This place is an overpriced rental apt and a run- down property. When you go to see the unit, they are not showing a real unit but a model unit only. Also they have other available units, they will say this unit only left. (What homepage shows, don't believe that, even pictures.) The hot sauna is still not fixed. The community laundry room washing machines are dirty and bad smell. There are mouses and bugs inside units and garden. The unit balcony is also running down. It is not safe to go out there. The management workers are rude, arrogant and disrespectful. The way they talk with you, it is not acceptable. What a rude lady and manager. If you looking for quiet night place, avoid this El cordova apt. Some neighbors turn on music very laud over midnight till 2-3 AM. Even you complain to the management, they will just cover up those people, because management workers and those neighbors are same racial. Horrible rental apartment. The management workers should learn some manners how to talk, how to respect other people. And most important thing is the management should spend some money for apartment development. Not only just collect money for rental.

This place is nice (just okay) BUT BEWARE! Rent is raised with EVERY lease renewal. The tenant turn over is excessive, and now I know why. You have to pay for parking and pay even more if you have a second car. Recently the trash has been climbing out of the bins. Upkeep of the grounds could be better. Common areas are available but only one of the grills work. Management has turned over twice since I've been here and with each new manager it gets worse. Like I said... renters beware.

Moved in last July. Nice apartment, spacious rooms, good community with a nice pool. My mother and I were enjoying our stay. We had to relocate for 6 weeks so they could do construction and paint the outside of our building. When we moved back into the apartment, there was mouse droppings everywhere... in the bathroom, in the bedrooms, in the closet. Keep in mind, we had no mice issues while we were actually staying in the apartment. After snapping some pics, vaccuuming, and cleaning the entire place, I went to my closet and saw that the mice had chewed up FOUR of my suit jackets. I instantly took those jackets with me to the office to speak to management. An assistant met with me, took pics of the jackets, and ordered mice traps to be put in our apartment. She completely acknowldged the mice issue and told me to report it to my renters insurance company. I did that but animal damage was not covered in my insurance plan. So now what? I brought the jackets back and spoke to the head manager and he wouldn't budge. So let me summarize... my mother and I get relocated, come back to mouse poop all over the place and around $8000 worth of damaged wool suit jackets, and we don't compensated at all in any way. No compromise when the whole situation was completely out of our control. Even then I tried to take the loss in stride and live out the rest of my lease peacefully. Well, the mice never left. I would be woken up every couple of nights to sounds of them scratching and moving through pipes or wherever they were. It was disgusting. A week later, we get notice that they're going to raise the rent from $2015 a month to $2300. Right away we knew we were moving out. My mentality was to get the deposit back and move on. I did the deposit walk through and everything went well. "You left the place in really good condition." I had already vaccuumed and swept up all the newest mouse droppings. Out of the $1,000 I deposited, I received a check back today for $283. Now I'm all the way done. All I needed was my deposit back and I wouldn't have even taken the time to expose the ridiculousness of this whole experience. If anyone wants to live in a 2 Bed / 2 Bath / mice included, check out El Cordova. Otherwise, stay away.

