in or outside the gym. She is highly dedicated to her profession, extremely attentive to others, and just generally a good human being. I was a newby at this gym somewhere around a year ago, struggling with a morning treadmill routine, when Bobby came up and introduced herself to me. I told her I was tired, and the next thing I knew she brought me a double espresso!! We’ve best friends ever since. She always checks up on me, invites me to her classes, and her well of love never runs dry. If for no other reason, this Lifetime location is made whole because of this lovely woman.

Love Love Love this gym and the team they have! Larry from behind the desk to all the trainers there that make this place amazing. It's Equinox without the attitude! Beautiful accommodation's, great equipment, huge space always fresh and clean locker rooms. If you are into classes they have a ton and it's all included mostly....just saying I love the gym.

Recently joined after becoming a refugee from Baylor Tom Landry. Cowboys Fit acquired and closed for remodeling. Lifetime has the staff, atmosphere, quality, and equipment that makes me eager to get with it as often as I did with my old spot. May have found a new home.

I've been going to this Life Time for about a month and have been loving it! The facilities are what one should expect for the premium gym experience. The personal trainers are personable and committed to you're health weather its 1 on 1 or in the many group classes that they offer. Shout out to exceptional PTs that have been helping me to get some gains: Alexis (Lexi) M. who's Glute Workshop is incredibly intense and makes my butt feel on fire and toned after every session. Lindsay S. who's Alpha Strength classes are the perfect balance of targeted strength exercises, and cardio. Justin D. who's Alpha classes are designed in such a way that you're body hates you for the workout but afterwards feel great and makes your sweat look like you just got out of a swimming pool.

This lifetime is a circus. Corbin Tufford “Club manager” let his highly incompetent staff throw away expensive equipment during the flooring remodel by accident to this date is still hiding it from Lifetime Corporate, Chanhassen, MN, for over a year. Every time I ask, I just get another lie. Or desperate cover up. Equipment is still missing. It’s like Enron of Fitness Clubs. The club does not send out communication when steam rooms or saunas are broken (which again, is lack of management) half the treadmills do not work and it is always excuses. What’s sad is this is supposed to be the top, Diamond club. Horrible management. Entire facility, operations and personal, need to be Audited by Lifetime Corporate Offices, Chanhassen, MN 55317. It is and forever will be my strong belief that personal trainers are personal trainers. NOT businessmen, or management material for corporate entities.

Pretty good gym for its location. Atypical set up in comparison to the usual diamond lifetime experience but IMO best you can get near Dallas with offered amenities. Would be 5 stars if it had a rooftop pool. Only place I have found so far with a steam room, so if that's important this is what you get. John reed is probs better for serious lifters.

I have been a LifeTime member for almost 5 years and have visited several other facilities while traveling but this location has to have the absolute worst customer service. This facility is concerned ‘premium’ for the convenient location (near downtown/uptown) not the accommodations. The weight area is tiny, outdated equipment, small/non existent stretching area. Every other surrounding club has bigger weight floors, dry/wet sauna, indoor/outdoor pool, kid center with classes and activities. For that I choose not to pay an extra $80/month to be considered diamond but I will frequent there once a month on a quick workout day since it is closer to my house and every time the front desk associates makes me feel like I don’t belong there. No one is warm or welcoming and I get questioned on why I’m visiting, if I need a tour (I was asked this on my 8th visit just this year), I have been told I can come ‘this one time’ as if it’s not a part of my membership to visit any other club once a month. I have been visiting this gym for 3 years off and on, you would think they would recognize me by now or at least see in their system how many times I have been coming there. It honestly makes me want to not deal with lifetime at all because it appears as if these tiers/levels create a classist type system even if the facility doesn’t match and make their own customers (I still pay luxury gym prices) feel inadequate because they aren’t a certain level. I am going to continue driving the extra 15-20mins for not only a bigger and more accommodating gym but also a staff that is friendly to me and my family. Sincerely, Not a diamond member

Staff is awesome here! Only complaint is the creepy guy that sits in the hot tub area (and in/out of the sauna/steam room) for hours upon hours ever day, seemingly taking pics of every guy that walks into the wet area. Also caught him multiple times looking up peoples towels in the steam room.

For Christmas I gave my family messages at the lifespa (don’t need a membership to go and then you have access to the gym and daycare for the day). Mom and sis said they were the best messages they’ve ever had (and they’ve had a lot). We went early and worked out, then afterwords we went down to the locker room and spent time in the hot tub and steam room. Left my kids in the kids club while we were there. It was such a great experience
