To
say
that
visits
are
inconsistent
is
an
understatement.
My
first
visit
was
wonderful,
from
the
front
desk
to
the
nurse,
and
doctor
who
saw
me
-
I
felt
heard,
listened
to,
and
helped.
I
felt
like
I
was
valued
and
my
concerns
were
valid.
I
was
given
great
advice
and
guidance
and
I
left
feeling
reassured
that
they
would
help
me
with
my
medical
needs
and
concerns.
Today
was
a
bit
different.
The
front
desk
and
nurse
were
still
wonderful,
kind,
and
professional
-
but
the
doctor
who
saw
me,
Steven
Pirola,
was
a
different
story.
When
I
explained
my
reason
for
the
visit
he
told
me
how
I
was
going
about
things
the
wrong
way.
I
was
told
I
was
in
the
wrong
place;
and
when
I
explained
I
was
there
because
I
could
not
get
a
soon
enough
appointment
anywhere
else
he
continued
to
reinforce
that
I
was
going
about
my
health
care
in
the
wrong
way.
I
came
for
treatment
and
a
solution
to
a
positive
test
result
and
he
continued
to
give
me
a
run
around.
He
told
me
how
most
insurance
won’t
cover
what
I
was
there
for,
see
I
may
need
to
pay
for
the
visit,
and
I
said
that
is
fine
-
I
have
a
positive
test
result
and
would
like
support
with
treating
what
I
have
with
antibiotics.
Again
he
continued
to
talk
about
cost.
Last
time
I
checked,
I
was
visiting
a
medical
facility
seeking
advice
from
a
medical
professional,
not
a
financial
advisor.
Implications
that
cost
would
be
of
more
of
a
concern
than
my
health
care
are
completely
unsolicited
and
unhelpful.
Also
upon
reviewing
my
discharge
paperwork
there
are
discrepancies
in
what
I
tested
positive
for
versus
what
is
reflected
on
the
paperwork.
Had
I
not
been
comfortable
speaking
up
and
advocating
for
myself,
I
would
have
left
with
no
solutions.
