The best Indian food I’ve had in Madrid! My favorite place is in New York, but honestly this might be my new favorite! It’s a bit pricier than other options in Madrid, but 110% worth it! The staff is very friendly and recommended things to go with our food. We ordered the lamb tandoori, chicken tikka masala, veggie samosa, basmati rice and cheese nan. We loved all of it! We will definitely be back.

We are visiting Madrid from Sydney Australia. Fantastic and authentic Indian food. The food was delicious and was very fresh. Overall very satisfied. We were very happy to find the food was halal as well. This was a great experience and never thought we would find such good halal food so far away from home. The service was exceptional and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend!!

Decided to eat here for dinner with my friends. Didn’t have reservations but were able to seat our party of three. Recommend you make reservations. The service was excellent, the food absolutely delicious. One of the best tasting Indian restaurants I have eaten at. We ordered seven different items, each of them delicious. If you are in the area, stop in.

Warm welcome to the Restaurante. Very calm & relaxed, not rushed. Food & service was exceptional!! We favor Indian restaurants in many countries & this was by far one of the best in terms of home prepared tastes & flavors. Will definitely return!

A very good value authentic Indian restaurant. Good place to enjoy authentic cuisine, good quality food at reasonable prices. You will not find any superfluous trimmings or luxuries but it is a fresh, clean setting to enjoy a decent meal with very attentive and friendly staff. A welcome difference from the myriad of poor quality or overly priced priced restaurants. Congratulations!

One of the worst restaurant ever been to, service and food is so bad I am ashamed even to talk about it.... These people are serving Indian food who has no idea of what they are serving, let's start with the chicken samosa, the cover was made with pastry sheet even if i accept that as an excuse for the process of making samosa cover too difficult, the filling was dry and chewy, then we tried Rezala, which was essentially a sweet tomato gravy with boiled chicken inside, the chicken had no flavour or seasoning not even salt. The waiter did not know what region the where food is from, instead of accepting and saying they'll try to do better next time he said you guys are uneducated and everyone loves the food and started questioning the restaurants we have been to, we went to a Michelin that afternoon only so it made the whole experience extra insulting and derogatory, It was a disastor being there. Don't call it an Indian restaurant when you don't know Indian cuisine..... coming from a chef!

the BEST indian food restaurant in all of Madrid!!! i love it. incredible flavors and food. the service is fantastic. i will always go here when i visit. it is better than many places i have been to ever in my life. try the chicken biryani and tandoori!! finish your meal with some chai. thank you for the best meal

The cuisine is very delicious here. First time I went in this restaurant in Madrid visit, and I ate the best Saag Paneer of my life.

We visited Basmati twice in one week during a recent holiday to Madrid, as the food was so great we had to return! We had the Chicken Jalfrezi & Biryani which were both delicious, packed with flavour and the right amount of spice. The service was great too and the staff were very friendly. We also tried their yummy mocktails. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

The best Indian food in Madrid! So good I return time and time again and it never disappoints! Not only is there fantastic food but a great menu and the staff are all very friendly and polite, nothing is ever too much for them. One of my favourite restaurants in Madrid! It really is 10/10!

Lovely place, great food. The staff were so kind and the service was quick - & they spoke English which is a bonus. Only complaint is that the rice could have used some seasoning. Otherwise a perfect dinner! Exactly what I was hoping for.

Good ambiance, friendly staff, nice food but make sure you specify if you don't want spicy. i had asked for mild and yet it was too much spicy. Other than that all is good. Nice spot for dinning in madrid. will surely recommend it.

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. It may even rival my favorite Indian restaurant back home in LA. The chai was EXTRAORDINARY, prepare to be transported to the warmest, happiest, coziest depths of your heart. It’s that good. It’s better than your grandmas. We tried the langostino curry, butter chicken, mixed veggies, and veggie biryani. Everything was well seasoned and tasty. The only thing missing was some spice, everything was much milder than I’m used to, but that’s to be expected considering most people don’t enjoy spice here. I will also add, I loved that they’re 100% halal & did not serve alcohol unlike a lot of “halal” restaurants here.

Visited here whilst on a short break in Madrid and have to say the Basmati is a hidden gem. The food is wonderful and the service is prompt and friendly. Would definitely come back again.

Great spot for Indian food. Not as spicy as some others - the vindaloo was spicy, but not as spicy as I'm used to, so if you're a big spice head, this isn't quite what you're wanting. However, the service and flavors were spot on.

Basmati has become a weekly occurrence for me. The food is AMAZING. I had spent years visiting tandoori station (also delicious) but found this gem in the neighborhood and can say for price and quality, it’s my favorite. The friendly staff are a bonus! This place is GOLD.

I really loved like garlic naan, chicken pakora and the chicken tikka masala. The vegetable mogul was a little too sweet for my liking. We asked for a hot sauce and it was properly hot. Will be back for more!

Omg, the garlic naan is amazing. And Butter Chicken is must try, the rest is your choice .I recently been ordering the Indian tea/chai. Love it.

Recently, took my family visiting me to the restaurant and they loved the food too. The guys managing the place are friendly and always provide great service! I think I finally found my favourite indian place in Madrid! Can’t wait to come back and try everything on their menu. And the service was really nice. Really good prices and good quantity of food - everything we tried was good (we were 4 people). We are a hard group to please as one is celiac, one vegan and one vegetarian, but we found good options fir all of us 🥰

This is a nice little restaurant serving Indian dishes. We went there on Oct 6th night for dinner and ordered yellow dal, black dal and Chana Masala along with naans and rice. Yellow dal and Chana tasted authentic and really good. Black dal on the other hand was really really thick with pasty texture even though it tasted ok. Naan’s were really light and fluffy. We were probably the last guests there before it closed for the night, that could be the reason for pasty black dal. As this was our first night in Madrid, having arrived there a couple of hours before, our server gave us some tips on places to visit and see in Madrid. Overall it was a nice experience.

Fantastic Indian restaurant. Great authentic food and amazing service. We had the Chicken Biryani, Garlic Chilli Beef, Naan and the home made Mango Lassi and everything was amazing. Highly recommended.
