Staff was very friendly, but the place itself was run down and the animals looked sad. Their cages were so small.

Kids loved this place. Many other reviewers say the animals look sad, I dont agree, they looked just fine to me, very content, well fed and clean. This is family run business, not corporate. You can see clearly it's their hobby and they dont just do it for the money and they are animal lovers. Some of the other reviewers here are being unfair to the owners of this zoo. They do a great service at very low cost enabling kids of DR to see real exotic animals that would otherwise never happen.

The place is amazing.. The animals look like they suffer there a lot.. But the place by it self is surely worth to visit. The stuff is interesting and very educational.. Lot of stories about all the animal living and dying there...

Very heartbroken to watch those poor animals under very deplorable conditions . They should be all send back to their natural habitat and not in a place where they are starving, in small cages and no staff around.

Had fun bringing my child here. The animas where very active and fun to watch
