Unfortunately my experience was not great. Our food came out almost 10 minutes apart. Pancakes were so hard I couldn’t cut with my fork. Representation of food was also poor. Look how sad the photos look. Now our server was GREAT and that the only reason its 2 stars. Quality has dropped and they need to refocus on that.

Always a great place for hot, delicious, generously portioned comfort food! Cracker Barrel is the place we always stop for during our road trips, and it rarely disappoints. This time we had the Southern Fried Chicken, which was hot, crispy and juicy. All the sides were delicious, and their new Sugar Plum Tea is very good! Service was a little slow here, and I wish their to go boxes were bigger and without sections. One of my leftover chicken breasts was so large it was the only thing I could fit in the box!

Only 4 stars because it took a long time for food to arrive to table. Shorthanded I suppose. Other than that, great experience and good food. Friendly staff. Value for quality was pretty good. Price was about $10 per person for what we ordered (we were group of 12).

Ordered the Grandpa Chicken Fried steak and eggs. The busicuts were rock hard & cold, the chicken Fried steak had a peculiar taste, the hash brown casserole was cold & hard topping, unfortunately disappointed. Have had much better experience at other Cracker Barrels across the USA. Happy eating

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store....it's usually a safe bet that you'll get a good meal and lots of it here! Everything is always good. Even when things are a bit off, every restaurant has off nights, they are always quick and happy to go above and beyond to be sure your meal is great. You can get breakfast all day long too! In my opinion, Cracker Barrel reminds me of more of a home cooked meal....at least more so than most other chain restaurants. Prices are very fair for the very generous amount of food they serve you. You will not leave hungry! The staff is helpful and friendly. I've seen them personally at times helping families with children, babies, elderly, and making accommodations for people in wheelchairs. The restaurant does seat quite a bit of people but it never seems to loud or understaffed. Lastly, after your meal you get to look through a General Store type of shop as you go to the counter in the store to pay for your dinner. The store has some pretty cool stuff! There are usually a couple of clearance displays which can have some great bargains. They also have craft sodas for sale in the store as well as some harder to find candy and sweets. There is a huge covered front porch across the entire restaurant where there are rocking chairs and game tables. How awesome! If you haven't been to a Cracker Barrel General Old Country Store get crackin'.....you won't be disappointed!

Waiter was super friendly, and I noticed he went out of his way for an elderly female who came in to dine alone by sitting with her and chatting. Our table was super close to the one beside us but it wasn't terrible. The food was warm, chicken was juicy. Not a bad visit to cracker barrel while traveling home from Chicago.

This was my first time here. There was a little wait about 2:00pm in the afternoon. Just a little busy for a Monday. Still got a table right away. The server was friendly. Food came out hot & cooked to order. Nice spot to eat.

Tl;dr: Manager has a tantrum and turns red, we leave without paying for our cold food and get better service elsewhere. It was a slow Sunday night at the Beckley road Cracker Barrel. 4 tables other than us present. To begin our visit we were seated at a filthy table. We literally had our feet resting on top of food and napkins from the guests before us. Server who was assigned to take our table loudly complains to another server about being sat and asked her to take our order. Food took just over an hour to get to the table from the time we ordered it, and was cold when it did show up. The server told us the food took so long because they only have one cook and he was in the bathroom so the manager had to cook our order. The manager was extremely rude when we asked to see him. He trudged up to our table and grunted "Can I help you?" This guy seemed burned out and ready to fall over. Instead of owning the poor experience he and his staff had provided he turned bright red and began accusing us of lying saying we only waited 20 minutes. He didn't have anything to say about the filthy table or the cold food he himself had apparently sent out to us... He instead just wanted to reduce our hour wait to a mere 20 minutes. The crazy part is that we were literally calling him over to ask for a discount on the cold food, and 2 to go boxes so we could take the food home to heat it up to finally eat it, but with this guys unprofessional attitude, and apparent lack of training on the line, we got up and left. We found much better service and food at the other nationally known breakfast place literally right next door to this poorly ran dump. Save yourself the headache, shop at their cute little store, but eat elsewhere. ❤

I ordered online for curbside pickup early this morning, and I don't expect a lot from Cracker Barrel but this one was particularly bad. They were almost 10 minutes late in bringing out my food. Which is understandable if they were busy, however there were only 2 other cars in the parking lot. Also would have been understandable if my food wasn't done, but I received notification it was done and based on the cool temperature of my food it had probably been sitting for a while. They also provided me a single spoon to eat my breakfast of biscuits & gravy with a side of bacon, it was an interesting experience. They forgot my hot sauce that I like to use to spice up the bland food they serve. All in all not a good time I would really expect a little more care and attention to detail from a restaurant with multiple staff members and almost no customers at 7:30 on Sunday morning.

Latrece was our server and she is one of the kindest waitresses we have legitimately ever encountered! We go to Cracker Barrel’s very often on road trips and she is hands down one of the most memorable servers we have ever had. Made the location and experience even cozier than usual! Thank you Latrece! And the whole team was very kind. A standout staff overall!

So husband and son ordered their food. It was good. (Sons was hot, husband's sides were warm) I ordered the turkey tenders. They were cold and chewy like how I would think you would chew rubber. You could barely cut them with a knife. I waited longer for them too. Husband and son were half done their meals before I got my meal. When it got to the table it was cold. Told the waitress and she talked to the manager and they said they would redo them. I said no as everyone else was done eating. She said she would have the manage come out and talk to us. The manager never came out. We paid full price. Our waitress forgot our biscuits and corn muffins ( we had to ask for them) Our waitress asked our son if he wanted a refill he said yes and then we had to ask for it. We signed up for the rewards and ordered one of the appies. Never got that either (nor were we charged for it) When we paid, no one asked about our rewards. With it being a new program, shouldn't they be?? I LOVE Cracker Barrel. And this was such a disappointing experience. We live in BC Canada, so when we are in the States, we always go!! Well I am going to skip past this one.

Excellent experience here. The staff were friendly and quick. The place was packed but our food came out in a very reasonable time. The grilled chicken salad was excellent. My wife had grilled chicken with Mac and cheese, biscuits, and veg. All was good. We will definitely return here when we are passing by again.

We had a great time with family and friends on Thanksgiving day. We decided to do something different this year and let someone else do the cooking. Cracker Barrel was that someone else, and they did all the clean up. The staff was great and got our party of 17 seated in no time. We had great service and a great atmosphere and would definitely do it again.

It was pretty busy and took a while for our food to be done, but it was well worth the wait. My chicken was seasoned perfectly and was juicy, the turnip greens were pretty darn good, and my husband and son's steaks were done to their liking. Our waiter, Shane, was super busy but did his best to make sure drinks were filled and that we had everything we needed. Overall it was yet another wonderful meal at Cracker Barrel.

Had grilled chicken tenders. They just don't taste like they used to. I don't know what they marinade them in but they are not the same. Won't buy them again. Took four of them home to my cat. Green beans are not the same either. Carrots were a little crispy on the inside but tasted good. I want my food to taste good for the price you have to pay.

The country store is loaded with all kinds of goodies and gift ideas for all ages. The restaurant was pretty busy, and our server didn't spend much time with us. They were polite, just busy. The food was delicious too!!

Cracker Barrel food is consistently high quality from store to store. They have great breakfast and great dinner choices. The grilled catfish is awesome and so is the fried version. Their sides are the best - real southern tasting items that taste like my grandmother made them. They seem to have kept their prices down better than most restaurants through the pandemic and supply shortages we have recently experienced. They get an A+ for that!
