Wonderful amazing experience in such a well preserved and historic place, the area is clean, safe , people is very friendly and it's kids and pets friendly by the way, there are several stores , snacks and restaurants, ice cream and different stuff around !!!!

A somewhat strangely designed church in the city center of La Vega, with a lot of concrete and a lot of gray. It was also locked and therefore inaccessible.

Beautifully lit up for the holidays!!! The ambience and the music was everything 🥰 Also, I believe they offer tours during the day.

This place is amazing. It has so much history and beautiful memories for me and many that I know. Beautiful design and purposely located in center city. My family lived a block away and we always sat at park outside the church. Beautiful place full of birds and lovely people who were friendly and respectful. My great grandfather was the mayor and my mom has the most beautiful memories visiting the city hall nearby church. The structure is beautiful and well kept. I recommend this place regardless of religion. It’s a beautiful historic place to visit

Catedral is one of the most famous place to go in La Vega, If you are catholic you must go there and ask to a local guide in the park to explain you about the history of this Amazing place. The best

I love going there and just seating outside enjoying the nice view of cathedral. This is a great place to visit for couples and families alike. There is a nearby icecream store and restaurants.

Located right in front of the Central Park of La Vega, this imposing temple stands out for its architectural design. Inspired by the Albi Cathedral in southern France, this modern temple replaced the old cathedral that was demolished in 1974 after being seriously damaged by an earthquake. It has the capacity to receive about 1000 parishioners, making it one of the main temples in the entire Dominican Republic.
