The location of the place is perfect. You have shopping centers and restaurants right across the street. The pictures really do deceive you, the cleaniness of this place is not it. The hallways are super dirty that they look sketchy. The main building is the only part of the whole motel that looks nice. I booked a non smoking room but it had a strong odor of smoke. Our TV wasn’t working and the mini fridge was leaking. I will not be staying there again, I guess you really do get what you pay for.

I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately encountered some issues. The room I occupied was not cleaned properly, resulting in an eye infection. Additionally, the staff failed to inform me about the mandatory room change within 14 days. There was no mention of this on the website either. Although the hotel is reasonably priced and clean, the noise levels can be quite bothersome at times.

If you need a place with a bed and roof, yea count yourself in. It's clean. But it's the bare minimum. Rooms are ominously empty. Don't really have much of what you'd need. Staff werent too great to deal with or easy to get a hold of. Waited 6 hours for a clogged toilet. I would return if I needed a quick place to sleep.

I am well aware that Motel 6 is not your upscale lavish motel/hotel type of place, but I have stayed at other locations in the past or even ones that were worse, but I have never experienced finding cockroaches in my room. I was not even there for 2-3 hours and I found and killed 2 of them! I had to get out of there immediately. They did not want to refund me for that night but refunded the rest of my stay. Gross!

DO NOT STAY HERE! Mac the manager is a lying scammer and all his employees are air headed ignorant liars. All the rooms are infested with roaches and the second story windows do not have any screens. They charged us twice for one night and would not give us a refund nor do anything to satisfy us as long time customers. Mac lied about our reservation and even told the booking company that he will not honor the reservation because he felt stupid for messing up and then we were put on the do not rent list because he felt stupid and didn’t want to face us after we showed him all the proper proof that he was lying.

Water pressure at Beth room sink very low. I woke up to use the bathroom and there were roaches! I couldn’t even use the shower due to my concerns with the bugs. When I checked out the lady at the window stated that there was nothing she could do about my complaints. She said she would have a manager call me asap. No one ever called. I followed up the next day with another message and no one has bother to call me back

I have stayed at this specific Motel 6 for years and recently stayed for 5 days and I was shocked to see how bad the property looks. Our room had endless roaches to the point we went to buy roach spray, the hallway carpet was filthy as if it hadn’t been washed for years. The outside were the doors are located by the side parking was also infested with roaches. The property used to be well kept and very beautiful so it’s definitely sad to see it look so bad.

My mom and I needed to book a room for the weekend. We thought booking here would be a great idea but it turned out bad. I woke up to use the restroom and saw that the room was infested with roaches. The roaches came out when the lights were off. It was very disgusting and disturbing. We were going to book for the rest of the weekend but changed our minds. I just hope we didn’t take roaches home with us. Yuck!

I've stayed here before and the nearby shopping/restaurants are great. The room was clean and everything was fine. This time however, there seemed to be a bug infestation in the room. Although one of the night staff gave me a hard time, the manager was very helpful and made sure pest control handled the situation the next day.

I wouldn’t even give this place a star I’d give 0!! The little young broad at the front desk Maria is unprofessional unwelcoming and stale! The room we were given is infested with roaches and I believe the entire building is. I’m not sure how this place is operating under code. The hallways have absolutely no ventilation and are extremely filthy. There’s so much rif raf in and out of this location. For the location this place is horrible and should be closed down immediately for fumigation and proper renovations! I’m not sure how this place passes their inspections. When I reported the issue with the roaches I wasn’t offered a refund we’ve been there since Monday and unfortunately cannot afford to relocate due to being homeless, work schedule and finances. I would never ever stay here again and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. There are so many tenants with so many kids each that the pool is over crowded daily. So over crowded that the pool water is cloudy and murky. I’m with the other reviews the lobby and pictures will deceive you. Do not stay here! This place is infested with roaches and the health department should come out ASAP! It’s unacceptable to continue operating under these current conditions!!

Wow I was impressed! They have been renovated/remolded. My room was great. My room was nice,the shower heads were new and updated as well as the linen.The beds were comfy it didn’t smell in my room when we walked in it smelt new. We had a wonderful view of the pool. Attendant in lobby was helpful and not rude. You are literally close to everything, stores, Walmart, target , the fwy and food! Most importantly dog friendly. This will be our new go to for our trips

This is not a review, I feel good reading good feedback on the hotel’s cleanliness, staff behavior & convenience of the guests while they are here. But I’m hoping that I will not going to experience the horrible reviews I’ve read on this place. This is my first time to check in here in Motel6 Carson, Ca and I hope I will have a good experience. I will be staying the whole week with my mom & my sister, I hope that the management will keep the safety and peace of mind of travellers checking in on this hotel.

