We paid $300 for two molecular PCR tests that were supposed to have results by 5:30 pm the following day so we could fly to Europe. The results came in at 11:30 PM and we missed our flight. 2 days later we got two rapid tests that were supposed to get us results in 1 to 2 hours and it is now five hours later we’re at the airport and about to miss our next fight. Of course we tried calling and emailing both times and nobody answers the phone or gets back to you. You’re better off getting Covid and getting over it then to think you can get tested by this company with results anytime near when they say you’ll get them.

Our whole family uses the services of this emergency care. All qualified doctors are here. They have their attentiveness, kindness, which is very important especially now. Good luck everyone. Many thanks.

I’ve never actually been to this location but I did visit a clinic in Irvine who bills their services through this one. It’s been 6 months and I’m still getting bills in the mail for a service that my insurance covers and I’ve already paid a copay for the visit. I’ll be calling the billing department today for the 3rd time to sort this out. Previously we’ve called on a conference call with my insurance representative and have been assured twice that there was nothing for me to pay out of pocket, yet here I am with a 3rd bill for the same about and the same service from 6 months ago.

My son broke his arm, we urgently needed help, we were near the Newport Center Urgent Care. We went in, they took an x-ray, it turned out to be a fracture, they helped us. Now my son is fine. We liked everything!

Worst urgent care that has ever existed in the entire state of California. All of the employees are unprofessional, unhelpful, and honestly have no idea what they are talking about most of the time. Went there 3 times for help and received absolutely nothing except a copay.

Yesterday I was at the Newport Center Urgent Care for the first time, at a doctor's appointment. I made an appointment for a call the day before, at a convenient time for myself. An excellent doctor accurately diagnosed, made appointments and explained everything in detail what and how. The clinic has a pleasant environment, the staff is very polite, the service is on top!

This office is amazing! I recently walked in without an appointment for an injury. The ladies at the front desk were so kind during check in and check out. The entire staff took such great care of me and had me back on my board in no time. Dr. Doonan’s office is definitely my go to for all urgent and primary care needs! Highly recommend!

This urgent Care is the best kept secret in the area. They have Dr doonan who can serve as your primary care doctor and you can get in to see them 7 days a week and just walk in. How many times with your primary care do you have to wait and wait and wait for an appointment? This is the greatest gift ever to be able to walk in and get whatever's concerning you taking care of without having to wait and they are kind, the place is pristine and I can't say enough good things about them. Best secret in Orange county you will be so happy you discover them.

Went for proof of a PCR test in November and the tech was very rough with the swab; she jammed it in so hard it made my eyes water and I had pain for several hours. I felt violated. It was injury added to the insult of the $150 processing fee for the test they advertise as "free" but really isn't. Had another test done a couple if days ago and the tech was gentle at my urging, but I haven't received my test results yet, which I was supposed to get yesterday. They've put me in a bind by not following through. Newport Center Urgent Care is unreliable and the only thing they treat as urgent is collecting their fee.

I’m very impressed with Newport Center Urgent Care. Approx 2 years ago, our son had undergone tests for testicular cancer. His GP and urologist doctors east of OC were concerned yet surprisingly said he could wait for more tests after a family trip. Unfortunately he started coughing quite a bit...a highly reputable urologist in area sugg having him test at Urgent Care to see if cancer may have moved into lungs (my mother had passed from lung cancer). I called Around and found the staff and diagnostic offerings at Newport Urgent Center we’re beyond the average, thus wonderful! They encouraged me to bring him in and took him back very quickly. The PA was incredible- she got him tested and CaLLed me that evening! So thankful. He was put on medication and enjoyed our trip. Best news is he is cancer free now after 3 month of chemo. Years ago they also treated our daughter for a fractured arm after falling off a bike. Again they were kind patient professional and attentive. Merci beaucoup to the awesome staff and owner!💐🌻👏

Please look at the below review. This urgent care attempts to scam people out of their money and their billing department is ruthless. I had started a new job where my insurance kicked in the first of the month but I had not received my physical card yet. Early on in the pandemic I had needed to get a covid test and the staff assured me if I paid out of pocket, my insurance would reimburse me. Lo and behold when my insurance reached out to them, they refused to work with them to get me reimbursed. It got to the point where they were avoiding my insurance calls and my calls. It was truly a mess that I had paid around $300 for. DO NOT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE. It takes a sick person to price gouge during a pandemic. The staff should be embarrassed to work somewhere with such unethical practices. I wouldn’t be surprised if they get commission by the way they are willing to take advantage.

