This is such a simple but AWESOME ride!!!! It starts off going through a long, dark tunnel and then back outside where you float under overhangs and past other little surprises! Then you it pulls you up a decently long chain lift to the big slide!!!! The slide down is steep, fast, and so much fun!!!! You will get wet!!! We noticed though that the person in the back of the boat always got drenched while the people in front just got damp. Guess in depends on weight too. I took my three year old son on this and he did NOT like the ending drop so keep that in mind for younger children. My other kids (ages 8 through 15) loved it! Lastly, it also takes your pic while on the slide so you have the option to buy it. I believe it is around 20 bucks.

I've been going to Silver Dollar City for years. Love the country atmosphere and theme. The food is great and the people are nice. The rides are also great. Love the roller coasters. The American Plunge is one of my childhood memories.

Expect your friends to not take kindly to being splashed by you if you choose to do so. You will get wet. Very wet. And then, when you remove your shirt to wring it out after the ride is over the park attendants will frown on your glorious display of your packed and golden musculature. So do this quickly and discreetly, paying attention to the whereabouts of park officials who are not stunned and awed by your glory.

Good old fashioned log flume ride. However the dark tunnels may frighten smaller children so keep that in mind. And, it could use some refreshing/refurbishment. But, it's still a good ride through the forest.

It's a fun log flume ride. You will get wet if you go on it. It's at Silver Dollar City, and the rides are all free with the price of entry.

Very calm ride through a lazy river—until the end. This ride at the amusement park has a long, steep, quick acceleration into a water-filled track. I’ve ridden this ride many times and it’s very fun. Depending where you sit, you may or may not get wet. It is also hard to predict sometimes. I would not bring electronics or other things on the ride that aren’t water resistant. This is definitely more of a water park type of ride.