I've never written a review before, but I can't let other people rent from this apartment complex without them hearing my story first Worst Management Company EVER. RUN AWAY! Please do yourself a favor and find a different apartment complex. The buildings are old and are constantly being repaired. My wife and I have been out of our apartment going on three weeks now because a pipe in our neighbors unit broke and caused our unit to flood (obviously not the company's fault/but is a problem with the property). They had to rip out ALL of our floors and at least two feet of drywall. Again, not their fault, but does tell you the state of the complex. What happened from there is their fault. There is a sign on the mailboxes that list Jodi Stancampiano with the corporate office as the top person to call if your problems aren't addressed. Don't bother. She doesn't call back in a timely manner (2 weeks for me). Eddie (on site manager) tries hard but there's too many problems for him to get back to you with detailed/accurate responses. They also changed our locks without telling us (they did the same to the other displaced tenants). Oh, forgot to mention, this is the second time in about two months our apartment has flooded (from no fault of our own) and we've been forced to uproot our lives for 2+weeks. We aren't the only ones either. This has been happening at several units around the complex. Days go by with no work done at our unit. First time it happened, they put us up in a temporary furnished unit in the complex and reduced our rent for the days we were out of our apartment. We thought that was pretty fair. This time though... all the temporary furnished units are full (because of other apartments experiencing the same or similar issues) and we had to be put up in a hotel. Well it's not much fun living 2+ weeks in a hotel. Our commute is longer, we don't have access to most of our belongings, some of our belongings have been broken or left outside, our belongings have been coated in dust, etc... on top of that, they decided not to reduce our rent this time. So we're paying $2,000/month to stay in a hotel. If you want any more information, post a comment and I'll be happy respond or give you my contact info. UPDATE 11/3/15: The Management Company is at it again. There is substantial tree trimming going on at the complex (not a problem). We were told some trees in residents yards would need to be removed (not a problem), but that we would be informed prior to any work would be done in our yard (there is an extremely large tree (50+ feet tall, several feet around) in my yard). My wife came home yesterday to find our dog visibly distressed/urinated on himself. She then saw that most of the tree had been cut down with a substantial amount of limbs/sawdust left throughout our yard (we were never notified that work would be done). If we had been told that tree removal was scheduled in our yard, we would have boarded our dog for the day. When I asked Jodi (from the Management Company) why workers entered our space without our consent or notice (as required in our Lease and as promised) she claimed that no tree trimming/removal occurred yesterday, despite the fact that I had just told her the tree had been removed. I am trying to get a confirmation of when the yard will be cleaned up, but so far, they aren't responding. I will have to board my dog each day until it cleaned. There is no accountability or respect by management of the Tenant's concerns. Will update when they clear the yard.

Ever since Property Management Associates took over this complex it has gone downhill. They fired all but 2 of the maintenance crew and only work on emergencies, which happen everyday since the buildings are over 40 years old and have not been maintained. Their tree cutting project was a complete disaster. The crew they hired to come in did more damage to the property and did not make any repairs. We now have torn down fences, some of them pried up with plywood. A Section 8 building would probably be more attractive. Next, they're working on the re-piping. Plumbing here has always been a nightmare. They will be tearing up walls and floors, while you still live in the unit and are expected to pay rent -- on the 1st of each month or get charged a late fee on the 4th. They tell you it will take 10 - 15 days but I've noticed they've been working on other buildings for a few weeks now and are still not done. I believe in full disclosure and I think the property managers should advise prospective tenants of the many intrusions that will occur during the re-piping. Finally, unless you are DESPERATE, I would advise you to look elsewhere for your own peace of mind.

Hello, The worst Customer service I have ever experienced from a leasing office. I scheduled an appointment with them and arrive 10 minutes early he shut the blinds also the door in my face, when he noticed me and my fiancé walking up the stairs. knock on the door and ask for the whatever the confusion was The gentleman stated that they was going on lunch and should come back two hours later after 40 min drive to there office. He was extremely rude!!!!!! I really thought that it would’ve been a perfect fit because it was so close to my job definitely hope that he’s not a property management!!! #StaySafe

We lived here for a year and learned a lot about the area. These apartments are not cheap, but they are in one of the most expensive places to live in the country. You can easily find other complexes close by that are much worse for the same price. There were a few sketchy characters and plenty of screaming kids running around, but overall it was not as bad as some of the reviews say. The manager, maintenance crew, and the ladies in the office were always friendly.

I started my lease here and I have to say I am impressed by the unit and the staff. I’ve stayed in horrific apartment complexes and this one is a breathe of fresh air. Notable staff I want to mention is Jack. Jack has been very welcoming, efficient, and kind throughout the whole process. Jack pushes through everything to give possible lessees the best experience for their lease. He came to work injured and still worked extra hard. He’s a tough guy, and he made sure that my wife and I had everything we wanted and needed for our apartment. Overall, the apartments are nice, bathroom is exceptionally great, you have your very own patio, and lots of space. Also, the community is kind, your very own parking space, pool, good gym with a sauna, free grills to have family bbq, lots of safe parking on the outside, close to mall, and excellent laundry room, pets allowed. For the price of my monthly lease, this is a steal for sure.