Great place. Dr. Doonan is great but I unfortunately did not get to see him as he was not in today. I was a little bit disappointed that I did not even get to see a physicians assistant, but rather a physicians assistant in training, student. However, she was very lovely and I’m sure she is very knowledgeable. Since I think I know More than most doctors I’m sure I’m a difficult patient to deal with, :D …but I tried to be on my best behavior today.

I came on a Saturday which I know there is only one person so I waited a little longer but all in all the experience was excellent . The medical assistant was great ! She was friendly , professional and always told me what she was doing . Her shot that she gave me did not hurt at all , I did not even feel it . The doctor that came was very friendly, upbeat and professional and made sure the items she was prescribing did not conflict with another medication my dermatologist prescribed . She told me exactly how to take the medicine and how long before I would be feeling better . I will definitely be back . It was a great experience for me since I do not like going to doctors .

I really enjoy how good the staff is at giving nose swabs because I am very afraid of them and mine barely hurt. I wasn’t afraid this time and felt I was in good hands. If you need your nose swabbed, definitely come here!

It was my first time visiting here so I wasn’t familiar with what to do. The staff was very nice and kind to lead me through the things I needed to do and she was very friendly! Also the nurse and the doctor were very caring and try to listen to me and willing to help me to get better Also the place is very clean too. Absolutely had a great experience here.

Came for a simple covid test that was previously administered at the parking structure. The front desk person said that now there is a copay. Ok, whatever. Got the test done in one of their rooms, and the nurse told me I had to wait... 30 minutes later, I came outside to ask what exactly I was waiting for... and the front desk clerk started screaming something about $250 out of pocket... another nurse came in a moment later and started telling me something about $250 as well... how about you do your job first? They have 5 people to do one job so they can bill your insurance $$$. And since they are more concerned with the money than the well-being of their patients, I will not step my foot into this building ever again.

Excellent check in process, easy. Team is easy going and very knowledgeable. Seen quickly. We were very well taken care of. I would highly recommend this office as they did not run any unnecessary tests and sent us directly to CHOC hospital to have his appendix removed. They easily could have had us go get a CT scan and charged us more money but we appreciate them doing the referral and help us avoid. Unnecessary cost. If you’re looking for an office that cares about your child or your health, this is the place for you.

Staff is very pleasant and courteous. Offices were clean and I love the sporty atmosphere along with their fish tank. The staff gets you in and out in a very reasonable time. Would recommend their office as a primary care physician.

The facilities are clean and 3/4 times I’ve had to go there has been little to no wait! The staff is friendly and helpful. I cut my finger open and the two folks that stitched me up were kind, gentle, and comforting. Would recommend for urgent care!

The care I received was amazing. All of the staff, from the reception to the medical staff, all around great care and service. Also the best cash pay prices in the area. I was in serious need of care (worse than I thought it was!) I don't have health insurance yet, and out of any urgent care, the price just to be seen was the lowest I could find. I can tell they care. The doctor even called me the next day to check on me! Highly recommend if needed!

This was my first time at this clinic and I was very satisfied. Doctors are very attentive, and most importantly, they are not indifferent to each patient. Another plus is the convenient location of the clinic and the availability of parking, very convenient.

I've had excellent care with this office. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They get you right in and I haven't had to wait to see a PA long at all. The care is perfect if you need to see a doctor quickly. I highly recommend this urgent care.
