My daughter is 11 years old and suffers from awful anxiety. Her therapist put her on a medicine and its been extremely helpful. When we went to this doctor for a medical condition, not about anxiety, a sore throat to be specific, our experience was awful. The doctor was critical right off the bat not letting her cross her legs or have her hair in her face. But after that she told me that my daughter should not be on the medicine saying "oh come on, she doesnt need that. She'll be fine in months" right in front of my daughter. A medicine shamer should not be a doctor. But after telling the doctor why she was on the medicine, the doctor said that her anxiety was from her "past lives." A doctor who medicine shames after knowing someone for a few minutes is absolutely awful, especially for young children. We will not be returning.

Would avoid this place! They don't care about your health whatsoever. My wife was hit in the eye with a surfboard and we stopped here right as they were closing. Her eye was cut and bleeding and swollen. The girl behind the locked door asked what insurance we had without even unlocking the door. I had to dig out my insurance card and hold against the glass. She said they didn't accept ours. We live in SC and I could have paid cash instead but the fact that she didn't bother to hand us something for the bleeding or even have someone take a quick look to see how or if the damage was serious was unbelievable. Absolutely no concern or care further than how we would pay. She never opened the door. We went elsewhere and had a good experience.

Never ever wrote a negative review about a medical practice, but feel I need to warn others. Stay away. The doctor tried to get me do labs using Boston Heart (vs. Quest that was covered by my plan). Her insistence was a little weird, as she kept saying it is a better lab that does more tests than others. Huh? So i researched what is the deal and viola! that outfit is being sued by paying doctors kick-back fees for directing patients to them. On top of that, she was wearing a dirty coat, was constantly calling somebody on the phone when i was in a middle of a sentence, was so rude to her assistants, that i felt very uncomfortable. Then at the checkout she yelled from her office to the receptionist: she has $40 deductible. Well, I already satisfied my entire out of pocket for the year. Just so weird, never saw a doctor behave this way. Oh, and the wait was 1.5 hours despite having an appointment. Needless to say, we are not going back. I feel really bad for people working there, they seem terrified. Below edited after receiving the doctor's response: I never threatened a negative review, I simply called to cancel my follow up appointment -- check with your staff. And I completely understand that you cannot help with my mother's request prior to her arrival to California, this was not an issue. Again, I posted this review to alert others, and to make you aware of your demeanor (obviously, failed at that). I never said you charged me my deductible, but only that you directed your receptionist to check on deductible, an unusual behavior for a doctor in my opinion. I will leave the kick-back issue to your conscience -- I don't have any proof, just the fact that they are in legal trouble because of it. Like I said, never wrote a negative review about a doctor, have utmost respect for the profession, but felt compelled to do it this time. There is a reason this practice has 2 star average. I wish I looked up yelp prior to making an appointment.

SKIP THIS PLACE and go 8 minutes further to SOUTH COUNTY URGENT CARE. 1300 Avenida Vista Vermosa, San Clemente. You’ll save yourselves a terrible experience. SOUTH COUNTY URGENT CARE had an emergency room doctor on staff and took care of my foot in record time without issue. Now regarding San Clement Medi Center, if I could give this place a negative rating I would. Less than one star. These people are unbelievable and should be ashamed to call themselves care givers. They are more concerned about getting paid than patient care but what’s really alarming is given their “primary payment” concern, they are not competent enough to verify insurance. I googled nearest urgent care after severely cutting my toe on rock at the beach. The person at the counter [San Clemente Medi Center] came to a locked door and ask why we were there. She then ask if I had insurance and ask “what kind”. After sharing my plan detail she then told me to call the number on posted on the sign outside the door. This treatment was shockingly unprofessional. After filling out 5 pages (front and back forms) the receptionist said she couldn’t verify my insurance and ask me for my social which I provided. I have Blue Cross insurance and I’m the primary policy holder. I’ve never had an issue ANYWHERE with my insurance but for some reason these people “could not verify my insurance” and started behaving even more unprofessional. To help them, I called the number on my card myself and the automated system confirmed a policy under my birthday. All of this is taking place outside the facility because as mentioned they kept us locked out. I finally told them how unprofessional their conduct was and we left. We went to the next closest Urgent Care who had no issues with my insurance and took care of my toe right away. What a difference a true professional can make. Skip the drama, head to South County Urgent Care and get the emergency help you need.

I would like to start by saying Thank you for the high level of care you and all your team provide. I work the health care field, and I would highly recommend Dr. Kadiaka. She is a incredibly kind and knowledgeable Physician. I had a medical concern and I live in another state, and it was my fist time there. I don't know why her rating is low, but I'm thankful I made the decision to see her. I Highly recommend this Medical care treatment facility.

Best experience from an urgent care facility I have ever had. Each time I visit, I get nothing less than total professionalism and courtesy. It's a small location and sometimes the wait can get long, but all urgent care places are like that. The difference here is the people. From the doctor to the staff, everyone is there to make sure your visit is productive, helpful and most importantly, focusing on YOU.

The staff here was incredibly helpful and caring. When my insurance company gave me trouble about pre-approving services the staff worked on it with me. The doctor was very thorough and made sure to explore all possible causes for the dizziness and imbalance I was encountering. She also followed up with me and helped to make sure the prescription I needed filled was most effective and affordable for me. I would highly recommend them, and am glad they were there to help!

I have been going to Dr. Kadakia for almost six years. My previous doctor was unable to get my cholesterol (good and bad) in line or my sleep regulated. Dr. Kadakia took a lot of time and worked with non prescription options first, then when still not satisfied, added a very low dose statin. My numbers are all much better. In addition my sleeping improved and I lost twenty pounds. She is a very attentive, no-nonsense doctor who is always looking for underlying causes and the best course of treatment. Her office staff is also excellent. Kristen at the front desk is always positive and responsive, and Kashmira, who normally works with billing and insurance also does whatever she has to do to make patients experience the best. She takes up whatever task is needed, fills in where needed, and does it with a smile and genuine concern. I. love. Dr. Kadakia and her staff.

I went there at 4 p.m for severe back pain to the point where i could barely stand and i was turned down by the doctor herself. She was very rude and critical as to why i waited so long to go even though the pain hadn’t started until then. She said there was nothing they could do for me as they were closing in an hour. She refused me medical care because she was concerned of the hours. I went to a much better facility and was checked in with x-rays and everything within 30 minutes. After reading these other reviews though i’m glad i got turned down.

😠 My husband and I visited SC Urgent Care last year and had a great visit, so this year when we were both sick again going back to that Urgent Care location was a no brainer. Then came the surprise bills. I called yesterday to inquire about why we were each now receiving a bill for $80 considering we...

👍👍 We have been going to Med Hero for the past couple of years. This is honestly one of the best urgent cares I’ve ever been to. We are a military family and move frequently so we’ve had our fair share of time visiting various urgent cares throughout the US! This clinic is clean, doctors and nurses lis...
