The food was amazing! Fresh and tasty ideas rather than the same thing you can get anywhere else. The service was friendly, prompt and exceptional. Outdoor and indoor seating options (with outdoor heaters) is a nice touch. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice breakfast spot.

We stopped here on a spontaneous lunch decision after finding out that the Blackfin is closed on Sundays and Mondays! What a great choice it was to come here. It is the coziest little spot nestled into a tight but albeit comfortable space. Service is excellent, staff are welcoming, happy and contribute a wonderful energy to this spot. The food is every bit as wonderful as the people. Portion sizes are deceptively large, even though the presentation makes them look smaller. Prices are modest for the quality. We will be back without a shred of doubt!

Went with my sister, brother in law and my fiancé. Wow the eggs benny is a must to order, biscuits were so soft go cut and eat together. I ordered the avocado toast and it was the perfect portion mixed with lots of greens and adding an egg on top made it 10x more delicious. We shared the cinnamon pancakes and it was the perfect amount of sweetness and it’s also huge! Recommend to share haha The service was amazing, they are super friendly Hope to be back there soon for the next come we come back to visit !

We were on vacation in the Comox area, and enjoyed a delicious brunch at Tidal Café. We were travelling with our dogs, and pleased to learn that Tidal Café has a dog-friendly patio. It was very busy when we arrived (positive sign), so we added our names to the list, and came back and were seated at a lovely table on the patio. One of the staff (owner or manager?) came over and asked if it was OK if she brought a piece of bacon out for our dogs. It was of with us, and the dogs loved it. So not only was this place dog-friendly, but they actually welcomed dogs to their patio. Our brunch was great. We each had a different eggs benny dish, and we both really enjoyed it. It's a cute spot, and I really liked the cute sayings on the boards and around the inside.

We had the best brunch at Tidal cafe this Good Friday holiday Friday. We both adored our dishes, the coffee was good and strong and we scored window counter seats because all the regular chairs were already full. My eggs was perfect, my biscuit crispy, the pickled onions absolutely finished the dish with care. The staff are proud of what they're delivering, justifiably so.

Awesome Benny! Definitely try the salmon. And the hot sauce is delicious. My buddy had the classic and enjoyed it too. Our server, Jasmine, was friendly and offered good suggestions. Music was classic and set the tone. Highly recommend!

The food is very good had the salmon benny which was very fresh and tasty could do with a better portion of salmon nice plating. My wife had the avocado toast which she said was really good . It was the first time at this restaurant we will be back hope the kitchen is a little faster than our first visit. The staff are very nice and helpful. The second visit was great had Montreal smoked meat hash my wife had frittata both were really good. They seem to have a good consistency in the quality of the food they put out. We keep coming back for more great food. The food is very consistent and the plating is very pleasing to the eye. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff.