Building and Room was very clean, location is prime! Huge Mall across the street and lots of restraunts and shops. Located in a good area so no worries there. Would stay again. Walls are thin and it can be loud depending on other guests but nothing crazy

Due to a website/app glitch I was compelled to rebook the room. When I arrived to find the double book, I alerted the cashier helping me. He assured me he'd cancel it without issue, due to the glitch. That didn't happen. The manager claims, after reviewing video footage, that I entered both rooms but refuses to share said footage. So I'm out over $100 due to shady people who either used the room or sold it again. I stayed there often.. NEVER AGAIN!

Room was close to entrance. Plus. Bathroom had Large outside cockroach. Took very long time to resolve issue and get another room. Television did not work. Stingy with Towels. Lots of outside activity, made us ladies a bit uncomfortable. Overall mediocre experience. Nice that it is close to many shops and foods..

The room had roaches I didn't want my overnight bag on the floor. With a place that big you would think that they would exterminate regularly to prevent pests. At 7 am there were kids running threw hall screaming and laughing. I will not go back there.

Most Motel 6s have TWO Chairs in every room. SOME Motel 6s, even have COUCHES! This Motel 6 had only ONE very hard chair, for every TWO people. Very unusual. Almost all Motel 6s, that we have stayed in, have TWO Chairs. And the ONE Chair, that they do provide, is like sitting on a Concrete Block. The owner must have searched the world, for the most uncomfortable chair, to put in each room.😒😒

Horrible customer service and deceptive business practices. They refuse to assist with any error on their part and send you back to your booking source (witnessed it happen to multiple people including myself) the one employee lied straight to my face after witnessing the conversation with the agent. No manager was available, which he told the agent there was one. My reservation was not honored even after someone here accepted the update, but some how the price was updated. Rooms were also not ready at check in time, super long line. The property appears to be under construction, minimal lighting in the parking area. Doors have key card access but it is broken. Homeless people are sleeping in the parking lot and around the motel. Requested non-smoking room and the room smelled of cigarettes (my daughter coughed all night) asked for air fresher and “no” spoke English to assist with the issue. Called the front desk numerous times to request another pillow and towel with no success. Roaches in the room, and the bathroom was not clean.

The room had a spotless appearance, but when using the bathroom I saw a roach on the wall of the shower. I killed it, but when adjusting the air conditioner a roach was crawling inside. I had hoped that would be the last of them, but that wasn't the case; there was another crawling on the floor in the bathroom and another in the general sleeping area. The fact there were so many made me wonder if the roaches were hidden under the wooden platform the bed rests on. I made sure I shook my clothes out before putting them on. Be careful when using this establishment.

They are Located in an Excellent Place, Close to the Mall and Places to Eat! But There are a Few Things about This Hotel that They Could Fix; 1. They Let People Camp in the Back Under the Hut, I’ve Witnessed More Than Once, a Person Trespass onto the Property and Sleep Back There, I Have Reported It and the Front Desk has Done Nothing. 2. People Love Knocking on Other People’s Doors Disturbing Them then Walking Off like They Didn’t Just Knock on Your Door, Granted They Have Security Cams in the Hall but Y’all Need to Act on It and Y’all Need Security, It’s Too Many Wanderers at Night or People Walking Thru the Property, Other Than These Issues, The Rooms are Clean, You’ll See a Lot of Lizards, Bunnies, Gophers, and Bugs Outside, and It’s Peaceful.

I’ve been staying here for a few years already while I’m working out here. Past year I worked in Bay Area. Now I’m back here, the rooms have changed. Upgrade cleaner and front desk guy was very helpful. I will recommend all my coworkers coming in from out of town to room here

Not bad for a Motel 6. The room was clean. There were a lot of new businesses in the area so the location was better than expected. The hotel itself was under renovation so it might be improved in the future. The pool was okay but there was no hot tub. Perhaps after the renovations they will have one. The staff was nice. The walls are a bit thin so you can easily hear your neighbors. The toilet had a slow leak (Room 117) so it would refill 4 or 5 times during the night which was annoying. The shower was poorly designed. You had to get all the way in to turn on the water and you would get sprayed with cold water. No way to avoid it. However, we were satisfied enough to add one night (spent two nights) rather than move to a different hotel. They can improve with a little more renovation and repair.

We stayed in Cali for over 2 weeks between airbnb's and hotels/motels and we must admit that our most relaxing and accommodating stay was here @ the Motel 6 in Carson! We stayed in Torrance for 3 days before our stay in Carson and regretted not booking here sooner. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the place was so clean!

