Ahhh Famous...the beloved local piehole that spins out their own classic take on Greek-style pizza. They use a shallower dish than some other establishments and it's gives their pies a unique feel. They dough is proofed and I assume they butter/grease the pans because the edges get this perfect crispness...the low pan allows for some of the cheese crisp and adhere to the edge of the crust makin for an epic bite I like to save for last...the sauce has a bit of extra sweetness(a greek thing which i👌) and the cheese is rich leaving small pockets of greasey love spattered about. Fab' s Hint: unbeknownst to some other local spots these guys havin been pushin pies with that epic cup-n-char roni since the 80's so a half n half is a slam dunk. My only knock is the flop which with Greek pies is par for the course but besides that it's def one of the best versions around

I have been searching for good pizza ever since I moved to east Danbury. Today I found it. What can I say? It is called Famous Pizza for a reason. It's just great food. Let's celebrate its 40 years in business! You need good luck to park in front, but Bethel Library's parking lot is a 3 min. walk. Or feel free to tell us more place to park.

I’ve been coming to Bethel pizza for basically my entire life. I really loved their old pizza from next door but I gotta say that the Sicilian pizza is really good!! Basically like having the “old” style pizza. I’ll probably stick to getting this type of pizza from famous from now on. I really like the vibe of this place and being able to sit and watch the outside is really cool especially when the window wall is open! Allows for a nice breeze. 4.5/ 5 stars just because I do miss the old pizza but I understand why it’s different , the only other thing I can say that could improve is that the bottom of the crust was a little crunchy for my liking, but that may just be because I got a single piece instead of a whole pie. Try this place out if you’ve never had it before!!!

Ordered some plain wings and they were literally plain. The wings weren’t seasoned nor were they even fried in flour. They were the most bare wings I’ve ever witnessed. Luckily I had some barbecue sauce in the fridge otherwise those wings would’ve been fed to my neighbors dog. Word of advice, when someone orders plain wings at least season em up. I don’t know how the chef got the ok to send me those wings 🤣. The one good thing I can say is at least they were thoroughly cooked and that’s about it. Response: Plain wings doesn’t mean refrain from seasoning of chicken. It just means I didn’t want wet wings.

Same order (chicken parm grinder+Caesar salad w/grilled chicken) is $10 less expensive here than previous regular spot, and the food is better. And I’m always impressed by how kind the people at the counter are. And I’m grateful for the options available on the online order menu. Thanks!

I have been coming to Famous Pizza since I was a newlywed decades ago and have never wavered in our devotion. Excellent ingredients, commitment to quality and the nicest owners in the whole world. Delicious, excellent value! What more could you ask for?

Have been eating Famous pizza for a very long time before the expansion and they always were great when i was young and would come in to eat with my group of friends. I have been ordering take out lately and its always crisp and hot, delivery is always on point, they follow instructions and keep it professional, with many other pizza places in the area , this is one that should not be skipped. I have been going here for 3 years now since I discovered this awesome shop. The pizza is truly one of the best I have had and I have tried many. It’s original, has good pricing and is always on point. Their fries carry the same story, very delicious and a large portion. I have tried many things here and they have always been delicious. This time though, I decided to try the Metro Chicken Wrap, which I was incredibly impressed by. It was carefully put together and you can tell they made it with love which is an ingredient that’s quite hard to find in food nowadays. It is evident that the owner of this shop cares about it and the employees, as they regularly provide excellent service. #1 spot, thank you.

We love the food at Famous Pizza. We order take out often from them. They have their own employees deliver food which as a huge bonus! Food is always spot on and delivered nice and hot.

I found d this little place thorugh an app called 2good to go which by the way I just started trying and I think it's a good idea for sustainability. Point is this little pizza place is kind of new in the app and it was a very good discovery. They have fresh pizzas and slices so if you go for a slice it will only take a sec to get you food.

We have been eating at Famous for years, besides their tasty pizzas we also love their Chicken Parmigiana meals. It’s a shame that they replaced their cozy dining spot on the corner with a typical trendier take out place with only a couple of tables. The food is still good but we no longer go there as often as we used to.

This used to be our go to spot for pizza. Unfortunately, it just isn't the same anymore. The crust isn't what it used to be and after several chances and hoping it was just a 'bad day', this isn't a place I'd recommend any longer. Hasn't been the same since it moved next door

Our family loves.Famous Pizza. I certainly missed it when I lived in North Carolina; each time we came back to CT, we made sure to stop by for a pizza! Now that we've moved back to CT, we have Famous Pizza at least once or twice a month. In fact, whenever when we ask our Grandson where he would like us to take him out for dinner, his response is always the same - Famous Pizza!!!

The pizza here always taste amazing and the service is top notch. They have an awesome menu and the prices are very cheap too.

Very good pizza, delicious mozzarella sticks. Place was clean and easy to find seating. Service was good. Total bill was around 40 bucks for a family of 4. Would definitely recommend and return

Love the new place. I always thought they have the best pizza n best grinder. I moved out of town n the was a great surprise. How everything looks so much nicer, but the food is the best in town still.

Famous is one of our go-to places. Cauliflower pizza fan for sure and weekly grinders or wraps. The staff is amazing. And the delivery when we choose that option is timely, served hot, and polite delivery staff. Great place!!! Always.
