Like this gym, but staff is hard to find when you need them. Wish they would invest more into equipment on the lifting side vs the cross fit side.

Save your money and go to a professional gym. The equipment is lacking and old but they're trying to make room for a tanning bed? The building is old and regulars are impatient and don't share lifting space. There's no way to update your payment information and they make no effort in trying to contact you, they just close the account.

I have been at this gym now for about one year. The gym is fairly well maintained and has been clean and inviting. There is a good amount of equipment for the beginner all the way up to the advanced. There a lot of cardio and other non "free weight" type machines for those who want to engage in weight loss and other low impact type exercise. The free weights are plentiful and the variation in the type of equipment is good allowing for a solid work out that equates to big gains and little to no wait time for equipment. As a bonus, the facility also has a full Cross-fit gym and a martial arts class. Great gym for all levels...

Cables will most likely be broke every other month. Always some type of construction being done. 95% of the equipment is old and rusty. Comparable to Jackson high’s “gym.” Very MID

I've been a member of Powerhouse Gym in Jackson for over a year now. its a 24 hr facility and the one thing I like the most is that has lots of equipment. So those two factors, means that most likely you won't have to wait for equipment. That was a selling factor to me. Included with the gym membership comes boot camp. Which its a great complement to weightlifting. Staff is great and very knowledgeable, facilities are well kept. The only downside is that it only has two showers. Next to it, its 517 CrossFit. I've now joined it and as far as results, I couldn't be any happier.

My favourite gym im Jackson. It is never too busy and is very clean. They have awsome programs and classes that are included with the membership at no extra cash. I would recomend this gym to anyone that is looking for a place to give you guidance on how to better your health and routine.

Powerhouse downtown is awesome! I went in today to sign up for my membership with a woman named Mikaelah. She hooked me up and made sure I knew where all the different machines and amenities were as well as gave me quick tutorials of how the machines work. The atmosphere was super comfortable for me to pick back up my fitness journey and I’m super excited! Very clean facility.