The place is very convenient from everything. First day we stayed the room was clean and everything but at night time there was a rat crawled out from the hallway to our room. Then we decided to extend our stay but changed a room. Staff help us to changed it and very understandig. Everything are in good shape since we changed the room not until the housekeeper went in our room surprisingly after we went out for lunch before we check out the next day without us knowing it and told me "I won't get paid if I don't clean any room( in Spanish)", I mean I do understand but we don't know your coming in our room surprisingly without asking us first. That's only the incident happened during our stay.

Loved that it’s near a mall and Carson is a cute little city. we drove 20 hrs and they let us check In A little early so that was so great. The staff was very friendly and pool was nice for my daughter, we would stay here again. room was extremely clean as well plus no deposit. Thanks for your hospitality.

My family and I drove in from AZ when we got to the motel we were greeted by the new owner. Very nice person. The prices are reasonable and the place is being renovated . Good experience

We have been staying here for a while now, it’s convenient to where we need to go, a couple of months ago when we stayed, it was pretty bad, bunch of homeless people around the property, as soon as you came out the side doors, there was roaches 🪳 everywhere, the front of the hotel smelled good but if you got a room in the back, it was horrible. Well we just stayed there this weekend and it seems like maybe is under new management and they remodeled the rooms, we had a great stay, I rather my room smell like fresh paint than cigarettes 🚬 we will definitely stay here again.

The room was really nice, the beds are comfortable, and the rec area where the pool is located is nice. I will say walking through the hall to get to our room was an experience. It looked like a scene from a scary movie. There was very little light, the window at the end of the hall was gone no one around. It was creepy.

I was upstairs & the elevators were out of service. I had knee surgery 1.5 weeks ago & had I backpack & a cooler to haul upstairs... that was rough. Then the ice machine up front was down too so I had to walk back upstairs & walk all the way to the back where they had another ice machine that did work.... then back down those stairs. I'm sure it'll all be fixed soon. I know I'm complaining BUT the room I got was to my surprise, Very Nice. I think it was recently remodeled. Very nice & modern. My biggest eye catcher was all the moldings & caulking was on point!! There was no way any insects could get in. Was a quiet night & i would definitely stay there again.

Don't waste your money. Rooms are "No smoking" and bed sheets had cigarette burn marks and the room smelled like pure smoke. Smoke detector looked to have smoke marks from obvious smoking and was definitely not working. Cabinets and drawers were broken and looked to be falling apart. dog toys were also left behind from previous guests which shows the cleanliness. The hallways also smelled like mold/mildew and looked like they had on going construction of which the workers looked to be living in the rooms. Stairs were filthy and sticky. There were people in the hallways smoking and no sign of management/security. This was honestly the worst place I have ever stayed at.

Good size rooms comfortable corner table and chair. Mirrors should be optional in the bed area. It's sketchy how both bathroom and bed area mirror are positioned exactly parallel sides of the wall. Some concerns. 1. Front desk receptionist are not friendly. 2. When asked to borrow an iron, all were lent out. Really...smh. 3. Carpet is black and it makes the hallways dark. Smells like weed throughout the building. 4. Lights were dim or may be the carpet color made lights look dimmed. Quality Inn made look so much better.

Wasn't expecting much from a 2 Star hotel, but this place didn't have anything. Ice machine, vending machine, broken. No coffee or any of the basic hotel stuff. Besides that the rooms were ok. When I'm in California I work in Compton so this hotel is close enough so I can avoid the freeway. It's a convenient location and it's across the street from a huge mall with just about every store and food place you can imagine. I'll probably choose a different hotel next time. While I don't require more than a bed and shower the lack of basics like Ice and vending machines, and the promised amenities like coffee being non existent makes it hard to justify 100 bucks a night. I'd rather pay more for slightly better.

Horrible Horrible place, the last two times I stayed at this hotel it has always been dirty and the bedsheets have strong weird odor. They never leave soap and the people at the front desk are rude when you talk to them about it. This time I went there was roaches I asked for another room and they said it was booked, i asked for cancellation and a refund and they denied it to me continuously. All I can say is I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL!! This place definitely needs to work on better customer service, and cleanliness. This includes their management.

Rooms are nice. A couple of front desk personnel quite polite. But house cleaning are very rude. While I was there saw some of them taking dirty towels home. Manager of housekeeping very rude, likes fabricating lies. Talked to someone on motel 6 official website nothing got done. Housekeeping people always going through customers trash. The cleaning isn’t done correctly, left my keys in the towels holder, asked cleaners if they had fond them was told no. Four days later got the same room and my keys were where I left them. Overall housekeeping people are very rude and unprofessional. SNH

This place has been renovated and is very nice. Big parking lot for Truck straight trucks and tractor trailer parking in the back as well. Front desk did just fine as well. Big pool with a good size gazebo for grilling and chilling as well. I. could not think of anything to complain about for $112, it’s worth it
