The burritos are huge! Enough for two people. They make own chips and salsa very tasty!

After a long day of work and over shopping at Horrock's (not hard to do)...we stopped into Nina's starving. We were not disappointed. Great food, good portions, and friendly service! We had the Parrillada (shrimp, steak, and chicken fajitas) and the Burrito Norteno (beef (choose your meat) with cheese sauce) and a guacamole bowl. All of it was excellent!! We will be back!

Honestly thought this was a great restaurant! I tried each meat they served and enjoyed them. Top shelf margarita with Don Julio Reposado is hard to beat (do yourself a favor and upgrade from the Patron)! Will be back again and will bring friends!

Best local Mexican food, ever. I go here quite often. It's the only place I think of when going out to eat. The chips and salsa are amazing. You could have a whole meal of just the rice and beans. But definitely order the chicken enchiladas. They are the best. If you eat somewhere else, you are missing out. Go to Nina's and no where else. Don't miss the lemonade! It's amazing.

The food is excellent, the service is excellent, and the prices are excellent. What used to be a good restaurant has become an absolutely amazing place to eat. We go out to eat way more than we should and I believe we have found our new go to. Thank you for a great meal!

My recent order was takeout tamales. I have enjoyed tamales from Ninas for a long time. This time was really bad and I hope it does not represent a change to the quality. They were very pasty and mushy and my first 3 tamales had a hair in 2. While having hot food is definitely a must, these tamales were beyond hot and burned you to touch. I could not eat them. They had to sit out on the counter for 45min before I could even pick them up to unwrap them and even then they were almost too hot to eat. I think this is the reason for the mushiness. The service rating is from the last time I sat down it was not busy and the 3 waitress I could see totally ignored me and my +1. I walked out without even getting a drink. I will try again down the road as I hate to think this is their new standard. I have always loved it here

Love this place. It's now my favorite Mexican place. The food is amazing and very decent price. Portions are also awesome because I always have leftovers. Which is a definite plus!

Remarkable. I used to eat here a decade ago when i worked at Kellogg, but I stopped there the other day, and it's still so good.

My favorite Mexican restaurant, great chips and salsa. Everything else is excellent. Try the cactus side dish. It's fried cactus with jalapenos seasoning. Makes a great side dish. And I like to take them home and put them on a hamburger as well.

Best "Family Mexican" restaurant in Battle Creek and Augusta. "Real Mexican" food at a reasonable price. If you try it, you WILL be back. Don't forget to tip your server!!! Great food, great price.

Great little place with great food. I'm not from the area, but I am super glad I stopped here. Best Mexican food I have had going out to eat in years!!! Highly recommend!

I came here with a co-worker, and we both ordered the 3 taco dinner, I got barbacoa and he got al pastor. They were both amazing! It is by far the best Mexican food I've had in Michigan. I will definitely come back.

Overall, always a great experience. I've never had bad service and they've never gotten an order wrong! Love the complimentary warmed chips and salsa! If you think you can handle a burrito the size of a Pro Football, this is the place to go! Nina's has always been a favorite and always will be!

I tried the steak fajitas and I absolutely fell in love with the taste of the grilled steak, peppers, and onions. The cheese that was put on top of the fajitas was an interesting take. I would definitely eat here again given the chance to. Great job to the chefs and or cooks of this fine establishment. And most importantly, I would like to thank Nina for such a delicious, low carb, high protein meal that was actually so big, I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. I was pretty full about halfway through the meal. Again Thank you to Nina's Taco's and the chefs for keeping up the great work and delivering another awesome, comforting, satisfying, meal. So if you ever decide to try real, authentic, amazing, and flavorful Mexican food, then this is definitely the place to check out! You won't be disappointed! However, your taste buds will thank you!!!! 😊 😊 You're welcome! 😁

The food was just okay. Long gone is the way Nina's used to be. Service was not that good. Food came out fast. Too fast for the staff to figure out what table food went to. It was pretty ghetto in there as well. People getting loud over who was going to pay for meals and at times, seemed like there might be a fight. It certainly isn't in the best neighborhood. I will not being going there. It's a shame to see it become what it is now. I used to go there twice a week.

Been going here for 20+ years. I have warm memories of getting Horchata before going to swimming practice after school. Unfortunately when I go in the last couple years it's okay at best. Prices are ok, but you only get one round of chips, which just seems wrong. Service is touch and go (maybe like most places?) Which adds to some frustration here and there. Overall they'll take care of you here, but I think there are better options for Mexican.

We are in Michigan so I am just grateful they got some spicy salsa verde. And the foods alright. I don’t think one should compare it to San Diego, or any Baja California taco spot. (I swear I would cut off a finger for some 2 for 25cent Tijuana tacos) Nina’s is essentially food truck quality, but that’s reflected in it’s prices, I will definitely eat here again.

Awesome place to eat Mexican cuisine, lot of choices on the menu and the food is excellent. Our party of 15 were treated like royalty and the servers were on the spot. The cooks made every dish perfect. Will be back.

I go here at least 2 times a week, always on spot, always great hott food, I see other reviews on chips and no refills, no way, people open your mouths and ask. Never have them say no, always on spot and get whatever I need and quickly! Keep up my #1 spot, you guys are great!

Great quick dinner close to the train station. We got a fish taco and chicken taco and both were great. The pico was very good as well and I added it to the chicken taco to spice it up a bit. We ate on the quiet patio out back which is away from foot traffic. Friendly service too!

I love my chips and salsa, one bowl is not enough. Had a great meal, which there was lots of dinner plates to choose from. Even had a burger on the menu. And it's always nice to have your favorite beverage. Alcohol included...
